I guess they are more on the same page for what songs to record. If you look at Ghost Kid (Sushi, the former singer) you will see a lot heavier stuff and way darker lyrics, quite the opposite of what EC is doing now. I think the split was for the better, both parts can create what they love and we as listeners get it all :D
I like their music with Sushi too, but Nico is better in my opinion. I believe they would have still blown up if Sushi would have stayed, but maybe not as big as they are now. I dig Ghostkid, and I think Nico is a better fit for Eskimo Callboy, so it’s a good thing he decided to leave.
@@luciddreaming999 I don't think either vocalist is "better" in the general sense, but I think the lineup change was best for everyone. Sushi is doing fantastic stuff with Ghostkid, and Eskimo Callboy seems to have the perfect Chemistry in their band with Nico in it now.

Seeing them 10+ years later, being larger than they ever were, both keeping the original style and wrapping it into a musical comedy that adults can have fun with is SO amazing.

I guess they are more on the same page for what songs to record. If you look at Ghost Kid (Sushi, the former singer) you will see a lot heavier stuff and way darker lyrics, quite the opposite of what EC is doing now.
I think the split was for the better, both parts can create what they love and we as listeners get it all :D
I like their music with Sushi too, but Nico is better in my opinion. I believe they would have still blown up if Sushi would have stayed, but maybe not as big as they are now. I dig Ghostkid, and I think Nico is a better fit for Eskimo Callboy, so it’s a good thing he decided to leave.

@@luciddreaming999 I don't think either vocalist is "better" in the general sense, but I think the lineup change was best for everyone. Sushi is doing fantastic stuff with Ghostkid, and Eskimo Callboy seems to have the perfect Chemistry in their band with Nico in it now.

I love how an Eskimo Callboy release is like christmas in the metal community now, every release is a holiday.
As a 2010s german scene kid, I'm so hyped for all of these. When Eskimo Callboy released their first EP, the "scene" scene was already starting to disappear. Seeing them 10+ years later, being larger than they ever were, both keeping the original style and wrapping it into a musical comedy that adults can have fun with is SO amazing.

I remember seeing them in Harsewinkel when I was 16. Completely different band now to what they were then lol!
As a German I just love these guys soo much. At this point, they're essentially just screwing around to see how many stupid fun bangers they can churn out until they produce anything that's not freaking awesome. They just combine kickass heavy music with a lot of screwing around fun like no other band I know.

Amazing song as always with Eskimo Callboy. Turns out i listened to Hypa Hypa 930 times just on Spotify in 2021, but Pump It will be played a lot as well i can tell. I just wish for one more chorus to supplement the chunk the last minute of the song.

It's so unreal to see how far these guys have come! Many years ago they played in my little town of Georgsmarienhütte at the local "Hütte Rockt" Festival. There were only a few hundred people there, maybe a thousand. Fingers crossed that they get into the Eurovision Song Contest!

Honestly, I had no idea who they were until Wednesday because my parents (who are in their 60s!) played "We Got the Moves" and I was instantly hooked. Went on an Eskimo binge, sent the video to all my friends, Watched all the newest ones with Nico. I went nuts, I love it!

And the ladies they get for these videos. Yowza. The hip action from the one with most of the screen time, very nice. I grew up in the 80's, those outfits are on point. Spandex and leg warmers man, can't be beat.
