Black soul music sung by black soul singers is just : Heaven on Earth. WON-DER-FUL !
It will never get any better than this. Mark my words
Al Green, Sam Moore, Mavis Staples! Can it possibly get much better than that?

Mavis ...Best Voice Anywhere ! Take me to church ! Amen !
Two icons a perfect duet loved them both
The first thing I saw was the inimitable Al Green whom I've loved so long, as he is one of a kind. I could not believe how clear and beautiful a voice Sam Moore has. Mavis Staples's voice is so powerful on this song, and the choir is young, beautiful and energetic. All the performers together, killed it. Al Green is so worthy of being honored. The Lord blessed him with such a great gift.
Oooooh myyyyy that was a trip to heaven and back! My dog was wondering why I was raising my hands in the air and proclaiming "YES, LORD!" Wow!
THIS IS SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mavis and Sam are singing the STANK OUT OF THAT SONG!!! Makes you want to get up and SHOUT! 🎤🎶🎼 BJ/ATL-USA
This is my favorite performance of Take Me to the River. I love the tempo, Sam Moore, and especially Mavis Staples. That screech that Mavis gives at 1:20 is delicious.
Oh my GOD! That was so incredibly, fantastically, awesomely GREAT!!!! And when that gospel choir comes out! Lord, Al Green, thank you for this music!
un-bloody-believable - superb - I defy anyone to sit still !
I love Mavis and I love Al

❤️🕺
Best ever on Kennedy ?
In my opinion, yes; although the tribute to Led Zeppelin was spectacular, too . . . especially when the choir was presented at 18:10 in this video: ruclips.net/video/ra-itTKnFaw/видео.html
Ex aequo with Aretha singing Natural Woman.
❤️
Muito show
Is that Courtney B Vance two seats down from Steven Spielberg and if it is him he's really feeling it.
YES he was feeling ittt
Take me to the riverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
There was nothing Al Green couldn't sing.
How come Tom Hanks knew exactly how to react to the last note while everyone missed it?
it si sad to see what is happening to this big country that is USA
i love the talking heads version
Does anyone know the name of the choir? My favorite version of Take Me to the River.
Ave
La Élite musical se codea con la otra Élite , todos muy serios pero en el Center Kennedy se armó la joda.
✌👍👋
I love the Obamas' rocking out
I love sam. More I can. Look. At. Him. Young. And. Old
Sam Moore's voice still sounds the same as it did in the 60s. That's a bad dude and so is Mavis a bad girl.
Is that Blue Lou on the Alto sax???
I went to sleep with this in my head...woohoo! Wave~length?
Church up in there
