Loggers Leap DEMOLISHED at THORPE PARK

- Thorpe Park have started the removal of Loggers Leap, the iconic log flume ride which opened in 1989. This is to make way for Project Exodus, which will be the UK’s tallest rollercoaster. Thorpe Park have recently confirmed that Mack Rides, a German company, will be the manufacturers for this ride!

Yh but we getting an insane roller-coaster instead we'll get over it.
I have fond memories of loggers leap, seeing it ripped up is so sad.

I was addicted to Thorpe last season but I have fell of a bit, but since these updates came out I’m glad to be back in the community again 😊😊
Hi JackSilkstone i cannot beleive that old Loggers is finly comming down me and my freinds are almost in tears ourselves seeing this iconic ride come down but we are also t exited knowing that priject Exodus will be built we cannot wait to see it being built

Went down there today and canada creek station was gone, only structures left were the double down and train shed!

Tbh I think it'll be awesome to watch the double down drop come down as I'm wondering how they'll do it and I 100 percent agree saw is gonna be a great view of the construction it'll be insane I cannot wait for exodus track to start being placed later this yeah so hyped
So sad, there seems to be a war against log flumes in England like.
Weather and maintenance costs...are a big factor for them not veing built here sadly...

On one hand i think it's great they are going to build a new rollercoaster. On the other, however, why did they leave such a bit portion of the park unused for so many years? They could have built a nice log flume like the one in chessington.
It seems to be the year for destruction this year making way for new rides, we have the loggers leap, the ultimate and the flume at great yarmouth all gone this yearl

This update must have been recorded a few weeks ago as the first Lift of loggers at the train station is now gone and flattened

I actually thought they were keeping the double drop in tack as a memorial thing. I guess not. Also do you know if when tbey actually build the coaster if they will have to close saw down for a period of time due to the hight of new coaster?

Sad to see another log flume bite the dust. Still not sure about the current coaster plans. Would have loved to have seen a RMC hybrid and a new gen intamin log flume for a new themed land. I bet the theming for the new coaster is going to be lazy as fuck.
