Wow man, thanks! That's works also on a GW-9400 Rangeman. But the main problem is I don't know if default measures are de facto true or not, 'cause my phone's sensor and online maps show ~370 meters while my watch is showing ~330. So I don't know where is the truth

thanks had a new battery put in and annoyingly it was set to chime hourly turned off based on you short video. my watch is the iron man triathlon different to the one in your video hope this helps others

It actually show you with the RC indicator if it get the signal last time it tried. If signal is there on main screen it means it successfully get sigznl last time it tried.

Is there way to look back and see what battery precentage you had left AFTER an activity ?? Ive a 100k coming up. Im just not sure if the battery will last. I did 63km a few months ago, the battery lasted but not sure how much i had left. The 100km race will take about 15- 16hrs. Would it last that long on the 955???

I followed your directions but it did not work as in the video. After hitting go, the map did not appear, just the word navigate. It does have a green check mark at top next to "GPS." If I hit start, a timer appeared but no way to navigate, as such.

You do not say how to actually exit an activity. I am in "walk" and now cannot get out of it. Others have reported this problem as well. Pressing bottom right does not exit it, whether I hold or do a quick press.

question. i just received the same watch new. I cannot tell if there is a plastic protector over the screen. I tried picking lightly the corners with my finger tip but to no avail. The first step in the Quick Guide shows to remove a screen protector? Any insight in this is appreciated. Love your videos on the watch. Thank you.

Question: Will the watch stay in world time mode? Like will the watch display both world and home times all the time? Or do I have to press the mode button several times to return to world time mode?

The beauty of these watches is that you can set all these things on the app for the watch

If we are going to turn off all the smart features on the watch, why should we pay so much for this watch? If we want to use all the features, why does the battery run out in 2 days? Let me answer for you. It's not smart to pay so much for this watch. 👎

Pressing and holding is not working

My time is off by several minutes. Thought maybe I turned atomic off. Followed your video and last time it got atomic signal was August 23rd of an unknown year. Lol. Do I need to set this watch near a window or something so that it can get the signal again? I got it as a gift about 10 years ago and I didn't even know it had atomic clock in it 😂😂

Casio was so close with the prw-2500. If they just would have put sunrise sunset data on that watch all my ocd needs would have been fulfilled. Now all the current protreks have lost the moonphase and other charm but include the sunrise sunset data so here I am researching Garmin. Thank you for speaking about the “non smart” operation of this watch. You answered every question and your setup with moon phase, baro, and sunrise sunset on the main screen is the exact set up I was curious about! Very hard to find info.

Did you notice the day of the week is not displaying in the digital section. Yours has a squiggly line. It should display the two char for the day, such as SU, MO, TU, etc. Mine is exactly the same but was working correctly until recently. Do you have any idea of the cause and/or the fix? Thank you!

i was wondering does the garmin instinct 2 have in it's moon phase widget the moon age like it does on this casio and most casio's that have moon/tide info? you might be surprised by the question but i have yet to find an answer

Thanks for this video, really cool to see them both in action. Not that half a second really matters to me but, did you find a way to determine which one is more correct? Coincidentally I daily wear either an Instinct 2X or this same Mudman GW-9010, but in my case the Casio runs about a half a second ahead (which is in sync with my phone). Anyway, that's accurate enough for me for sure haha.
