Henk Meeuwis was a wonderful guide, I am glad he had the time to show us around the museum. I have always loved that video of twin engine rally truck over taking the car as it is so unexpected.
Great tour! I visited the museum about 7 years ago, DAF history is so innovative and i love some of the style of those cars. There is a lot to see and the staff were very friendly. i also visited Eindhoven's Philips museum the same day. Makes a good day out if interested in transport and design. Greetings from UK!
What an amazing episode! I would have loved to see more B-rolls of the car/truck that the guide was talking about, because it would be helpful to spot anything that he points out :) Anyway, a great journey!
It's unbelievably enjoyable to watch something narrated by passionate people. I could stay here for hours learning stuff. Instead, I'm gonna get my old XF105 from my garage and drive a bit, because he made me feel like it.
Hey are the museum's old car restorations documented on RUclips? Because a lot of restorations are getting millions of views, and they could make thousands of bucks if they vlogged their restoration, which would probably be super helpful for their project.
Incredible Video, thank you so much for a longer video with so much information about all of these Historic trucks and inventions from DAF, Would absolutely Love if something like this was done for the other brands as well
What a great video ! Henk is such a good tour guide, clearly very passionate and proud of the company and his work. I really regret not taking the opportunity to visit the museum whilst I was in the area but it is definitely on my bucket list. As much as I would have loved to have seen the 95 series in this video, I am actually grateful that the focus wasn't on the 'modern' vehicles that are already well documented and instead focused on the rich history of vehicles DAF produced. Thank you for the video, I really enjoyed watching it 😊
Wow, the DAF Museum is a paradise for classic car enthusiasts! I like their cars just as much as their trucks. If DAF had made such a compact car today, it would have been in a similar position to Citroen or Skoda. Now I understand why the 66 was produced by both DAF and Volvo.
Funny enough that I started my trucking journey as a DAF Mechanic, then into bodywork aswell which I learned on most recent DAFs and old ones like the XF105, CF85, LF55 then to the recent versions like the XF,CF,LF Euro6 very happy to have that knowledge
I,ll be honest, I skipped through the video. I was not aware of this museum so I will visit in person later this year. I will rewatch this video after my visit. So thanks for showing the details.
Still miffed that Eindhoven isn't even on the Dutch map of ETS2.
Who knows what will happen when Benelux is being overhauled... :)
Get ProMods, than you have the DAF factory as well
@@bluemadness4316 No, thanks. Not bothered with map mods.
This.
@@Tiger313NL When?)
We need the older model daf in the game
Rework DAF XF 106 please SCS SOFTWARES

I really want Eindhoven in ETS2
Ben daar geweest, en het aanraden waard om te bekijken. Ook de fabricage van nieuwe DAF vrachtwagens gezien, echt indrukwekkend. 👍
Instead of doing that video, rather gives us some side covers for the DAF XG+ when we adding more wheels to it in ETS 2
Please add Eindhoven and Antverps in rework BENELUX
just ad eindhoven on the map and add in eindhoven the daf museum as an easter egg

Nice video but you better work on VEHICLE AND TRAFFIC BEHAVIOR!!! IT DOESN'T MEAN I'LL TAKE THE FRONT AXLE OUT OF TRACTION AT 24 KM/H !!!

A fantastic tour. That guy is so good. We'll done him and scs. Brilliant
Been there a few times. Awesome museum definitely check it out if you get the chance
So a new Daf truck in the future?
Great video! Lots of history
I live 5 minutes away from the daf museum and the factory! Very cool to check out!

Im jealous!

lets put an daf oldtimer in the game as an honorary piece,.... lets take a step further put an oldtimer of all brands in the game LOL
*LOL*
van Doorn Automotive Company, isn't it better to translate Company to Factory?

Thanks 🙏😊❤

Bir kere de adımız havalı bir şekilde geçsin :)
nice
First pls add Iveco s way
And where are the scania's torpedo's and oldtimers
Not here as this is a DAF museum not a truck museum or Scania museum
The recycling yard
Scania torpedo’s are discontinued by Scania , you only have aftermarket companies who re build your factory truck into a Torpedo
Really informative and a great tour guide. Thank you for this. I really enjoyed it.
