It’s prob been said before but I live near Corpus Christi and when we go to Colorado we spend more time in Texas than any other state on an 18 hour drive, just to give more context of how big Texas is lol
I haven’t watched the video all the way through so if you did go to one of these places I didn’t know but please go to Franklin’s bbq (the king of bbq) and KG bbq for me as I have always wanted to go! KG bbq is egypt flavors mixed with texas bbq and has been all over the food news lately and has also won a James Beard award.

In the summer in Texas we can not swim in some of the lakes and smaller bodies of water due to the warm temperatures of the water inhibits the growth of a rare amoeba that causes severe damage to the vital organs such as the brain and heart. I wonder if something has been done to the water where the athletes will be swimming to ensure it is clear of these and safe for the athletes as this is not well known, especially of people from cooler climates. Naegleria fowleri is the amoeba.
