    One of the most level headed, straight forward, funny guys on the tour off the court. I like how he never shy away from speaking his mind, in a gracious way. Tennis could use more personalities like him instead of typical, 'nice guy' bland personalities who speak what they are told to speak.

    • @invictuz4803

      Classiest funny guy ever and one of the best. I'm surprised he doesn't have more fans, but then again some people don't have a sense of humour.

    Novak is a very nice guy, people under estimate that. My favorite player, he's a great guy, likes his fellow players. Press sometimes puts him in a dark light. He likes Rafa&Roger...

    • @htursan
      @htursan 6 лет назад +4

      Kenny Sikes Only a Djokovicz fanatic can call him nice! The press cannot put a nice person into 'a dark light' whatever that means. He certainly does not like RF or RN, but he sucks up to RF hoping some of RF aura might rub on to him.

      I dont get the hate he gets from the press and spectators... I think he was the new kid who came out of nowhere and dominated the game beating the two favorites

      News, magazines, quoting him not in person- 'I don't like Roger,', 'I don't like RafaI '' I don't like Andy', let me rephrase, the press speaks for him, he doesn't dislike these players, if you read it, believe, it's-not nice if he's saying these things, he's been asked, and doesn't agree with the print. He has a high level of respect for his rivals.. as one has commented, he's been a major force to break up a different result on who will be in the final, backing it with winning the grandslam., lifting the trophy. All I know is none of them are great losers, including Djokovic, but none have acted up the way Federer did after he lost the match to Anderson.. The temper tantrum Federer had when he reached the building after Anderson, was uncalled for, directly from the commentators that he screamed at each individual to get away from him, which was everyone connected to Roger. Federer is the great/the legend-, play until your 50; accept the loses and move on.. Is it true? I wasn't there, but it made me disappointed in him, if was.. Good example that you can and have a right to think what you want, but it made me disappointed to hear that.. if you put out negative about any of these players, it puts a bad taste in any tennis fan. Yes I am a Djokovic fan, as I was Jankovic, when she was playing. But I can see out of the box, with Nadal, if he wins Wimbledon that is only 2 behind Federer that pushes them both to keep going it would be a sad day when they leave their careeers. Nadal has one thing on Federer if he's playing and focused he can on any surface at any given tournament, Federer cannot.. He has his French Open not against Nadal, knows not only is clay hard on his body, he's likely to loose, before he gets to the final, which Rafa would be waiting. Tennis players all get good and bad press, at the end of the day, obviously there human and will get the good and the bad. I'm saying Djokovic gets a lot of bad press that's not true, so does the rest at times. Serena Williams would of quit along time ago if she allowed her haters to push her down. At the end of the day I would love to see John Isner and Serena Williams lift the Wimbledon trophies 🇱🇷🎾🇱🇷..if not, then I'll enjoy Djokovic play until he wins or loses. Serbians aren't hard on the eyes, both men and woman.. as a tennis fan I just know during interviews or free speech, Djokovic is just as nice as the other, none of them are perfect-he hasn't scared security and his team after losing a match once it's over and he returns to the building, if he is a bad guy, he at least knows how to loose.. To be a winner, you have to be a better loser.....let's see who lifts the trophy,hmmmm🎾

    • @Abhi-wh3ik

      He gets this hate because majority of fans around the world had already chose Roger and Rafa as their favorites, but when Novak started beating them both since 2011, he automatically became a villain to those millions of people while also gaining more fans himself. Even the press, media paint him as a 'bad' guy because he apparently, Roger and Rafa bring them more money.

    • @invictuz4803
      @invictuz4803 6 лет назад +10

      Yeah Novak is a class act and a legend in his own right. It's sad to hear that the media is actually tarnishing his reputation but it makes sense, he can't bring in more money than Rafa or Federer and the media knows that there has to be a villain, otherwise there's no drama.

    Greatness is displayed through humility.Djokovic might not yet have as many Grand slam title as Federer and Rafa but individually he is better than any player that has played this game,his mental capacity is far stronger than that of even the navy seals. But acknowledging that Federer has achieved more than anybody else is a fact that can’t be denied .Make no mistake about it,this admission doesn’t take anything away from him.

      He is nowhere near him when he have won him so many times in GS finals? and etc in all the head to head. Dont forget that Federer played for years and won many slams before Djokovic. The weak era you know.
      Djokovic in his prime is better than Federer and Nadal too. He is the most complete player of all time without a doubt. I dont say that he is the greatest. I believe too that Rafa and Roger are top , but Djokovic should consider himself better than them because he proved that he can dominate with them in the same era.

    • @eyeofhorus1301

      Vasilis Kar he is just more humble an individual than you are. Maybe that's why he made it so far up in life. He let's his racket do the talking. And constantly seeking superiority or inferiority in every situation is quite an insecure notion. Enjoy great tennis and great tennis players. Everything and everyone is unique in there own light. I'd think that's obvious.

      Djokovic is the man of tennis. sure, Federer is classy.. as long as things go mostly his way. Nadal is nice.. but breaks now and then, Djokovic has a bad past with negative reputation.. but people change and we don't know what was really going on. Djokovic has been the nicest, classiest and most empathetic guy for years... win or lose, he is honest and doesn't take anything away from his oponents.. even against Kyle, he said that Kyle couldn't know if the ball bounced twice etc.. blabla. Kyle got the point even though the ball bounced twice, he threw the racket and also ran into the net.. people are always against djokovic for some reason, but djoko had nothing but praise for Kyle in the interview afterward.. could've ripped him, because everyone and even Kyle himself (bodylanguage etc) knows the truth.. anyway. enjoy the match tomorrow and hopefully novak can pull it off.. even though nadal looks a bit better (comparing their performance in the last match), I believe djokovic will step it up.. he always did when he really needed it, mostly*, not always!

      Djokovic played on Centre Court because Federer was hogging the damn Centre Court the entire tournament while Djokovic finally got his first match there. Djokovic played Nishikori, Fed played Anderson. On paper the Djoko/Nishi match is better. Now that Fed choked and lost to Anderson after being 2 sets up is not the fault of the court rofl. I know Fed fans want to use every excuse in the book but Federer was mostly a serve bot today and still almost won because of his great serve. If Fed had a serve like Nadal or Djokovic he would have never been the GOAT.

    • @jacksongreene3687
      @jacksongreene3687 6 лет назад +24

      Marcia Williams....Federer hadn't played off Centre Court since 2015. You sound petty and ridiculous. Novak wanted to play his match on Centre Court and he had the more intriguing match so he got it. It's not Novak's fault Roger lost since Novak had to play Kevin Anderson Court 1 in 2015 and barely won that one. Stop whining. Roger should have ended that match in straight sets but he messes up and caused his own loss.

      The 2003-2006 Weak Era Power Vacuum: The Period of Federer's Greatest Dominance Was Essentially Devoid Of Great/Consistent Competitors.An example of Federer's power vacuum luck: on his way to winning the 2006 AO, Federer faced ZERO players who had ever even been in a GS finale, let alone won it. In other words,all 7 of his opponents were players who never in their careers won a slam, nor ever previously reached a slam finale! By comparison, Nadal and Djokovic never won a GS title without beating at least one past/future slam champion.Federer’s decline in terms of slam titles won coincides with the emergence of Nadal and Djokovic. Federer was only 26 when Rafa and Novak started making him look un-GOAT-like, which destroys the fallacious argument that only age has prevented him from competing as well as he once did.Furthermore, look at several of Federer's early slam finale opponents' rankings:
      2003 Wimbledon: 3-0 vs. Philippoussis, ranked 48.
      2004 Aussie Open: 3-0 vs. Safin, ranked 86.
      2006 Aussie Open: 3-1 vs. Baghdatis, ranked 54.
      Are these the kinds of low ranked, unseeded players Nadal, Djokovic and Murray had a chance at crushing in slam finales? More concrete proofthat 2003-2006 was undoubtedly a very weak era - especially compared to the strong Big 4 Era tha came right after it, when suddenly Federer found it much more difficult to accumulate slams. NOT due to his rising age, because already from the age of 27 onwards Roger could no longer beat Nadal and Djokovic in any slam finales.More numbers that Federer fans don't want to know about -Average Rankings of Slam Finale Opponents:
      10.8 is the average ranking ofFederer's slam finale opponents
      4.5 is the average ranking ofDjokovic's slam finale opponents
      4.4 is the average ranking ofNadal's slam finale opponents
      2.0 is the average ranking ofMurray's slam finale opponents
      Analyzing all these numbers, does this mean Federer wasluckier? Of course it does; certainly much luckier than Murray. Roger's very high 26% and 10.8 are directly related to the fact that he thrived in the fairly weak POWER VACUUM2003-2007 era when the top 5 kept changing all the timebecause most of them were not consistent threats, not players of the highest caliber.

    Now don't let Rafa win. I only say that b/c you sometimes give him the match RG two years was an example --however we all grow over time and seeing change in you (as well as Serena) it's interesting (to see if you'll come in even more grounded- stay out of your head PERIOD, it's the mechanical only then just drop into the heart only- and grind! ---- | and it's touching - how nice you give Roger support and credit ---- lending that understanding of the Champion to Champion for the viewer - that court 1 comment was something that only a player would know and it was interesting. Go on and Take Wimby Nole - Rafa is extremely great in his own right but he's not a better player at the end of the day you need to take that. xx Nice to see you and Jelena on her bday too. xx

    Anyone saying that playing on court 1 was a factor in federer losing is looking for excuses, the court doesn't cause you to lose from 2 sets up. Federer's forehand broke down as the match went, with him only managing short spells of consistency on one of his most important shots. The signs were there in his previous matches, but his great serving covered up the inconsistency on his forehand. In the previous matches his forehand wasn't bad but it wasn't the same as it normally is.
    Anderson began to make more aggressive shots as the match progressed, and when federer needed his forehand the most he couldn't find it. It happens to everyone, normally players like federer get through those matches, but when someone is striking the ball like anderson was in the second half of the match, you need to be able to rely on your strengths, for federer those strengths are his serve and forehand, one them let him down and he lost the match.
    The result would have been the same on any court, anderson's weapons began firing at full potential while federer's weapons failed him on the day.

    Federer would of won comfortably if the match was on centre court, Federer choked on court 1 was too nervous for some reason. Still think Federer will likely win US open as he is due another title there and will give him extra motivation to come back stronger even though he will be 37.

    Rafa will beat Novak on Friday, Rafa wants it more. If you watched the match today against Delpo, Rafa was in trouble getting pummeled down 2 sets to 1. What happened? Vintage Rafa baby! He used all his skills, physical chess. Drop shot, serve and volley! Rafa serve and volleying???? And he won something like 36/45 points at net, What ever it takes baby! He’s going to do what ever it takes to beat Novak too. He will die to win Wimbledon again.

      I don't think want is going to be a question at all on Friday. They both want it just as bad. Rafa hasn't won here in 8 years and Novak hasn't won any major at all in 2 years. For Novak, a win rights the ship and gets him on the course to challenging for a slam and potentially #1 again. For Nadal a win puts him in position to be the closest hes ever been to Roger in slam count since 2-0. Its just going to come down to who executes better.

    To day any body can be defeated at any time on any court . Stronger you are the more you wins. To day it is a power game without grace and talent.Federer can be easily beatable and too in less competitive circuit and that is what Anderson did it. Isner should have thrashed everybody in every match if he has serve and volley game. They have only service and power. They are too tall and sluggish in their movements. Now when sampras played he also faced giant killer like Goran Ivanosvich, Gred Rusedski, Philipouses, Mark Rosset, Richard Krachichejk who are all served 135 mph and above.But Sampras beat them all with graceful serve and volley and base line strokes. But Richrd Krachiejk could beat sampras because he too is an excellent serve and volley player. Tommy Haas is much superior in strokes than Federer but he played gracefully and style but with less power and serve and volley. If you drag beyond five sets then anybody can be beaten. That is what the tennis history .Now let us see the match between Jokovich and Anderson , you see sheer power without grace in 5 hrs or 10 hrs.

    calling anyone GOAT beside federer is just based on braindead arguments, like "titles in weak era", "skipping clay no sportsmanship", "having all the easy draws" blabla. I say stop disrespect other players like Hewitt, Safin, Rodick etc. There is nothing wrong skipping tournaments to save energy. What exactly makes some delusional so called Nadalfans think he is the GOAT? Federer has the most complete package of any player, most gs-titles, most weeks no. 1, most gs semifinals/quarterfinals in a row, most match wins and titles except to connors (for now), best shotmaker, best server in the game, owns most records in tennis overall, style of play, sportsmanship and fan-favorit almost every year, on- and offcourt gentleman... don´t tell me Nadal is GOAT cause better h2h to Federer, or cause of 11 FO titles, these are some stats where nadal leads, thats all, this is nothing compared to the full package federer has. Quick reminder, Nadal never came closer than 3 gs titles eventhough Federer did not win any from 2012 wim to 2017 Ao - simple facts right there no excuses, just the truth. 1. Federer, 2. Laver/Nadal
