Hello, I had the same problem with the keeper. I rolled the strap up a little bit, fixed it und put it for 60 seconds in very hot water. Afterwards the end of the strap had a perfect position.
i fix the issue with the strap running out with a small piece of 3M velcro runing inside the strap. i copied the idea from the modern straps with velcro. not a perfect solution but works for me.
No when it gets low enough it will power off completely. You should be able to sit it outside in direct sun (careful that it is a day when it doesn't get too hot), the battery should eventually charge back up and the watch will turn back on. If after a day or 2 of trying this is does not work I would contact Casio. Your solar panel or battery cell might be bad (but that is pretty rare on these Casio watches)
Do not like those watchbands which won't lay flat when working on settings or can't be used in a typical watch display case. In addition the watch bands cannot easily be swapped out for NATO/Zulu style bands.

Does the bezel rotate? It’s nice seeing the azimuth on the screen, but I’m used to using a compass with bezel
No this one is a fixed bezel.
Hi. Can the battery go so low, it can't re-charge?

Can the strap be changed? Is it attached by spring bars?
Yes you can change the strap. It has spring bars.
