Yes! Took 3 hours to leave the Rose Bowl!! Got to work at 3 am!! Had a call time of 11pm...fired on Oct 25th by Fred Merkel....he was the boss of engineering at Premiere Radio Networks....

@@williamrobertg1 I think they're taking a break after the Songs of Experience tour. It was my first time seeing them in person last year, unfortunately they nixed all the Joshua Tree songs from that tour.
I'm sure they'll have one big blowout tour before retirement.

This song represents the reason why U2 fans love U2 live performances. They take their songs out of their metallic cages, and let them fly high.
Nicolas Vanhove to be fair this is a rendition of a remix of the original song that a techno producer made. They are sort of covering a remix of their own song but it is still quite spectacular and creative
Very very creative. The reason U2 has been around so long is because they are constantly reinventing themselves. A lot of bands from the 80s have been unable to do that and instead of finding continued success 30 years later, have ended up playing greatest hits tours. Long live U2!

This tour was incredible and this song live in person was insanely awesome. Unfortunately none of this tour was ever able to be captured on film in a way that even remotley does it justice.
Although I somehow agree with you, I like the Rose-Bowl DVD, I'd like you to detail your opinion...If you have the time ....
m3cfister well the video doesn't capture the energy or atmopshere of the crowd nor does it capture the full effect of the music as when you are there live. The 360 tour as a whole outof all their tour dvd's captures the the true awsomeness of a live U2 show the least. In my opinion it wasn't conducive to being put on film. The sheer scale of it alone was always going to be impossible to translate onto film. You don't get that overwhelming feeling because on film it feels small. In person the stage alone blows you away. You can't capture that on film and this song in particular when it hits it's climax is not even remotely close on film as it was in person.

I believe and understand what you are saying....Well...You know..maybe it really is impossible to translate that feeling on film and the sheer scale of it....It's always going to be totally different and better when you experience it in person !!! The two situations Dvd and being there in Person are two totally different things....Of course, I too, would prefer being there in person...

U2 is my oldest love in music. Bono's voice, Edge's great sound and guitar playing and the solid and original spine of the band with Larry and Adam who are always forgotten... I was at this concert at the Rose Bowl. I have to say when they played Anaheim about 10 months later on the same tour, they were actually much better. People were going nuts dancing in aisles.
Big fan for a long time, there are a few bands who are better live dan on cd. U2 is the Greatest live band ever.

Always love the moment at 2:39 where Adam knows Edge isn't paying attention and raises his bass' neck up so Edge doesn't hit it. Edge's reaction afterwards grabbing his beanie in the realization he almost got his head taken off is too funny.
