jason i really enjoyed your video and music. i am in process of buying transit to try van life with my 11 yr old daughter. cant wait to watch all your videos. thank you!
Spend more time on editing. Specifically, I pretty much had it muted because of the music. And it’s really not so much the music as the sound levels. Could hardly hear you - turn your voice track up a bit. The sound track should be background - really much lower imho. I think you probably turned off a lot of people with the song choice but if it had not been so “up front” if you will, it probably wouldn’t have been so irritating to some. That said, nice build out and the video (visual) was pretty good.
@@JASONPHELANSTUNTS I may have come off a little harsh. The build’s fine. Great job. I also know it takes a lot of time to edit a video together and there can come a point where you just say “I’m done with this! I can’t take it anymore. Time to do something I really enjoy” (like building the van). If I could have replied privately I would rather have done that. Just trying to give some feedback more so about the video itself than the build. Sorry if I offended you. That wasn’t my intent.
great build, Jason, i see you have #2 up already, so i'll be on to that next. i was wondering what stove/sink combo that is. so many of them have just one burner and a round sink.
To honest you get the experience of building/learning what you want and in the end it pretty much is a camper. It also so much cheaper if you do it yourself, even if I had the money I would still build my own.
Jason Phelan yea, a bloke I worked with had to remove metal shavings from his eyeballs with needles at the docs, needless to say he didn't do anything without protection after that.
happy for you man this is my dream (:

Jason what was the sticky sheets you stuck to the panels inside before you stuck the insulation on?

Dave Burchette wow That’s a long comment, I hope I didn’t wreck your day by converting my van and making a video of it. Good luck converting your van

Daz Black cheers, my van is a 2011. Good luck with your build
Looking forward to part 2, looks like an awesome setup! How does it compare to just buying a camper?

What is that cabinetry frame/material? (chrome? and black corners)
Fly ingDutch I’m not actually sure. The units came out of an ambulance
Next time, wear safety glasses when cutting metal. Thanks! 🤓 👓

Nice conversion, your music was just painful... Still had a tumps up :)
@@JASONPHELANSTUNTS What was that stuff you stuck on the walls first (0.15) and what is it for?
@@chatteyj
Sound deadening material.
Unwatchable because of that horrible music.
