I am knocked out by all that fabulous scenery. The Devil's Churn was brutally beautiful. I would be stopping at every single scenic overlook and hiking around for a better look. Those overcast skies really make for very photogenic, diffused light, and the resulting image quality is excellent. Welcome to what truck drivers call "lot lizards". I use to drive over the road truck driving back in 2002-2003 and there were occasions where I did experience someone knock on the do of the truck. One occasion was at a rest area in the state of Maine. It was in the middle of the night and I heard a knock on the door of the truck. There was no way I was going to even open the door. I call the police and eventually they came and patrolled the area. So glad for that.
There's one of the (I'm sure many) differences between Washington/Oregon and Southern California. That kind of .. INCREDIBLE .. beachfront would be prime residential property with no public access (2:26 to 4:12). How lovely!
Again nice video. I like that you only average 45 mile per day. This way you can take your time and enjoy the stops. Great scenery. The wife and I just bought our first trailer and hope to enjoy a little travel and camping this spring.
Wonderful views, and camera work, Eric! I noticed the zoom shot. Very nice. Can you see what the camera is recording on a tiny GoPro? Your shots are just amazing! I'd like to see you have a drone for some aerial shots. The Devil's Churn was great, and liked the scale of it when you had some distant people right of frame. I've driven this coast twice way back in the day and had forgotten this spot. Very relaxing views and love the breezes off the ocean. Weird experience with the drunk, and my feeling is for others reading this: Eric is not unprotected in his RV. He just doesn't talk about it ...

I love standing on the oceans edge it gives me the sense of freedom breathing in all that sea air, great upload Eric pretty scary stuff though about that drunken sop trying to enter the rv it could've been much worse.

The Oregon Coast is absolutely beautiful. When I was a kid, our family vacationed at Honeyman State Park just south of Florence. Glad you're getting to enjoy it for yourself.

I'm so impressed with this video!!! I really liked the way you were walking down the path with the camera and it hardly had any movement from your steps!! I don't know anything about filming ,but can say that I did notice how nice it was to watch without the camera shaking all over the place!! The Devil's Churn was incredibly beautiful and powerful!! I know the situation wasn't funny, but that guy asking if he could use your bathroom and your response cracked me up. Some people... Wow! That Devil's Churn was an awesome site. Yea for no rain!
+Lu Ann M I guess it was rather funny, but a scary lesson too. Maybe someone later will pretend to be drunk and lift that handle while I'm gone testing to see if the RV is occupied. That's when security alarms come in handy while parked next to a mix of residential and commercial areas where people will hear it and be pro active.

Eric he was trying to get into your trailer and used the bathroom excuse when he realised you were there. I would have mashed his face in on the spot with whatever tool I had and then took off. He wouldn't call police because hes a theif.

Thanks, was taken home to ocean lake, oregon, and grew up moving further down the coast.. newport area, then waldport area and finally hi school at marshfield in coos bay.. all the sights.. haven't been home since 2004 for a month. the lighthouses, devil's churn, the beaches, the green woods along the road, the azaleas, rhodies. been living in your old stomping grounds here north of iupui and ivy tech. drive safe. thanks for info about stuff to make life easier. solar can't be that hard if you guys can do it on the road with vehicles. maybe this 60 yr old can learn to manage one. stay safe. sorry, had an inconsiderate drunk at the door.
Hope you get down to Depoe Bay......about 100 whales stay there year round. We went whale watching while there. Cute little town and good places to eat......
