WOW! This is a tough one! I often feel myself getting "prickly" when I recieve negative feedback, and yet, later when I have a chance to think about it, I am SO GRATEFUL that the individual took the time to let me know how I could be better. I "just" need to learn how to push the fast-forward button to get to the gratitude faster!

Same here, and when I look back the most uncomfortable and tough feedback I've gotten in my career has definitely been some of the most beneficial:)

Thanks. This is definitely a weak spot for me. Will use this, probably soon.

No matter how much we want it, our partners, unfortunately, do not read our minds. That is why we cannot expect our partner to know all our wishes, all our hopes, our expectations and weak points all the time. We must speak about our needs and expectations...

It's true! Clear communication is key, learning how to express yourself and be honest about what you want and need is a big level up:)

Thank you so much for another great video! Great, insightful advice. I find it really hard to hear your voice over the background music and concentrate on the message. I have to replay it several times to catch everything. Is it possible to not play the music in the background at the same time you are talking? Or at least really turn the music down?

Thanks Karen, I appreciate the note and thanks for sharing about the music feeling too loud. On my screen and computer it's pretty quiet compared to my voice volume, but good to know on yours that it isn't. I'll check it out on a couple other devices and we'll be more conscious of making sure the music isn't too loud in the future!
