This 1970s Lake Tahoe Cabin is Brought Back to Life with Style and Super Cozy Elements

- San Francisco Designer Noz Nozawa takes us inside her 1970s cabin in Lake Tahoe, California to see her updated great room, kitchen, cozy cave and secret bathroom. The kitchen was opened up for better flow and Noz embraced both natural and painted finishes on the cabinetry. In the great room it's all about comfort and some amazing decorative art pieces. Downstairs, Noz took a plain bonus room and turned it into a cozy cave complete with a built-in style bed and reading nook, clever storage and fun elements throughout. She even found a way to sneak in a tiny but stylish Japanese inspired bathroom.

I actually liked this one even though I’m not a fan of cabin style generally. It helped that the designer had such a lively, relatable personality. It made it feel like you really could bring a SciFi book and visit her at Tahoe.
Simply gorgeous, and her explanations & descriptions of how (and why) she chose the decor is pleasant and easy to listen to! Nothing is overdone or pretentious, just dreamy & cozy. Well done 👍🏽 Oh and I like his little nod to the rapper Nas- “Noz in full effect!” at the end 🙌🏽

Was it a blue spruce or, blue atlas cedar or maybe a Japanese white pine that had the blue needles that inspired the wall? I live thousands of miles from Tahoe so I don't know much about their forest. Nice place, looks great.

Can we see more structural content ie exterior fixing of issues, rather than interior design? Stone fixing, plumbing issues, damp, roofing, electric issues, foundation issues? Extensions etc
