This seems like a very nice unit besides that the screen looks very glary and "mirror like". I do not like screens like that i general and the old unit i would replace sits much higher up on the dashboard than yours and i do not want it to reflect everything. What is your opinion, is it as reflective is i think?

Hi Luke, awesome video man. Can you please provide a link for the plastic surround you have? I have just fitted the same headunit and purchased a surround that seemed to be the correct one, but it doesn't clip in or fit flush like yours. Appreciate it, thanks!
I'm sorry, I don't have a link for it unfortunately. The surround came with the car as it already had an aftermarket head unit in it and was fitted about 10 years ago.

did you have any issues with the mic sound quality using internal or external or both when making calls?
Also just curious if you got the wireless carplay working, were you using bT1 ?

Hi, I didn't have any issues with call quality but I was using an external mic. As for the wireless carplay, yes I got it working. Atoto gave me a new firmware to flash and everything worked out (I think there's a YT Short on my channel that has the update). So far, it's been rock solid.
