I rode 30 miles to hopefully help a good friend save his house. By the time I got there the LAFD was aggressively fighting the fire just across from Gelson's in Palisades Village. I was barley a 1/4 mile from him property on Alcima Ave just above Palisades High. This footage starts with me in the parking lot of Gelson's getting my route dialed to try and make it to Alcima Ave. I was going to take a local back route Radcliffe to Bowdoin to El Medio to Alcima, but the fire had other plans. The palm trees on fire are located at N Swarthmore Ave. and De Pauw St.
