If there were only Ukraine and Poland in history, a Collab would still have achieved tech progress to mend the hardship of human life to the same extent known today, meaning, they got the skills, the practical thinking and the ability to dream up a tomorrow, more people benefit from in a peaceful world

Ukraine has not cut any gas supplies. It's de transfer deal that goes out that will not be renewed and countries have known this since they were signed. Especially the recent years with Russias escalation of the war it has been clear that Ukraine are not willing to fund Russias war.
It's like if you rent a house and the owner tells you that you can only live in the house for 3 years and then you need to move out. Is it the owner of the house that should get you a new home or should you do it yourself?

Gas constitutes 7% of Slovakia’s energy consumption. Ukraine has given plenty of notice. Slovakia could have invested in electric heat pumps to compensate for most of that, eg from Japan or South Korea. Slovakia can surely find other sources of energy, short-term in any case. Slovakian government seems determined to retain favourable relations with Russian government. This must surely be on the basis of some influence the Russian government has over the Slovakian government.

And gas constitutes only 7% of Slovakia’s energy consumption. Investment in electric heat pumps would cover this, with little increase in power generation from other sources. The issue here is Slovakia’s relationship with Russia.

We have lost Slovakia to the Kremlin and should Donald Trump turn out to be a weak, morally relativistic president (many indicators point in that direction), we are going to lose Czechia next year, too. Mind my words, please.
