    Nice quick side by side video. My son just got the 2024 k2 230 and likes it pretty well. It’s great for me for him lol. It’s got enough power for him to have a good time but not quite enough to get him hurt.

    So I just purchased the K2 230 off your recommendation as a first bike. Instantly in love. Funny thing though. In the video where you tested out the K2 you bottomed out the suspension and left that nice mark! Mine suspiciously has the same mark! Lol I think Im now riding that bike from the video! Woohoo! 😂 But seriously thank you for the great video and information. I told everyone at MotoCity that I chose then first based off the videos you made for them! Merry Christmas!

      Ha! Ha! Thank you for your support! If your bike has the same under fender tire mark... It's probably the bike. I was amazed at how well it rode and how strong the motor was for a 230. I have owned older honda 230's and they were dogs compared to this Kayo! If you want to do a little desert riding behind the shop I could take you out for a little trail ride and work on some skills if you'd like.

    My girlfriend has a CRF-150R. Would u say the K4-250 is faster ? She's only 5'2 with limited skills ... so we're stuck finding something SMALLER than a traditional full-sized 250-4-stroke - and something her size - but FAST. Any suggestions ?

      I have not been on a 150 in a really long time... Here is a Top Speed video I created for the three different 250 Motors that Kayo uses: ruclips.net/video/n_jNwAJkTx4/видео.html Do a test on the 150 and compare the two side by side. I'd be curious to learn your results.

      Completely agree... It's gotta have some pulling/climbing power around my part of the woods... I saw a video with a dealer saying the hp was 12.. if that's true ( I think it should be around 16 ) and 4 hp is HUGE when you're only talking such low numbers to begin with.

    No offense, I've been on all 3 of the big Kayo bike - the R, the K6 EFI, and the KT250 - they are not even close to KTM in terms of performance.

    • @manybikes
      @manybikes  2 года назад

      I do agree with you in a direct back to back. I’d say the KTM is 20% better all the way around. BUT that 2x price tag is steep. The KTM guy wouldn’t buy a Kayo anyway ;)

    • @bigk5746
      @bigk5746 2 года назад +1

      @@manybikes it's not 20%, it's way more than that. Although, if it's a new rider they won't notice how big of a gap until they gain the experience.

      Yes, both front forks have adjustments as well as the rear shock with preload, compression and rebound. The adjustments can be seen on the forks / shock in this video I created: ruclips.net/video/G5BuHTyX7n0/видео.html

    If these bikes are like Chinese bikes in general, as soon as a gear breaks in the transmission, the bike will be junk.

    • @manybikes
      @manybikes  2 года назад +5

      I hear what you are saying Carl. These do not feel like "typical Chinese bikes" as the build quality appears to be significantly better than we have seen in the past. A step above most we have seen.
