Revisiting this show, and I just realized that this episode is actually a tribute to Dustin Hoffman's 1967 hit movie "The Graduate". It CAN'T be a coincidence that this episode was about a young man in his early twenties who sleeps with his girlfriend's mother, who he also refers to as "Mrs. Robinson", and is ALSO the one who suggested the affair in the first place. That's exactly what happens in "The Graduate"!
I know im not the only person she wouldn't have had to convince. As soon as she opened that door (invitingly), instinct takes over. That's PAM GRIER man. No man is that strong.
When i was little i remember this episode so much because my dad. The loudest i ever heard him laugh (to this very day) is when Will broke the news to Uncle Phil.... At the time 8yrs old... I didn't get it that much... But as i got older, i understood why my pops laughed so hard 😂
I still vividly remember watching this scene as a teenager. I got mocked by my friends because I always thought it was effed up because she was his girl's mom.... but I can't really preach because I'm not sure I would have had the strength to resists. I'd like the THINK that I would have said 'feet don't fail me now' and ran up out of that room like a scared little girl... but my square, Steve Urkel nerd ass also might well have folded like a lawn chair. I think about this scene every time I hear about some school teacher in her twenties or thirties getting caught messing with one of the boys she's teaching in high school. I always wondered as teenager if well built, attractive older women knew what they were doing when they would get closer to you, rub your back, touch your arm, etc...
I would’ve found a way to get out of there before she could have her way with me. Sleeping with your girlfriend’s mother (no matter how attractive she was) was a seriously big no no.
Love her of being old woman ever, im gonna watch her filmography sometime, she was even in Martin TV Series Season 3 episode 19, when Martin as Jerome was singing to her.
I know it's a funny sitcom but can we talk about how awful Pam's character was in this episode 💀 Not only was she trying to steal a married man, she successfully stole her DAUGHTERS boyfriend like she was a villain 😭😭
So few will acknowledge this based on the fact that this is a comedy and...it's Pam Grier. A world where "getting a pass" still exists, and it's still a shame.
As a 29 year old man, I would have been thrilled to be in the presence of Janice. I know that the context of the episode says otherwise, being with him dating her daughter Wendy and Janice being Uncle Phil’s ex, etc, etc. However, if it was just someone like Janice inviting me to her hotel room, I absolutely wouldn’t say no to that. 😉
That “youre not going anywhere” lives rent free in my head to this day
I first saw this episode when I was 11 so I was feeling a whole BUNCH of ways when I got the hint lol
**Gameboy Pokémon Battle Theme**
Janice used STUN SPORE on Will Smith.
It was super effective.
Okay
Im like uhh huh? 😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Pam Grier was EVERYTHING! 🙌🏾
Still is everything
Even in the 90s. ❤
She was indeed
That's Pam Grier i would of folded too i wouldn't of cared who got mad 🤣🤣
Man I'm rolling the Dice! 😆
Mannnn listen u not lying
Ikr 😂😂
I've done the exact same thing IRL, LOL - except neither were "Grier worthy", LOL.....
On God idgaf
If Pam Grier tells me im not going anywhere! Im stuck!😂
Amen to that. She was is still is a beauty
“Well, good night!!” DEFINITELY had multiple meanings 😂😂
I agree... and Pam followed up with... "you've barely scratched the surface" 😅😂
When a woman like that tells you that "you haven't even scratched the surface" its time to scratch the surface and beyond.
Or scratch and sniff

Wow. Maybe because I’m an old movie person but, I knew that then😂😂😂
Janice was adjusting that robe a lot.
Shol Was! 😜
She was asking for a lot of that robe😂
In that situation, there's nothing to even consider - she wants you, she gets you! Point blank, period, that's it!
I know im not the only person she wouldn't have had to convince. As soon as she opened that door (invitingly), instinct takes over. That's PAM GRIER man. No man is that strong.
Not trying to get deep, but Will had a real “Joseph and Potiphar’s wife” kind of moment right there.
Except he folded lol
@@akeme25 we were kings 😔

It's those memories man. Try setting up this episode to watch with him again to see what kind of a laugh comes from him now. 😅👍🏾
@@Christopher_J I've been playing Gex on my Sega Saturn lately?
His scream is HILARIOUS! 🤣🤣🤣
Pam Grier is STILL Her ❤
You already know Will tore that up 😅😅😂
Who knows. He might've been a simp way back when
According to the manga, he prematurely busted
😂@@jdf3078
When she said you're not going anywhere, I would've for a second forgot how to walk.
Will did the right thing like Spike Lee😂😂😂😂
3:25 “I’m going to Run down to the lobby. get some of them free brochures..you know? before.” 😂😂😂
I would be too weak to move! 😂
This Reminds Me Of The Song Me & Mrs. Jones From Billy Paul In 1972. 😎
Man .oh man..that version of Pam grier might be better than the 70s version
Man listen…for Pam Grier..I’ll risk it all and trade it all. I’ll live with the results afterwards.
Soon as she told me “you’re not going anywhere” I would’ve melted.
1:35 - he had the right idea and should have just got of the dodge without looking back
I wouldn’t have even tried to fight it? Pam Greer 🤩🤩🤩😍😍😍
Pam grier from this era and the 60s 708s and 80s was extremely gorgeous
Pam grier was such an amazing and so incredible actress...her looks, body even stunning in the fresh prince of Bel Air
She was an absolutely gorgeous woman.
Indeed..

I say Hell Yes for 100 Alex! 😝
I have to. It’s my duty to please that booty what we talking about!?!?
Hell yeah! 💯
its been over 25 years and i still dont know why will snitched on her.
That episode is 30 years old now and I still don’t know why 😂
He didn't want his uncle to go out with Janice possibly ruining his marriage.
He was trying to save Phil & Viv's marriage
Because she was gonna do his uncle the same way.
Imagine a scene with Janice and the first Vivian
Never thought about that. That would be Hott! 😜
ruclips.net/video/TMjDzElp5rw/видео.htmlsi=-aj9A3xxC-MyUNKz she appeared on the Jamie Foxx show in a similar role...
The 1st Vivian would have pull off her ear rings and ready to start saying to her it's about to get busy up in here.😅😅😅
She would pull off her earrings and say that it's about to get busy up in here.😅😅😅😅
The 2nd Aunt Viv was originally cast to be Aunt Viv before the 1st Aunt Vivian

Would have folded then and now 20+ years after this episode aired
Sex symbol of the 70s i see why my uncles and dad talked about how fine she was 😍🔥
Been looking all over for this video
This is why I uploaded it 😁

I'd of folded like fresh laundry that's been sun kissed on a Sunday morning 😛
And then what happened... after either of these?
She was and still is so Fire.
Pam could've done and deserved better than Will. I think that Carlton would've tore that potato salad up! Lol.
Ahhh the Dust Witch... for centuries, luring men to their doom.
What a selfish mum.
Ta Dow...😂
No man ages 21 and 39 of any race can't resist Pam Grier .
He was 19
@GabrielOsiuhwu he was actually 25 in real life when this episode aired 🔥
@@GL_FAB his character that he played was only 19.
@GabrielOsiuhwu In reality, he was 25 at the time when this episode aired. He was born September 25th, 1968 🔥
@GL_FAB cant you read it? I said his "character" was 19. In the show, his character was 17-22 years old, like what's hard to get?
I know it's a funny sitcom but can we talk about how awful Pam's character was in this episode 💀
