I haven't yet figured out a way to shake-off my fears, but I have learned how to stop the negative thoughts. As soon as satan puts a negative thought in my mind, I immediately replace it with a good, positive thought. It really works! Since I have been doing this, ole satan doesn't mess with me much in this area, cause I figured out a way to put a stop to it!
B J amen, the only way to concur it’s by knowing who your enemy is. I do the same you do but I love adding and this is what I tell the enemy. “ you remind me of my failures and my past but let me remind you of your future and that is death because Jesus wins and you lose!!!
The Bible says to have no fear, God is always with us. Have no fear is mentioned many times, refer to those scriptures. For some reason those scriptures stood out to me as a young person. My Dad never understood why I did not fear anything on this earth. Fear is only a feeling, danger is a real situation.

Someone commented that the book Pastor Jimmy was talking about in this video may be ‘Christian Meditation’ by Dr Edmund P. Clowney. This is correctt! 🙌🏼 If you do a bit of digging online, you’ll find out that Dr Edmund was once a seminary president (Westminster Theological Seminary), as Pastor Jimmy mentions in this video. As well, Pastor Jimmy said it was a “little book”, and this one is around 100 pages, which I think could be considered as a little book. Hope that helps anyone who’s still interested 6 years later! Amen! but it was a little different for me in how I needed deliverance from a demon... I couldn't stop a couple of things and one of the problems was alcoholism. and after asking GOD for help in this and repenting of this, God's Presence came and I heard that spirit of alcoholism leave from off me with a bloodcurling scream...

ive been in terrible situations and begged god to release me from the same thing as you. why didnt anything run screaming from me? im 6years into chasing after this relief. i went through 2 years of schooling to join the catholic church. got baptised, , went through all the classes , cerimonies, prayers, blessings, got married to my now husband who is catholic, jumped through hoop after hoop after hoop- you name it im doing and have done it and i feel further from god than ive ever been. nothings ever run screaming from me. in fact, i went from having a slight dependancy on a substance into a god forsaken hell of a life of abuse- of being abused daily...and where EVERYONE KNOWS... knows- sees- and looks the other way. im literally abused, and STILL not even relieved of my substance issue i had in the begining. ...and let me tell you. its people like you who throw around so casually these flashy "experiences" as if they are actually real who fool good kind loving ( admittedly neive ) but desperate people like me into a world of evil when we are just looking for a real solution. i needed a solution, now i need saved. this life ive gotten sucked into over the last 6 years will destroy me mark my words...since divorce is so taboo, my husband will injure or kill me before i get out of this alright..and the church knows me and my 5 kids are abused by him- but at least we are married right? yeah thanks god.

Lust destroyed my marriage of 20 years. 😢 My ex just couldn't stop and he loved the Lord. He was so engulfed in porn and women. My self esteem is gone. It's been gone and has destroyed relationships I've tried to have since. That was 23 years ago. I wish I could talk to this man.

Hello sister, I am sorry you had to endure that amount of pain from your husband. I want to encourage you by first saying, there is heavy concern to question your ex husband’s salvation. The Bible says if you love me, you will keep my commands. Not perfectly, but the fruit is evident overall in our life that we are truly born again. I don’t know your involvement with your church, but I strongly encourage that you get plugged into the most biblical church you can find. And get well acquainted with the elders and brothers and sisters in the church. Weekly Bible studies are a really good way to do that and be under the teaching/washing of the word. I encourage that you seek Godly council there and share what has happened, because that is damaging in the life of a believer. What your ex husband did requires serious repentance on his part and it hurt you the most. Scripture makes clear the Lord abhors adultery, so again I am sorry dear sister. I pray you will receive this with love, and if you haven’t already, please find your way to a biblical church. God bless you sister

Actually, I believe Pastor Jimmy was referring to a book called ‘Christian Meditation’ by Edmund P. Clowney. Pastor Jimmy said this man was a seminary president, and Edmund P. Clowney was once the seminary president for Westminster Theological Seminary. Dr. Edmund’s book was first published in 1979. There’s another book called ‘The Lost Art of Biblical Meditation’ by Robert J Morgan, but I couldn’t find anywhere online that he is/was a seminary president, and his book wasn’t published until 2017, the same year that this video was uploaded to RUclips. Anyways, hopefully that helps. God bless. 😊

Christine - there is specialized counseling for that. Get tested by a CSAT and at least go to a couple of appointments. It has to be a CSAT not a general counselor. There is hope and healing but most people make the mistake of getting general help from a “nice person”.

Pornography Addiction is not healed in 2 day. It can be quit and you start your sobriety from it but it is neurological, chemical, emotional and usually, not always but usually, a sign of something deeper from your past.
It requires specialized help from a CSAT to guide you thru sobriety -> recovery -> mastery.
Deliverance ministry is needed! Break those strongholds off of you. I’m willing to bet you have a soul spouse as well. My hubs was addicted to porn for over 40 years. It’s a heinous spirit that needs deliverance. I pray you get free!🙌🏻🔥
