fr, Marss has been uploading 7 days a week nonstop for who knows long (over a year), butthead difference here is that poppt gets all of his content from planned out and recorded videos, while someone like Marss just has his editors use clips from streams that don't require any real planning

5:35 This happens to me too. To make sure it doesn't happen, you have to reset the stick to neutral before you airdodge up. If you're still holding up right when G&W becomes actionable, for some reason it doesn't let you air dodge. So basically, up b, reset the stick to neutral, wait for G&W to become actionable, then airdodge up.

lol yeah the Falco down throw drag down combo is one of his bread and butter combos. The only thing to really do is DI away from Falco, but a good player will know to run forward and then fair, so it can be hard to escape
Falco main here: the best DI to escape fair dd is down and away. If you do that, it's more likely that falco's landing hitbox will knock you out of the combo. However, in that scenario, the Falco can react and chase with a side b or dashgrab (the bird do be busted)

I’m not sure if others feel this way but having Poppt’s daily vids gives me something to look forward to and kinda soothes some anxiety. I’m in Sydney and we’re in week 12 of lockdown (quarantine). I didn’t think it’d hurt me mentally but it’s definitely taken it’s toll. Underdogs vids + their individual channels has definitely helped with anxiety. There is some sort of quality they have that makes you chill and have fun with them. I guess that’s some magic that really good content creators have. So thank you poppt if you do see this
tbh a lot of people don't understand how massive the difference between playing with friends/elite smash and playing in tournaments is. You're way more focused in tournament and can find yourself pulling some shit you'd never have expected to do

As a Game & Watch main (who still has some ironing out to do), this is really impressive, especially for someone using him in a tournament for the first time! I liked your comment at the end on how you need to charge at your opponent less as GW, that's something I might incorporate into my playstyle.

Di out on falco's downthrow. Also, for Falco's back throw and up throw, di down and away so you won't get hit by the second laser at high percents.

Hey Poppt! Falco has fair chains off of grab, downtilt or fair drag down. It works really well on characters like G&W due to his weight and floatiness. Most of the time it leads into true combos that do around 60 percent.

you can do jab 1 to full oil panic, or landing nair to it, you can also do jab 1 to up-b. and if you wanna do something spicy you can do landing nair-jab1-upb-nair-fastfall-uair-juggle

besides lucina, ness, and kirby do you play any other characters using different skins? like I often play half the entire cast and only play the OG skin of pikachu. I've got preferred skins even for the characters I don't play

@Rens Mudde Pikachu is a high-tier character and I get murdered playing as him all the time. Tier doesn't automatically mean success.
Mac main here. Yeah Straight Lunge is nutty in certain MUs. Nulls Palu up air, and almost all of Mythra and Shieks entire kit. Fucking hilarious.
Also every one of Cloud's limit specials.

As for the Falco combo, down throw drag down fair to down tilt can be true on some characters. The best thing you can do is DI away and pray 🙏

If you want to be a good Falco, you need to know that.
Some characters I think would be great to do this with: Pikachu, Luigi, Diddy Kong, Mario, Greninja or Steve

Def could have used more Usmashes! It's a surprisingly good defensive option, but imo we need to throw it out to put some fear in our opponents. Not using it, even just to do that, is a mistake !! Def causes the opponent to do some silly stuff. Pretty sure it would have beaten a few of Falco's aerials!

After the up b you shouldn’t drop the parachute and then airdodge up, you just have to put the analog stick back to neutral before airdodge :)
