- Who else misses having chicken fillet rolls? Or are you yet to try one? These are staple in Irish cuisine and have become iconic.
Well hopefully this video puts you in the right direction of trying one or if you’re like myself not living at home anymore this will give you a little comfort bite of home.
The key to a great one is every bite being packed with flavour, nothing worse when you take a bite and it’s just a dry piece of the roll with lettuce.
A breaded and fried chicken ,on a baguette with a choice of your sauce and sides. Such a simple premise I know but there’s nothing like it outside of Ireland. I’ve seen some try recreate and sell for an outrageous price , plus they weren’t even done correctly.
Maybe someday I’ll have to take matters into my own hands and serve proper chicken fillet rolls outside of Ireland.
