I think you forgot to mention it also comes with an extension table that can be attached. I love it!
I just got the Singer 8060 and it has all the same features as the 9960....and it sews beautifully as well. Just letting your viewers know in case of trouble finding the 9960. Not sure which one is newer, but they look so identical. Very happily sewing during this crazy time!
The only difference between the two is the color of the faceplate.

Just a btw, what she said was the provided thread cutter is actually for the button hole presser foot. Watched a vid all about the singer which was quite useful
this machine blows my mind 600 stitches and auto thread cutter woe! my Brother machine Haas some of those features too.

Yes, I started with my Mum’s Singer...one stitch and I turned the handle. Found out it’s from 1911 so must have been my Nana’s! I send prom dresses and all my summer dresses on it. Now I just got the 9960 & love it. The speed control is great for free embroidery … I don’t end up going too fast, & love the cutter.
Isnt it wonderful! And if lucky, you can just have it safely sent to your front door.

While my heart wants another (way more expensive) machine, this review was compelling. It does a lot of what I want, albeit a bit noisier. However, the price is in my zone.

This machine looks awesome! I've been looking at different sewing machines. If I choose this one I'm going to have to use it for a lot more than hemming jeans. :)
Also when I put the thread all the time came out then I had to adjust the bobbin then my friend told me it was not necessarily to put both threads together. I am a completely beginner but I do like it. It is fun
I literally just purchased this machine off Amazon after watching this. I need a faster and more durable machine so this was a great investment

I bought at the beginning of 2019.
I was kind of frustrated becuase I thought it was not a good machine.
I just saw you how you did the denim and how you went from and back ward and that's what I want to do.
Maybe I dont know how to use it.
I have a friend in south America she has an old industrial machine and it is like wuao. Mine dose not turn the fabric,or I cannot turn the fabric and keep going. Or for example that movement of going front and back wards just by pushing the pedal that's what I want to do too.

I'm looking at a purchasing this machine but having to scroll through all of the decorative stitches wood get a little tiresome, imo. I would much rather enter the number for the stitch I want. This is definitely a factor for me to consider. Thank you for the review.

I finally got the courage to plug it in as I’m afraid of computers... it was going well on my third day the lcd screen only showed specs on the screen I turned it off then back on now not even the tiny dots appear???

Hi, do you use the Quantum often ? I just bought one two weeks ago and the needle glitches and has seizures once or twice an hour while just using the straight stitch. Is this normal for a computerized sewing machine? Thank you

Thanks for the review! I want to buy a new sewing machine and I don't know even where to begin... My current one cannot stitch through the seam of my jeans :( it sews perfectly fine over two layers of denim, but as soon as I come to the seam it gets stuck or makes a giant mess underneath...I sew slowly, level the foot, use an appropriate needle, appropriate thread and still it's crap. So I was wondering if the singer quantum can deal with that and if it has an automatic thread pressure adjustment? Thanks a lot!

So I just inboxed my machine s did a sample stitch. When I used the cutter I thread on the spool 🧵threw off extra thread. Could that be that I don’t have it threaded correctly?

The Juki F600 is around 3-4 times the price of the Quantum Stylist because it has many advanced features such as adjustable presser foot pressure, a knee lift, programmable foot pedal, etc. Useful for serious & advanced sewists, but not budget-friendly ($1,049 is the current price am seeing on Amazon). The Quantum Stylist has a lot of decorative stitches but not the rest of the features I mentioned, but should be more than enough for most hobby sewists and is around a quarter to a third of the price of the Juki F600.
I want one so bad I had singers but there more 600 stitches wow I want one Whaa 😭👍🏻😉
