That's an amazing van...I love it... with just a couple exceptions. There's no "storage" for even a small amount of dry goods (food or did I miss something?) and something to eat from - dishes,cups,cutlery,etc.. Thanks for sharing your video with us! @Shane Norton - you are a "Grinch" (a horribly mean-spirited & hateful person)! Van life can be as great or as horrible as you want it to be!
That is crazy for it to be illegal to live in a vehicle but perfectly fine to be homeless and sleeping on the street. Kind of an oxymoron. So in other words the gov wants you to pay for your existence. Definately sounds like against the mid to low income citizen
I agree with what others have said about the esthetics. I am impressed with the power management systems. 2nd alternator powering batteries. No Solar, No Propane. Brilliantly elegant.
Jessie in DC - i thought he does have solar though, because he talked about how long it would take to charge the battery from solar. Could be wrong though.
Something I’ve always wondered about, how hard would it be to stealth out a very small generator with a muffler and run it right off the fuel for the vehicle? I know that many long haul privately owned semis have installed generators instead of forcing the occupants to idle the drive engine
Meh. This is really nice and well thought out. But unrealistic. Where’s the storage. It’s too minimalist/zen. Anyone living in that would surely have a bunch of clutter taking over the main space. It’s just how it is man.
The man has built and now sold 5 vans... in a country with a population over 300,000,000. It's not for everyone. But that interior would pass for a slick business office anywhere, which fits the needs of at least 5 people. Kudos for finding a niche and doing it well.
I love this design. I’ve always thought a Murphy bed would be the best option for space when living in a van, yet this is the first time I’ve seen it actually done!
Love the Murphy bed. That's pretty much exactly the design I've been considering for myself. A bed you can put away fully made and then just flip down to sleep is just perfection, none of that aggravating making-your-bed-twice-a-day stuff, and you don't have to use up 75% of your entire living space on a permanent bed platform. I still want the living area up front as well, and the ability to rotate the front seats, and somewhere in my van I am going to wedge in a shower, and there will be at least one window in the sliding door... but I do like the build choice in this one.
@@JarrodTocci Yep. And all in all, this is absolutely one of the best, if not even the best, build I've seen. Personal choices like windows or no windows, and using the front seats or not aside, this is an awesome build (aside from the shower which - for me - would be a deal breaker.) The huge Lithium, dedicated alternator, all-electric everything, even floor heat, no propane and just diesel furnace to heat the space - just a dream spec that's probably super easy to live with, and my hat is off to Brandon. I suppose building a few vans has let him drill down to a good setup. I do take some issue with the notion that solar would take 20 days or whatever to fill 600 Ah - sure, if you start from scratch and have tiny solar, maybe, but you can put 3-6-900 watts of solar on top of a van, and rarely does anyone use that much every day. So solar is still very useful even with 600 Ah or more of Lithium - it keeps it topped up making it that much less necessary to run the engine.
This build is being big red up for its design. It's different I agree, and very fancy. LOTS of money spent on it. However, look passed the gloss and the swensha bull. And see the actual WASTE of space!!!! He as not even managed to get a shower in!! And the Murphy bed in fact takes up room more than saves room!!! That complete side of the van is bed. It's fancy but not very good. Certainly not anything to get excited about. ALL those sacrifices for "supposedly" better stealth. When we all know, well those of us that live in vans. That if you park in the wrong area, it makes no difference how " stealthy' you THINK your van is. You get trouble or moved on. It as far to many negative points for me to even consider. The only thing I line about it is the skylight lol
@@Mrandy8895 I disagree about the Murphy bed. With it, his worktop can extend all the way to the back, and he still fits in a big comfy sofa back there as well. This design has the benefits of a normal convertible bed-sofa while making it much easier to switch between sitting and sleeping, literally flip the bed down or up, since the bedding is already in there. It also has all the amenities you need in a home except for the shower - toilet, fridge, kitchen, etc. I do agree with you that the obsession with being stealthy has gone too far for me personally, but if he's willing to make that sacrifice then that's up to him.
@@lorcro2000 yes totally up to him you are right. But it's being "promoted" as some kind of out of this world van.....And quiet frankly it is crap! I did not want to take this further, because the thing is in fact so crap. 1- Go to your local police station. Or better still mental hospital. Ask to be put in one of their isolation cells!!!! No wait sit in this van it's the same!!! We mentions winter, in winter a d ever just in inclement weather you spend a lot of time in the van!!! Or in this case a ISOLATION CELL. 2-Take a look at his cooker? Well that was well thought out wasn't it? Flaming cannot even stand in front of it! On it work surface is on its left! And it's at the very back of the van, so all the heat and condensation from cooking stays in the van. Or you have that fucking great hole in the roof open, which as NO EXTRACTION FAN!!! And good look cooking in the rain with it open. Very clever.......NOT 3-Then there is the sink.......at the OTHER END OF THE VAN!!!!!! Do you cook???? Have you designed your kitchen in such a way???? In fact have you ever seen a kitchen like that????? No! Why???? Because it's fucking STUPID!!! 4-Whats all the WASTED SPACE between the beautiful sink and the beautiful cooker with there beautiful covers!!!!! 5-No shower!! 6- Ready made bed, many many campers have pull down beds full size and do NOT stop you from having windows!!! Just with difficulty but not a long term enjoyable home. No the bloke does NOT know what he is doing.
Beautiful van build but I do have to say the price tag of $120K is a bit steep considering you can get a new Airstream class B for less...with a bathroom..generator...warranty...etc...etc..
Chris Reed kinda what i was thinking. it is absolutely beautiful. the efficiency and design are unparalleled. but if i had $120k to drop on a house, i would probably...well, drop it on a house. my favorite tiny house builder could make two houses, both with proper showers, lofts, laundry, thermal control, etc for that price, and i’d be able to rent one out. $120k for a single house for two people, no shower? not happening. again, this design is impeccable and i’d love to draw from it in the future, but. that’s so much money for a van.
Eric Yuan exactly! especially with so many other van build youtube videos and guides on the internet, i could build the entire thing myself, electric and all, for under $10k, and that’s using all my dream materials and design elements lol. the van itself, with some hunting, i could EASILY keep under $20k including labor and costs to correct any issues. $120k is so beyond unreasonable, as lovely as it is
@@sarahk.g.7861 Yeah quite the ripoff imo. Even a 4x4 Sprinter with the most luxurious build should cost less than $120 let alone a cheap Ram Promaster
I like the alternator recharging the batteries. Couple this with 2 gallon shower that constantly recycles (another video) and the radiant heat. Not crazy about the layout but the Murphy bed is excellent. Along with the window on top. He's got some excellent ideas.
I’ve been obsessed with van life for over a year now and have already watched so many videos of it but this van build remains the best and only choice for me for almost a year now.
This definitely puts "stealth" in "stealth van," I would absolutely use this approach when looking for/building one of my own in the future. Nothing out, no suspicion, just a nice little "business van" with everything concealed just right in plain sight. The only other thing I could ask for is a shower system, which I would have used part of the closet space for on the toilet side. Maybe something that comes down, so it's not an established part of the van. Other than that it's perfect, I would absolutely take this van. Edit: spelling error, extended on idea.
Jarrod, thank you for another great video. I'm not buying into this guy's authoritative statement that you can't live in a vehicle. Rather than argue the point, others should just consider alternative views. The fact that insurance companies offer policies for full time van dwellers is enough to give you some respite. Montana and a few other states allow you to setup LLC companies to avoid sales tax and have a legal mailing address with services provided by long established providers. In terms of build quality, this a very fine example. It's obvious that most of your viewers, including myself, prefer the shower option. Other features such as the heated floors are outstanding. I find the addition of the electric blanket very thoughtful. I still consider the bed position width vs length to be a better option especially when combined with your workshop layout.
Yes he really is giving out false information about the "Legalities" of it as he liked to term it....He can speak for maybe his location but it is far from illegal to live in a van or RV....Jarrod should insert a disclaimer about that false statement that guy made...he's confusing many want-to-be RV'rs and van dwellers out there...Tons of people live in vans and RV's all over...
@@chrisreed26 there is a lot of attention in the vandwelling community to be stealth and I assumed it is because of not wanting to get knocks on the door at night.
It’s beautiful. I love the clean design. I wish you d have shown the outside of the van to further the stealth aspect. The skylight with no windows to help with privacy and the bed are amazing!!!!!
Wow this might be the nicest stealth van I've ever seen. The interior is beautiful really nice craftsmanship I mean wow its nicer then my house lol and I gotta say I love the Murphy bed!!!
I’ve watched couple of his other van build tours and Iget what you’re saying but I think his mind is extremely calculated and he means no harm by it. Haven’t met him irl to get a better feel but the way his mind computes in other videos is really fascinating!
Absolutely brilliant. One of the best design, functional and beautiful van ever. Attention to details, or lack of (as pure lines) is perfect. To be able to conceal and re-invent the same space as a living room, a kitchen/dining room and a bedroom is crazy clever, Japanese style. Well done. Totally following.
I’ve been obsessed with the thought of van life for around a year now and this van conversion by “bucksd” is the best one I’ve seen so far even after so many months of viewing so many videos of stealth van conversion. It’s got everything I want; stealth, comfort, aesthetics, sufficient storage, energy sufficiency, security, and ability to host 5 to 6 people just to hangout. When I’ve saved enough, I will contact this guy Brandon and try to buy his plans for this build. Anyone got links to other videos that are better than this build with all the considerations I’ve mentioned? It’ll be much appreciated. Thanks.
love the van, but not a fan of having to put my bed down and up daily. but because this one you can keep all the bedding and cushions on it's the best one I've seen yet.
i keep coming back to this video. its still one of the most best builds i've ever seen. this time i was back to see if you mentioned the brand of the huge skylight, but unfortunately not. do you happen to know Jarrod? or one like it in that size?
That is the first van build I've seen that is stealth on the inside, too. LOVE that grass wall. I would have liked to see what the camera system looks like. I'd go nuts not being able to see my surroundings, but it is nice to just close the door and forget your surroundings, too.
It may be illegal to live in a vehicle where you are, but that's not the case everywhere. In Calif. AB-5 Homelessness. (2013-2014) Found that it was discriminatory and makes it legal. However, Cities can, and often do, have parking ordinances that must be followed. Same goes for Oregon and a some other states.
I agree with him though that that it is legally less controversial to establish a sole proprietorship and legally be allowed to do business in the van any hour of the day, as long as it does not look like a studio apartment.
@@colleenkaralee2280 I wonder if the police DO come, will they eventually have the right to lift or open shelves, etc and see that there is kitchen and bedroom, etc....???
WOW!!! I've seen a ton of van builds but this may be my favorite. Brilliantly thought out, beautiful to live in, and I love the electric system. I wish it had a little more floor space but other that, it's perfect! Definitely worth what it sold for.
Awesome van. Can’t say I agree with all the worry about legality. I built a stealth van as well and have yet to have any issues with the gestapo even when I park in residential areas. I actually built it in a business park next door to a police station and they never noticed me. I also manage all of my power needs with 220Ah of lead acid and 200w of solar despite stove, microwave, hot/cold running water, Espar heater, TV/DVD, shower, 84qt fridge/freezer, interior/exterior lights, and running 2 laptops all night for astrophotography. The lowest my batteries have ever gotten is 83%.
Probably not that complicated. My plan is to buy some t-slot aluminium and construct the bed frame (80/20 is probably the biggest supplier in the US) and after that all you need are some hinges and a support structure, which will (for me) also be t-slot aluminium bolted together and bolted to the van. A bed that size doesn't really require counterweights or complex mechanicals - but that said, I agree, I would have loved to see a build video of that bed.
From the way this vehicle is presented I get the feeling his skills lay mostly in design and not fabrication. It’s been my general opinion that when someone builds something themselves, no matter how crude or clumsy looking, they love to go on about the fabrication process, while someone who contracts everything out, is indifferent to the process and it wouldn’t occur to them to ever talk about it
Total black out !! i love that, can't sleep in while light is beaming in,such a perfect no fuss van,and even more stealthy than yours Jarrod, all he needs is a shower in the garage, with an internal entrance.

3:15 YES one of the most useful information about power consumption for van lifers. I had no idea you can run for that long (two weeks) on a two and a half hour drive charging with alternator.
Impressive! I would have liked a bit more info about how he set up his electrical system and where he got some of his products, like the screen door and sun roof.
The design is very clean which is nice. I do think that it's not a good design for people that go out for hiking/mountainbiking/snowboarding as you need more storage space and a spot to put your dirty items (bike, shoes, snowboard, wet clothes,..). I do think this design is nice just to travel around to visit cities, beach, walks, .. I saw the comments about a missing shower, but I think that's easy to fix. You hook up a shower head on your sink tap and you can shower outside. During colder days, you can easily take a tub inside or shower at the gym. Maybe he is already doing it that way. I like the bug screen at the door! I like the skylight as well, but I wonder during hot days if a fan is necessary to create low pressure (cooling).
Karl Chiasson I thought EXACTLY the same thing! How can I bake with an oven on the floor? Even if I keep the floor meticulously clean, it seems kinda. Also, crouching all the way down to take something out of the oven that is really hot is insanely awkward. And what about the venting for the heat? There is a sofa up above! I have a convex yo em just like that which I use nearly everyday. They get very hot, and that cannot be good for the wood on the sofa. Plus, I didn’t understand how to cook on that cooktop. There is the cushioned seat above. Are you supposed to cook seared. Awkwardly stretch over and constantly strain your back? The cooking situation alone would turn me off immediately.
If cooking is your main concern in your van then I suggest you go for a different planning. This one is perfect in the utilization of all space in the van and by perfect I mean absolute perfection.
Jarrod i love the videos you make and i love this van.. but still, can you find a few more stealth vans like this with no windows because realistically stealth living is the way forward and to be honest i would rather not everyone know that i am living in the van where ever i happen to be park, amazing van and keep up the good work ✌️
If you're financing the things you buy, and those things don't, or can't, generate money for you, you're already losing... Financing your primary home, and then considering it an asset, is a pretty delusional thing to do.
@@orange1872003 A house is an asset. You can depreciate in your taxes (A certain amount each year)--so you pay less on taxes year round. You can depreciate expenses paid on improvements to the house. Get financial incentives to own an actual home. Pass it over to kids without them needing to pay taxes on it later on. Use it as collateral for loans with better terms later on if you want to open a business or get something nicer. GOOD luck trying to do the same with a van. Going to try to depreciate a van that costs 120k? And have it fly over the IRS? There is a limit to how much can be deducted on a vehicle. Also, a banking institution will not take this as collateral for a loan of even 60k. So there is a lot wrong with what you said. I understand where you are coming from but... owning a home? Yeah. Thinking badly of it is folly. The biggest reason people end up millionaires is through real estate and building equity in homes and using said equity/leveraging it and expanding your real estate portfolio (plus renting it out). It is not van-lifes.
this is my dream home...... literally I would not change a single thing.. maybe just a pull out tap but everything else is perfect, right down to the aesthetic
That's all nice 'n stuff, but with that kind of space you could've comfortably put in there a full bathroom with a shower. I mean, cmon, it's a normal Fiat Ducato patform, there's plenty of campers wich make bettere use of space. Also, since there're no windows, at that price he could've put 360° surround cameras with a monitor.
I'm 74 and just now considering a van life. I'm impressed with the thought -thru planning. What van? How did you find a competent designer for a second alternator and the ohm-resistant wiring needed for a marine battery to charge?
this is one of the most thought out van layouts ive seen. Wouldnt it be cool if you had a camera project the outside onto one of the white walls as a sort of virtual window.
Wow! That’s one hell of a good looking van lifer 🤤😍 ...I mean van conversion😂. He is as good looking as the Hollywood stars and has the talent to build a tiny home on wheel. The best van conversion that I’ve learnt so far...
yes, and it resolved the annoying only two feet or less of laneway in a Class B, and that counter top could even be narrower in depth. I like a nice balance between open space and necessary furnishings and storage.
video cameras for Windows is the perfect idea that I'm doing when I build my van. mount camera outside and mount flat screen inside with real-time feed. perfect for stealth!
Oliver Gradwell actually yes it is. cameras these days are tiny and be mounted anywhere...for example on the dashboard of the van.... also compared to a huge window it is PERFECT
just an after thought... most vans have back-up cameras. for all someone knows it's a dash cam or back-up cam. i wish people used thier noggins before making comments...😂😂😂😂
I LOVE the skylight in lieu of any windows. That alone would cut my stress level by half. Of course, not knowing where I'd be taking my next shower and shampoo would raise the stress level back up, tho.
This was one of the first camper van videos i seen, all of which from your channel. Since then ive seen exclusively E350 extended, chevy 2500, Sprinter van camper conversions. Looks nothing like this. But this was still mindblowing when i saw it, had to come back.
I am impressed! Totally first class! I'm sure it sold lightning quick! Probably before this video posted. Love the screens, the sky light. And the Murphy bed.
Hey Jarrod!!! Just trying to get caught back up after the T-Giving holiday. That's a great design but I'm not sure that the price is justified. I didn't see anything there that would make me want to spend anywhere near that price. Someone that is not a minimalist MAY purchase it from him. Be careful out there and Thank you for sharing. ✌️
The best part was when he closed the door and there was complete silence after listening to all the loud background noise before. I really like this design!
Needs a shower, great ideas just no shower really torches it. Cost wise also you can get a much more luxurious rv for that price with air conditioning, full bath, full kitchen.
There's somewhat of a flaw in my opinion: the cook top is right next to the sofa, which won't do any harm if you don't cook too often. But if you cook at least once or twice every day it'll definitely make you clean these cuishons on a regular basis.
Holy shit this is amazing. I’ve never seen a setup with a Murphy bed that made any sense (unless toy hauling) but this is just, wow, amazing is all I can say.
I haven't seen many in van builds, but you may want to check out the Leisure Travel Vans Wonder model that has a queen-size Murphy bed in it. That's mindblowing. This right here is really outstanding for a van, but that LTV is... whoa. It has a dinette mounted to it that folds away like origami when you drop the bed.
I have the same feeling as this guy about windows in small spaces... You need the wall space for furniture or whatever and to not be forced to arrange it according to the windows. But sunlight is nice... but skylights aren't an option for most apartments. I like this build a lot, and I know we didn't see all the storage but the kitchen upper cabinets felt like they could be bigger. I would want an indoor shower, too, but this is a great van!
Thank you!! I'm working on selling my van and I'll be building the ultimate badass van (my opinion) so just wait for that. I will be working with Wes from land yacht and getting some input from Brandon for my next build. I think with my design knowledge, Brandon and Wes skills my next van will be second to none 😂 but will also cost me close to $20k....you'll see!
Do you have a playlist just for the bucksd builds? If not, could you please create one? This guy really knows what he's doing and his style really fits mine too. Would love to see all his builds in it's own list for future reference.
Wow...best one ever...!!!!!!!! Great light above...great table, sofa, Murphy bed... convenient, too...since the blankets stays on and cushion...wow... I guess people can shower at a gym daily..no biggie..
He mentioned self ( "sole") proprietorship to habitate a vehicle. Would it be even better to have an LLC? Is the technicality that you are legally bound, financially, to your business (LLCs are not) with SP? I'm curious about this.
Surprised Kirsten Dirksen, the woman who changed the game with tiny , sustainable living, hasn't found this guy. This is typically the type of design she spotlights.
This is a crash pad...not a tiny home. This is a place to sleep for a young, single tech dude in the silicon valley who has no girlfriend and a porn addiction (no windows for anyone to see in), who spends his days at Google or FB, showers there, eats his meals there, works out there. I'd be STUNNED if Dirksen were interested in this. I suppose anything is possible.
Incredible van, incredible office, incredible elegance, incredible man, very chic very solar. I love him and his van i buy twice 😉 Thank’s a lot a lot a lot for this sharing
Pretty cool, but have to wonder how somebody would use the induction stove? I can see grease spattering all over the upholstery, and are you supposed to kneel on top of the cushion to get at it? And then what about using the oven at floor level? For a guy whose claims to have lived in a van for five years I have to wonder how this would be comfortable? Maybe eats out a lot? I do love the overall look and feel, and I have plans to do a Murphy bed myself, although with the bed turned 90°. 48 inches is pretty narrow for two people. I like the idea of using the cabinet as well for part of the Murphy bed, and then using a trifold mattress. This was featured in another video Jarrod did. Lastly I'd probably move the fridge about 3 feet off the ground for easier access. Could possibly even attach the cabinet door to the refrigerator door to maintain the clean look he's got going on, but it would open the fridge at the same time? Lots of cool stuff going on here though. The overall look and feel is dynamite!
Seriously sweet van. In these van life videos, I see alot of people comment about the need for a shower. To stay clean between shower availability, just give yourself a sponge bath and you can wash your hair in the sink,if your hair needs to be washed that is. And I really appreciate the feng shui aspect. If it adheres to feng shui principles, I might put more mirrors on the walls to open up the space and for light reflection.
Need to build that as one big module that can be loaded as one piece straight in through the back, hooked up quickly and roll. I would buy a module right now if available.
I think Buck is a genius and find everything about him and his van, fascinating. All of you haters can go squat in a cucumber patch. You wish you had a fraction of the effulgence of this guy...
All these cool designs, and no place to take a shower. Being clean is my number one concern. When you are out in the country and there is no where to take a shower, do you just lay in your bed all dirty and smelly?
@@whiteoutwolf6131 That's just nasty. Just because you live in a van, doesn't mean you get any less dirty during a days work than anyone else. Then you go lay in your bed with all that filth on you?
Very clever.......NOT
3-Then there is the sink.......at the OTHER END OF THE VAN!!!!!!
I could go on and on........get over the Murphy bed and the super expensive batteries.
Apply some actual practical thought into IS IT FIT FOR PURPOSE???
🤤
@@sarahk.g.7861 U can build one yourself for around $5-6000 for a nice budget build, excluding the vehicle price ofc.
Merrill S what is the other video?
I’ve been obsessed with van life for over a year now and have already watched so many videos of it but this van build remains the best and only choice for me for almost a year now.
I keep watching this van build over and over again - so appropriate for van life.
I searched specifically for this van after getting out of the van life rabbit hole for a while.
Thank you! Some really good points. Much appreciated 🙏
It's amazing all the different options you see in vans. This one is a great example. Well thought out and perfect for his life style.
Wow this might be the nicest stealth van I've ever seen. The interior is beautiful really nice craftsmanship I mean wow its nicer then my house lol and I gotta say I love the Murphy bed!!!
Love this design, I want to like the guy, he’s got great sense for decor, but he kind of gives off this vibe of “I’m better than you” or something.
He is better than me
He’s good at what he does and he’s confident.
Wow! Love the clean cut design of office look. One of best I’ve ever seen! Thank you
i keep coming back to this video. its still one of the most best builds i've ever seen. this time i was back to see if you mentioned the brand of the huge skylight, but unfortunately not. do you happen to know Jarrod? or one like it in that size?
Last time I talked to him he mentioned that company discontinued that product
Definitely thee best van build seen yet, and I've seen quite a few. Love it.
This is the best stealth van I ever seen thanks for upload
That is the first van build I've seen that is stealth on the inside, too. LOVE that grass wall. I would have liked to see what the camera system looks like. I'd go nuts not being able to see my surroundings, but it is nice to just close the door and forget your surroundings, too.
Maybe chia for your grass wall? Oh, no, but you have to water it and trim it, aaaannd pet it.
WOW!!! I've always wanted windows in my van but that skylight just makes sense. Many thanks for sharing this build with us.
Definitely worth what it sold for.
i love how smoothly he pulled everything out
Awesome van.
Wish we could have seen how he set up the murphy bed. What hinges, etc. No hardware gets talked about in this video, and that's important.
This gentleman built out a very similar murphy bed, I feel like I could manage it myself: ruclips.net/video/5cnPGioJksw/видео.html
From the way this vehicle is presented I get the feeling his skills lay mostly in design and not fabrication. It’s been my general opinion that when someone builds something themselves, no matter how crude or clumsy looking, they love to go on about the fabrication process, while someone who contracts everything out, is indifferent to the process and it wouldn’t occur to them to ever talk about it
There are companies that sell murphy bed kits.
Total black out !! i love that, can't sleep in while light is beaming in,such a perfect no fuss van,and even more stealthy than yours Jarrod, all he needs is a shower in the garage, with an internal entrance.
I would like to know the info for the sunroof/window and screen he had on sliding door as I would like then for my van build. Thank you.
I think it might be a Tern overland roof hatch, but not certain. Would like to know for sure also.

I love this so much, when I'm ready for a van I'd definitely hit this guy up to design/build it!
WOW! I've been researching for years (yeah i know... i should just do it...) and it is to me the best design ever !! Love it!!
3:15 YES one of the most useful information about power consumption for van lifers. I had no idea you can run for that long (two weeks) on a two and a half hour drive charging with alternator.
I’ve had this saved in my “Watch Later” videos forever. Wish I would have watched it a long time ago. Wow! Incredible! Great job! ❤️❤️❤️
You could make a deep compartment under the couch accessible from the garage to store skis, snow boards, or surf board.
Did you see the back area? I feel like you could store a lot in there and double it up as a "mud room".
That van design is beautifully minimal, LOVE IT!
Ok, I know I have said this a dozen times already but this time i mean it. That’s the best design I have ever seen. It’s exactly what I want.
This is the best stealth van I've seen. Great ideas, especially the bed! Also great info re how to live legally in a van. Saving for future reference.
The van looks great and generally has a nice setup, but the ergonomics of cooking in this van seem kinda bad.
People got to complain about something. Don't they?
Having the stove top way over on the end seemed odd at first but it's pretty clever since he can stand in the middle to do the food prep.
@@davesworld7961 I agree that there is a lot of space because of it, but next time you do some cooking try adding a chair in front of your cook top.
BRAVO!!!
Welcome to the " The WALDORF ASTORIA".

Well that narrows it down to...Mr Rogers or Ted Bundy. 😄
Jarrod i love the videos you make and i love this van.. but still, can you find a few more stealth vans like this with no windows because realistically stealth living is the way forward and to be honest i would rather not everyone know that i am living in the van where ever i happen to be park, amazing van and keep up the good work ✌️
I rather buy a house for $120,000 instead a van. 🏡Van depreciation and house usually increase value in long run.🚃
I would buy a house, rent it out, and live in a van.
Where I live, there are no houses below 300k unless I want to drive 2-2 1/2 hours to work everyday
I mean if you can find a house for only 120k sure.
That is an awesome van! So stealth! Great layout and design! With a great Murphy bed!
Where is the water storage?
Best conversion I've seen to date, mad props to the ingenuity of the mad scientist at work here.
Am I missing something? Neither of these guys seem like they're high on anything. What is going on with these comments?
this is my dream home...... literally I would not change a single thing.. maybe just a pull out tap but everything else is perfect, right down to the aesthetic
Right,. And just store close in sofa, most lift up to store stuff..
Wow. This is what I'm talking about. I don't even care thats its ultra stealthy, just love the aesthetic. So peaceful and clutter free.
I'm 74 and just now considering a van life. I'm impressed with the thought -thru planning. What van? How did you find a competent designer for a second alternator and the ohm-resistant wiring needed for a marine battery to charge?
Its a lithium battery setup. Why the 2nd alternator...it feeds a current that's not 12V/DC so as to charge quicker & keep the battery healthy.
this is one of the most thought out van layouts ive seen.
I Gotta say that there are some really good ideas in this van. Love the grass wall and skylight, and the whole idea of hiding the stove and sink.
The most logical van built. You don't need the bed open.whole day wasting precious space.
yes, and it resolved the annoying only two feet or less of laneway in a Class B, and that counter top could even be narrower in depth. I like a nice balance between open space and necessary furnishings and storage.
This is insane! So much of the thought behind this build makes sense!
Exceptional is the right word. Though I do greatly appreciate my shower.
Ok. I’m gonna say it. Seen 100’s of van builds at this point. This is my favorite! Brav-the-fuck-O man, crazy smart design
video cameras for Windows is the perfect idea that I'm doing when I build my van. mount camera outside and mount flat screen inside with real-time feed. perfect for stealth!
A camera on the outside is perfect for stealth? lol
I wish he had shown us the way he uses the cameras.
Oliver Gradwell actually yes it is. cameras these days are tiny and be mounted anywhere...for example on the dashboard of the van.... also compared to a huge window it is PERFECT
anyone else want to back me up on this? I guess this guy has never seen a hidden camera show or anything else that has a hidden camera...
just an after thought... most vans have back-up cameras. for all someone knows it's a dash cam or back-up cam. i wish people used thier noggins before making comments...😂😂😂😂
I LOVE the skylight in lieu of any windows. That alone would cut my stress level by half. Of course, not knowing where I'd be taking my next shower and shampoo would raise the stress level back up, tho.
Wow, as a single person I would love a narrower bed that I could walk by on the side, but wow!
Yes, I've discovered I can sleep very well on a max 30 inch wide bed as a single person .... I just want a very good mattress system.
This was one of the first camper van videos i seen, all of which from your channel. Since then ive seen exclusively E350 extended, chevy 2500, Sprinter van camper conversions. Looks nothing like this. But this was still mindblowing when i saw it, had to come back.
I guess if you want a view you can mount a camera outside and use a tv for a faux window.
Yep. The new First Class suite on Emirates has fake airplane windows that show the outside of the plane instead of your snoring neighbor.
Very very nice .. love the bed, corner sofa.. but the grass wall is awesome.. brings a little green inside .. The skylight is a keeper!!
Loving the screen door. Do you have a link for it?
120k? Crazy. Nice but you can buy land and build a tiny home. And still have something left. For people with money who likes toys
Dude!! You have to buy this van. Between this van and the land yacht you showed us you hands down have the best van build videos.
Feng Shui :) How to have 3 rooms in one - yet separate. Very nice design.
Do you have a playlist just for the bucksd builds? If not, could you please create one? This guy really knows what he's doing and his style really fits mine too. Would love to see all his builds in it's own list for future reference.
Favorite Van build EVER!
Wow...best one ever...!!!!!!!! Great light above...great table, sofa, Murphy bed... convenient, too...since the blankets stays on and cushion...wow... I guess people can shower at a gym daily..no biggie..
Impressive van... not my style, but I do like the murphy bed...interesting.

👍I absolutely love this van set up Thanks for sharing. 💞
REBELutionary1 love her
He doesn't deserve her.
@@Revealthereal_
Lol dude why?
REBELutionary1 right?! I subscribe to her before anyone else in tiny and vehicle living. I enjoy Bob, on CheapRVliving, too.
I love him and his van i buy twice 😉
Thank’s a lot a lot a lot for this sharing
Cleanest build I've ever seen. Amazing!
My partner takes up to 3 showers a day and at least two esp if he is running around all over the place, so thats not gonna fly haha
Need to build that as one big module that can be loaded as one piece straight in through the back, hooked up quickly and roll. I would buy a module right now if available.
The module would have to be customized for each type of vehicle.
I Googled "Buck's D" like you asked. Mom says I can't internet no more.
I love the grass wall. He should trademark that idea!!!
I think Buck is a genius and find everything about him and his van, fascinating. All of you haters can go squat in a cucumber patch. You wish you had a fraction of the effulgence of this guy...
New word of the day, seriously, thanks!
The way he dropped that info and then the badassness pop of the living facility. Tight video
All these cool designs, and no place to take a shower. Being clean is my number one concern. When you are out in the country and there is no where to take a shower, do you just lay in your bed all dirty and smelly?
Well if you can't handle going one or 2 days without a shower you shouldnt even try vanlife
Mountainman I am pretty sure he has 24hr fitness, and outdoor shower
@@whiteoutwolf6131 That's just nasty. Just because you live in a van, doesn't mean you get any less dirty during a days work than anyone else. Then you go lay in your bed with all that filth on you? I guess some people are just more nasty than others. I guess you don't mind not washing your hands after taking a shit either, huh? I have lived off grid in a tiny house, running a homestead for nearly three years. I still wash my ass every night. Living the van life doesn't give an excuse to be dirty.
@@alialrashidi1764 When you are traveling places, or at times when you are no where near one of these facilities, you still need a shower. No one wants to rely on a chance that there may or may not be some gym near by. What happens when you are out in the woods boondocking for days on end?
@@alialrashidi1764 Also, there are many times that you can't use an outdoor shower. You going to shower outside in someone's neighborhood? Good way to go to jail. You going to shower outside while it's poring rain, or below freezing? Yeah, no thanks.
