I had a blue dc07 that the inner cyclone was packed full to the top!! I couldn't believe it when I saw it. Wondered why the cyclone assembly felt so heavy in the first place
Dyson had to redesign the cyclones on these early ones and they kept getting packed with dirt, I think it was something to do with the cyclones being upside down, they redesigned them and the newer ones had the number 2 written on the back of them a lot were replaced under warranty and all they did was flip the cyclones round the other way but kept the same outer design
We had the Low Reach version back in 2010, looking back this was probably what was wrong with it. My dad bought it new filters but still had no suction so it sadly got thrown out. It sucks because I was way too young and didn’t know anything about repairing vacuums back then.
Happy New year, everyone, i recently finished the restoration of my 1956 vorwerk kobold 111.now the kobold is ready to use, with all the original attachments.
I replaced it. I have several spares around, usually I swap them even when I get a simple 'please clean my filters' job in. A soak in really hot water then a 60 degree trip through the washing machine has them stiff and springy again for a while (if not torn)
I like the Dyson Dc07 uprights vacuum cleaners there where 3 allergy ones in the Dyson Dc07 the Red and purple one the green and purple one and the Blue and purple one they are very good cleaners
This just shows that Dyson’s long term testing is not enough as they would have predicted this. Unless it’s the start of ‘Dyson Built-in-obsolescence program’ which they seem to engineer their products to not last now.
That's why I'm glad I used bagged over bagless if I used a bagless machine at work who knows the problems I would face at least bagged machines have very little maintenance when used and are much cleaner way of controlling dust

The machine is well over 20 years old........ I think that speaks for its self

Bagged is always better but bagless isn’t too bad if maintained properly
HYN 🎇🧯 😂 Finally a Dyson! Is this the one you’re getting ready to use for the week?
