Angie, thank you soo much. I 100% agree with you. The point is not spanking to injur but spanking to discipline. Which means do it privately not to bring shame to the child, do it only when necessary, do it with the reason clearly stated to the child, mention the number of spanks so that you as a parent remains in control of yourself while spanking the child and come out with your child happily, ready to move onto the next chapter. Lastly me as a Christian, I always show my boys the scripture that tells the children to obey their parents alongside the spare the rod and spoil the child verse. We do a study and it has helped alot.
Can we take a moment to talk about how the ladies are looking gorgeous and glowing. You ladies are hot mama's, your husbands are truly blessed. Anyway love, love, love the show❤all the way from South Africa
Yes I do. God laid in on my heart that we are raising a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession made for signs and wonders........
I have a three year old who doesn't obey that easily. She will do what she wants, and she will fight for it. But it has recently become tricky, she disturbs the girl who helps wanting to destroy everything and also touching very dangerous things like lighting a matchbox wanting to light the gas, plugging things chargers in electricity, this is a point where iam really spanking and very very hard, what puzzles me is that she knows exactly she is doing wrong things and apologises when you ignore her promises to not do it again but does again 😞. This show has been helpful, when I read the topic I was like aahaaa, work aside, let me listen. Thanks alot
Beating should be a small reminder of the words shared and repeated before❤. I wasn't an obedient child but I still hear the words that changed me into my ears. Now am above 25yrs.
My daughter is four and six months she listens but hates being interrupted very organized than even me😂😂😂 like she knows her time table and she follows. She knows from school to bathing having something to eat as she watches as her cartoons immediately i reach home she will be ready with her bag to help her with homework.after that she will be ready for anything that comes
I think Claire from the unpopular Opinion Uganda said she suffers from the same. She is a teacher, so she might know how to advise you on how to go about it.
Angie, my 11year old daughter is struggling with dyslexia. It's an encouragement hearing that your son is graduating with an honours. I would be glad to hear the detailed story of how you handled
Google and educate yourself dear. All this information is on the internet. Things like getting them books that have yellow paper instead of white. Getting a coloured piece of plastic transparent paper to go over the printed work for better reading. There are apps that can read text for them. So many resources out there
My nephew too,but he's the smartest child ever and he does well in sciences because it doesn't require too much writing and reading but when it comes to social studies and English he's given more time to read out loud even when he's classmates are hearing him in an exam but he's fine yours will be fine too.
@@Mercellina-si3zp actually my girl struggles with English and SST. Yet she knows the things perfectly verbally. Misses words while writing/copying, confuses 9 and p, b and d...I used to be tough on her but when I realized the problem, I look at effort vs performance. Unfortunately, I am the only one who understands this thing. This condition really affects the self esteem of the child. Teachers make it worse with their comments
Obedience is a good topic; I think I understand Angie on mental health ''speaking negative things into a child because they are defiant, I remember adults that would verbally abuse their children like they are stupid, you will never amount to anything if you can not follow simple instructions, etc.'' Those are adults now with very low self-esteem mostly. Character checks and development are crucial. Personally, I go for heart-to-heart talks and treat them like they understand. I teach, give guidance and also explain consequences so the choice is theirs.
Thanks for the show. Quick feedback for the production team - the sound quality for the show needs some fine tuning (takes a while to draw in the audio from one person to another). Would be nice to have seamless audio experience. (This applies to all the episodes by the way) Otherwise great show. Thank you!
Ladies, i love your wisdom. I was trying indeed to create perfect kids until i realized that my kids would grow to hate me because of the authoritative way, i dropped it. Now we are getting better. I listen, suggest, unless u go beyond all warnings, then God helps

Totally loved the show. I like that character has alot that it does on a child's way of obedience. Each child has a genre. Some children are managed and others are guided. Thanks ladies.
The best way to make children understand why it’s important to “listen to you”, is by creating a relationship at eye level( & NO, you will not lose their respect because they know that you are the adult). Communicate clearly, make the children understand why they should do what you require of them, how it affects them, you, and everyone around them. Plus, always offer them the possibility to air their sentiments and that there is always room for their opinions ( believe me, you will learn a thing or two from your kids ). Do not be a BOSS, be a parent, and parenting will get easier. NB:It breaks my heart to see that young intelligent mothers are even comfortable with SPANKING!!😢😢 Child abuse should stop with us ! I will gladly offer a free consultation to any mums here that need guidance on intentional parenting. Let’s protect, love, be the safe space and raise undamaged humans. This video has made me really sad 😢
I was following your advice until the child abuse statement. Spanking a child with love to help grow into good citizens is different from coporal punishments like the ones teachers used to use back in the 90's. Unless a parent is injuring a child, there's no problem with sparing the rod. It's not for everyone, every parent should parent the way they see fit without being judged.
@RUZHOFFS, I think you are being melodramatic. As a highly learned and educated mother, I am a strong believer that every parent is an expert on what works for their child(ren). It's beneficial for parents to be informed on substantial science, but it's hammy you claiming, "it breaks my heart to see young intelligent mothers are comfortable with spanking. Child abuse should stop with us". Stop the RIDICULOUSNESS!! I don't see anything triggering your sadness. Manuela, Rachel, Angie and Rossette aren't abusing their children. If my child after several clear conversations and warnings continues to be willfully defiant of authority, I'll sapiently spank them. If that's what you term abuse, then be it. Our children need our love, wisdom, authoritative guidance, and correction. Prudent spanking isn't abuse as you claim, but excessive corporal punishment is. If you're a Christian Please read Hebrews 12.
Well, I respect all your views, but child abuse is child abuse( whether it’s mild, or “spare the rod”, ), it still doesn’t make it right. And all your reactions are because of exactly what I said( spanked children grow into SPANKING ADULTS)!! A very unfortunate, never ending cycle 🤷♂️🥲
I was that obedient and push over child. But I thank God that my child is the total opposite of me. Because I’m suffering in my adulthood and no body seems to listen to me. Everybody thinks I’m ok with everything yet I’m not. It’s too painful
One thing we forget that we were in those stages so we pretend to be perfect now as we discipline our kids but remember they also have to go through what we used to do so it's a matter of understanding and asking God for Wisdom as we bring up our mini us
What my grandmother used to do was she would also explain why it's important to do something a certain way... For instance, why you need to wash the glasses and cups before the plates and why saucepans should come last, or why when mopping, you need to mop from corner to corner. For an adult, those things may sound obvious but to a child, they are not.
Thanks bump love. Listening to children is good not losing the child as leave out the stick . We have to help them not be people pleasing they will regret it later
Micah reminiscing abt Tom and Jerry and bursting out laughing reminded me of oneday at campus year 2 when I was in class and all of a sudden I also remembered sth and laughed only to be singled out by the lecturer who told me she would throw me out of her class and never to return to it again.I was seriously shaken and since then I know wat this reminiscing thing can do to a person 😂😂
This topic left me speechless because im struggling with my 3's in different ways but i have learnt not to raise my voice on them while talking especially when mad, they reply using the same tone thinking that its ok,but when i lower my tone look them into the eyes and talk they understand more and apologise we hug and everything ends their. I stop spanking at around 4years after that i believe they understand more than we think talking has helped but men the struggle is real i some times hate the fact that they are real mini me😂 they should do better though," in pumlas voice"
Wooooh this is exciting and mind blowing. I love love love this topic, mine is 8months but she can shoe me that she isn't okay with some characters 😂. God guide me as I raise your woman of God
Hullo, Thank you for all your work, Now aim a mother of 1 daughter,7yrs and 6 month now and she is in primary two. Now my challenge with her is that, "She lacks concentration" both at home and at school, At school since primary one the teachers would tell me that if this girl of yours would concentrate she would be a very bright girl, though she performs but her poor concentration is making her not get the real marks that i expect and what the school expect from her she does not concentrate in whatever she is doing either home work, class work, she just i would say does things/tasks to finish so that she can go to the next task. so this is affecting me quietly because i have always prayed to God to give me intelligent child which i believe she is if only she could develop concentration in whatever she would be doing. so kindly guide me how i can handle this as a mother. Thank you.
There’s been research that has shown children/people have different learning styles whilst some kids are good at being still for long, others struggle in search environments. Most creatives for example can’t be still for long. Observe your children and look at what learning style would be best for her. Visual learning, Audio learning, kinaesthetic and logic. All the best.
Hi Manuela for me growing up my brother was the most obedient later on I asked him why he’d do everything and he said he doesn’t want our mom to nag him. He said that he had chosen peace and didn’t want to hear her voice all the time and truly my mom never a word to him this was from like 7 years when he decided to choose peace😂 so even today he is 20 and still lives at home but he does his chores and keeps quiet like do not disturb him with your noise Maybe Blake has chosen peace and not necessarily that he is a pushover
Great conversation ladies, thanks for sharing your experiences, my ka 6year old is obedient on his terms hehe when he was younger I really used to do physical alot till he asked me to stop it,and also stop shouting at him,it's been close to 3years now and our only mode is talk through so I have to always be conscious of my reactions towards his behavior so I keep the peace between us.
Ladies you all look beautiful, Bice outfits and nice topic .Obedience wasn't such an issue for me growing up but..yes I got some kiboko and ear pulling..
Growing up, my mum was a tough kinda mum, with both spanking and verbal punishment, i never liked it at all. So i have tried to be a different parent to my son. I pray that God helps me out with it. The spanking is there here and there but we talk and am proud to say that he does some things that a typical 3yr old can't do.
Hello bump love thanks for the show today I really appreciate but I would like us to touch more about people's personalities thus temperaments in detail, mob love bump love🙏
This has been so educative. i do not have a child of my own but i have raised my nephew from 3 years and he is making 8 in september but eeeehhhh Amani is a rollercoaster!!!!!! i love him but i spank him for bad behavior after several warnings. Boys are something else eeeeh
Angie reminds of how my mum used to smack us then she gives you porridge to eat , while eating she will talk to you . Honestly those nurturing words ( always stayed with us , we knew our mistakes and we never repeated that mistake . Secondly ,yes words affect children especially when parents say so and so ‘s child is more disciplined gwe dnt you admire them .

Me n sis, our duty was to do laundry. I wash with soap, she rinses. One day i was busy on tv, she went and rinsed them dirty cloths😂😂 and said, me I have done my part😂😂 my mum changed how she parented us😂😂 children are very different 🙌🏿
Amazing topic ladies, sometimes when I repeat my self several times it feels like am failing as a mum as in why can't they do wat I tell them? Thank you Rachel I will not tire from repeating bse man just when I thought Manuela was good she still has challenges despite her very organised life hweeee. BREATH
@@manuelap.mulondo am in that bracket too of 9,7,2 and a few months but ofcs now the one of two is doing copy and paste and some of them are not good habits we are pasting
Sometimes you run out of options 🤣🤣🤣🤣mine didn't do homework yesterday but I reminded her live six times 🤔 just in the morning i realized she didn't do her homework
Technical sound check request please. There is a distracting buzzing sound like at minute 12:24 when Manuela is speaking. I have noticed the same sound in the last few videos. It lasts for a few seconds but it’s really clear and distracting especially when using earbuds. Can you please check on it?

Micah reminiscing abt Tom and Jerry and bursting out laughing reminded me of oneday at campus year 2 when I was in class and all of a sudden I also remembered sth and laughed only to be singled out by the lecturer who told me she would throw me out of her class and never to return to it again.I was seriously shaken and since then I know wat this reminiscing thing can do to a person 😂😂
Always here for meaningful KB... Thanx ladies
Wooowww that's awesome about Angie's son am as well graduating with a degree in biomedical ❤ Ebenezer we thank JESUS
Ladies getting better and better. Thank you always for sharing your experiences. Love from Kenya
Thanks ladies.. this is helpful
Thanks for today's show. I would like to here bump Love's take on the trending DNA topics
We are waiting for you ladies thanks Bambi
Am not yet a mum but l don't miss

Very educative episode Thank you so much Ladies❤❤..
Wooooh this is exciting and mind blowing. I love love love this topic, mine is 8months but she can shoe me that she isn't okay with some characters 😂. God guide me as I raise your woman of God
Good topic
Hullo,
Thank you for all your work,
Now aim a mother of 1 daughter,7yrs and 6 month now and she is in primary two.
All the best.
am struggling with this too with my boy and i dont know what to do any more..
Be calm to your children engage them in conversations they suit, ,they will be obedient.
Missed Pulma's view thank you for the show ❤
45 Mins late... Obidient Consistent OG n Mother to Only gals....❤❤❤❤ to you gals.
These ladies are always looking fabulous ,great show
Hi Manuela for me growing up my brother was the most obedient later on I asked him why he’d do everything and he said he doesn’t want our mom to nag him.
This might also be the case for sure. Thanks for this insight. I appreciate it
I love this
Great conversation ladies, thanks for sharing your experiences, my ka 6year old is obedient on his terms hehe when he was younger I really used to do physical alot till he asked me to stop it,and also stop shouting at him,it's been close to 3years now and our only mode is talk through so I have to always be conscious of my reactions towards his behavior so I keep the peace between us.
😂
Bianca is a true definition of my first born ,naye mpulila nfa
Thank u ma new found love...BUMPLOVE
Before i even watch this episode, cheiii i must comment on Rachel's make-up. Wow!!!! Beautiful, beautiful.
Now let me watch.
Angie woooooow you spoke to my heart
❤❤❤ can anyone guess how much i loooove bumplove
180%? ❤😊

Thank you ladies it was such a great show and I have taken something
Ange u are right 👍 words give life or take it..... I prefer the physical disciplining
This is so helpful
Children are big people in small bodies .
Finally it’s Friday😘😘
This has been so educative. i do not have a child of my own but i have raised my nephew from 3 years and he is making 8 in september but eeeehhhh Amani is a rollercoaster!!!!!! i love him but i spank him for bad behavior after several warnings. Boys are something else eeeeh
Me my son is a toddler but eeh....i don't know if its disobedience or something coz eeh...anyhow...i have learnt new ways today
Kudos to you bakyaala🎉🎉🎉 so interesting
Ladies thank u for this program.....banaye i hv one so far bt oooh my God.....thank u ladies for this episode....least hv picked some good points on how to go abt it.... especially listening and engaging him in a conversation.....❤🌹👌God bless u ladies
Me n sis, our duty was to do laundry. I wash with soap, she rinses. One day i was busy on tv, she went and rinsed them dirty cloths😂😂 and said, me I have done my part😂😂 my mum changed how she parented us😂😂 children are very different 🙌🏿
😂
Not the dirty clothes😂😂😂
Amazing topic ladies, sometimes when I repeat my self several times it feels like am failing as a mum as in why can't they do wat I tell them? Thank you Rachel I will not tire from repeating bse man just when I thought Manuela was good she still has challenges despite her very organised life hweeee. BREATH
Oh yes, I do have challenges. Especially with the ages above 4 years 😅😅😅😅
@@manuelap.mulondo am in that bracket too of 9,7,2 and a few months but ofcs now the one of two is doing copy and paste and some of them are not good habits we are pasting
I asked God for the wisdom to correct my mistakes, not to be a controlling mum and mostly we talk and i pray over them.
I like this
Sometimes you run out of options 🤣🤣🤣🤣mine didn't do homework yesterday but I reminded her live six times 🤔 just in the morning i realized she didn't do her homework
I can relate with Angie’s talk
I was once in that situation where moms words would hurt me banage but now am old enough
Wow this was a very interesting discussion, definitely relatable. Thank you Ladies.
The way I waited for story time today
Thk u ladies ❤
This show is my juice on food and tomatoes when cooking
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Technical sound check request please. There is a distracting buzzing sound like at minute 12:24 when Manuela is speaking. I have noticed the same sound in the last few videos. It lasts for a few seconds but it’s really clear and distracting especially when using earbuds. Can you please check on it?
Thank you ladies for this conversation
How can i get that book @Manuela
