Slash rarely does these type of interviews and these guys won’t let him talk. Slash has made so much money for Gibson and even he bought a Gibson clone that became his appetite guitar.
It was actually given to him by then GnR manager Alan Niven, but close! \m/ Fun Fact: I recently completed putting together a Les Paul copy of his original Les Paul copy haha
Gibson really needs to rethink the hosts of this series. I love the concept and it’s great to see interviews of our heroes that play Gibsons but these two hosts are unbearable to watch. Let the guest speak and finish their points. This same thing happened on the Elliot Easton interview. It’s embarrassing.
Awesome interviewer! Asks Slash a question, then as soon as Slash tries to answer he starts talking over the top of him. Why ask if you're not going to let him answer?
Slash was a gentlemen throughout but truly an unbearable listening experience. From an interviewing perspective. Lots of work to be done considering the opportunity they had
I saw Slash sit in and jam with Buddy Guy at Legends in Chicago, back in '95. Laying down some serious blues guitar in a pretty small club, for a Jimi birthday tribute, and of course, Buddy was having a blast. There were so many greats in that room that night. I'll never forget it.
It took me 4 tries to get through the whole thing. These clowns don’t let up. I want to hear the artist speak. Especially Slash. Sucks that we have to wait till mid February to get the cd. Yes, I still buy cd’s.
I like to hear Slash talking about his life and career. I like to hear Slash play Guitar even messing about unplugged. I get it I would be very excited in conversation with a hero of mine too. Tweaking the boundaries on this show wouldn't hurt fellas. I know you can do it after all your hearts are in it. 😎
I agree with the general consensus here, slash is an extremely intriguing, well spoken man and feel wasnt given an opportunity whatsoever here to speak. A real shame because I was looking forward to this. I mean for guys that are in the industry they should know how to read the room better he was clearly not content with how the overwhelming dynamic was.
Slash is truly a cool legendary guitarist. He knows he is famous, but never acts like one. He still a soft spoken man who likes to talk and play music. I always enjoy watching his interview. My dream is watching Petrucci and Slash talking music and guitar.
Dude I live slash’s guitar playing, he’s probably my favorite living lead guitarist along with Craig Ross, and Jimmy Page. Good story, it turns out John Petrucci wife is also a guitar player in a Rock band called “Judas Priestess”, and I talked to her after a gig at the Hard Rock Cafe in Myrtle Beach, and she got a call from her husband John about what kind of tampons to buy for their daughter. True crazy story and real life shit for a Rock virtuoso guitarist.
I never liked GNR, thought they were tacky, but in my more mature years I’m actually learning guitar properly (instead of being a grunge head) and I appreciate it all much more. He also seems like a nice laid back guy. Great interview. I actually didn’t mind the hosts talking a lot.
Jeff was awkward as fuck in this interview! Screaming most of the time, and I think Slash was tuning him out for most of the interview and focusing on Jimmy, who wasn't yelling everything. I love Jeff usually but he was really off with Slash.
This should be called “ Slash attempts to make conversation while two guys reminisce about their music days”….. this just proves how nice a dude Slash is…. just sits patiently and on each sentence he speaks they talk over him and he just accepts it…. we would have understood if he’d just given up and thought what’s the point….. disaster of ( can’t call it an interview) , could have been an opportunity to get some cool insights from Slash….. just shut up you two!!!!! Why have people on? Just leave it with you two if you’re going to ignore the guest.
I totally understand how that dude got fired from his show. I've spent 5 minutes watching him and wanted to throw him down the hallway. Shut up, mate - we are here for Slash.
Awesome to see Slash in good shape and still doing the damn thing man. Fk'n legend of music, and STILL makes me want to pick up the guitar and play every time I hear him.
Man,2:42 in and I cant stand these hosts.Completely all over the place.dosen't let guest give his 10 cents on any subject, just 3 voices talking over eachother.
Just watched this for the second time, one year later. It is a lot better. They are all talking all over each other it seemed like they were interrupting Slash too much but they all seem good with it. Its like a comedy talk show. I give it 3.5 stars. They covered a lot of stuff in 30 min.
This is awesome, I f*kin love Slash, thanks Gibson for all what you are doing now, this kind of interviews gives you the feel that you are close to them. Keep em coming! Great job Gibson
New subscriber. Only thing that I agree with that someone else already said. Let slash speak. Yes interjection happens with interviews it's part of the territory. I'm just noticing a question gets asked and it's 20 questions before he gets the first word. Other than that just a fan of backstories especially ones with music. 🤘🎩
Imagine having Slash on as the guest and he literally has to start raising his voice and waiting for a chance to speak at one point. I turned it off at that point. It’s really easy, when Slash or any guest is speaking, you wait until they finish what they are saying before you talk. Wankers.
Oh MAAAN, will you guys please shut up and let Slash speak?!! We're here for him. Sure, ask as many questions as you want but Slash should be the focus here, not the presenters🙈

Yes. But after few minutes i think i want a Slash signatured Seymour Duncan P-rails set to my LP. If the coil split done with a resistor as PRS do, the noise cancelling is done.

That's what I thought lol
Yeah! The guy with the guitar kept speaking over Slash! Missed who they were talking, a singer that worked with George Benson and her daughter?

No wonder he's lost the weight! Acting like he's drinking amphetamine milkshakes! Let Slash friggin' speak!

Pretty annoying I must admit!!
Almost as bad as hiring Slash and telling him to do Django lol
How did slash not lose his shit over these guys interrupting him everytime he speaks
whos the dude in to the right of slash?!!! geez is he the star? i hit this video to listen to what slash had to say!
