- Driving the wet, windy 101 South down Oregon Coast. Several nice spots for views, and then realized that Tillamook, Oregon was home of Tillamook Cheese, and I love my cheese. :)

I love that he honks everytime he goes through a tunnel. And that smile, like pure joy of an 8 year old. Don't ever lose that.
Thanks for the complete road trip! it had rain, ocean scenery, toothpicks of cheese and meowing Jax. Great way to start my Sunday morning.
I am now addicted to your videos, Eric. I am especially fond of Jax, as I am a cat person, but his personality and communicative style are simply the best! The clarity of your video is superb, and the places you go, your narration and explanation, along with your calm, yet good-time, demeanor relax me. I will watch until you give up or I physically cannot access your vids.
I enjoyed this ride along... nice view. thank you for sharing.
thank u Eric & jax! enjoyed riding along with u,as a retired otr driver,Oregon was the one state I would of relocated to,Portland nicest city in country friendly people, very walkable, love the public bubblers(water fountains)Gives me incentive to finish repairs on roof of my rv,&start my own journey!✌
Eric, I loved this beautiful ride. Thanks for sharing it. Gorgeous!
Enjoyed the ride along! Great views out the windows!!! Thanks!
+denalees Exactly ! Which is what I watch for, get to see places I never would get to otherwise. That is an interesting thumb nail pic you have there. 8 )
WH Please keep showing us these great stops!
My thumbnail is a Muscovy Duck taking off, from 50 Ducks in a Hot Tub!
The Oregon Coastline looks really beautiful no matter what the weathers like, really good Video!
+Mark Stevenson - Yes, very picturesque.
Since you're on the Oregon Coast, you should point this fun fact in one of your videos: Oregon is somewhat unique in that there are NO private beaches in Oregon. The entire coastline (up to a certain elevation) is owned by We The People of Oregon. I think that's pretty cool. Theoretically, you can walk the entire coast of Oregon and never set foot on private land. Gotta love it.
+greyhoundude Great point! Beaches aren't cluttered with million dollar houses taxed by the state like Washington and California. It's covered in state parks and campgrounds. :)
Every time I've been in Oregon it has rained, but their coastline is fantastic! Learned some helpful tips about RV life in Oregon so you don't get the rainy day blues. Once I was there for eight days on a photo shoot and every day it rained......but I loved the opportunity, thanks for your video.
Lovely coastline - Hug point is very beautiful even in the rain. Thanks for the videos.
We love going there. been camping in TILLAMOOK FOR ABOUT 40 YEARS NOW. HAVE FUN AND DON'T MISS TILLAMOOK COUNTY SMOKERS JUST NORT ON THERE.
you know Eric, while you are making great videos today I still really enjoy the older ones.. NF will live forever :)
a good day. truly enjoyed the "Sunday Spirit" music thanks!
no thanks
vacationed in Oregon. 5 years in a row. the NEXT YEAR! I sold and gave away all i could. Had 11 hundred pounds. took my 2 cats left Ct to MOVE! To Redmond Oregon :). drove from Ct in 94 Buick Skylark, With my 9 year old relationship. sent him back. lived in Redmond 16 Months. And decided too DRIVE BACK EAST Ct. Married my man after 13 years. moved to NH
Amazing scenery
The Cheese factory visit was cool !
Great views...the ocean and its the sky were really cool. You must be getting closer to California it sprinkled today....bring that Oregon rain with you!
Jax is the most talkative cat I've ever seen.
Hey Eric, on your Q and A you mentioned a wind turbine to charge when you drive. It will do so at the expense of gas efficiency. You'd be better off charging off your alternator if you want to use the energy of the RV to charge your batteries. A wind turbine would be great to erect when you put your solar panel to face the sun. If you had a easy tear down turbine, that would give you lots of power when it is windy. But don't run one when you're driving.
Thanks for the ride along Eric !
Love the music!!!!!!!!!! Reminds me of the movie "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou."
Good video... Tillamook Cheese was pretty cool....Thank you Eric...
Kudos for turning a rainy day into an eventful day. Always good to see our buddy Jax! We love your videos Eric. Keep them coming!
Yup, That's Oregon!! Wet,cloudy and dreary. Best times ever on beaches!
Beautiful cinema-photography. I live in southern California with access to numerous beaches within 30 min., however I really enjoyed seeing the Oregon coastline just gorgeous! Thank you for sharing a small part of your experiences. Hugs to Jax. Be well.
Good Sunday Morning, Mr. Jacobs;
Nice tour of the Cheese Factory! You have given me the desire to get back on the road again. So much to see and enjoy.
I love your videos!
Always anxious to see where you turn up next!😊
I'm so happy for you Eric. It looks like everything has fallen into place and I can tell that you are truly happy in this video. You are a big inspiration for my full-time RVing quest. I'm just waiting to mount a pair of new tires I bought for my '87 Toyota Dolphin and it'll be ready for the road. I live in Las Vegas and Oregon is one of the first places I will go since it's close.
That was awesome thanks for sharing....looovvee cheese 😀👍
beautiful views....thanks for sharing :-)
Nice...been there many times through the years, infact was just there with the grandchildren yesterday had ice cream, and bought some yummy smoked cheese, and smoked salmon and summer sausage.
Love Oregon for the rain and the beach drive. Enjoy.
Oregon is so beautiful. It's my favorite of the states I've been to.
My favourite cheese thanks for showing the plant
your living the dream Eric!!
I like how you take the time to just randomly stop and check things out. Kind of surprised you didn't walk out of there with bags of cheese curds :D
Im sure there were lots of samples :)
Love me some tillamook products!Such a nice video Eric.
Tillamook has the very best stick beef jerky on the planet! They are the industry standard! Love your RV vids, especially when I can hear rain on the rv. Thank you!
That is my favorite cheese by far. I love getting it from Oregon. It taste different then it does here in TX.
Tillamook and Sargento definitely make some delicious cheeses. A couple of my favs. Thanks for the great video Eric!
I really love, Oregon. Thanks
your videos keep getting better and better. I really like the music when your driving and stuff.
Keep up the good work buddy
wow...really cool views of the coast! you da man!
Oregon coast....I love it. every chance I get I head to the factory for some cheese. also, about 4 miles north is the Tillamook Smoker with jerky.
And you are on the 10 million views, congrats!
Awesome vid, Eric. Felt like I was there with you. Exceptional. I loved the colors of the town, your camera captures all the rich colors..you even captured the feeling of being in the cold, windy but beautiful day! And Tillamook Cheese? My favorite cheese! I buy sharp cheddar. Haven't tried their ice-cream..but I will. Thanks so much Eric. You're great!
+Nora Steel Sharp cheddar is what I had in the RV when I pulled in. Funny. :)
Great video, love the coastline even in the rain. I'm from Washington, too, so know the rain and don't mind it on some days. That's how everything stays so green back home. Never got to see the Cheese factory, that was interesting. On these rainy days, you can settle in and just enjoy some hot food, play video games, watch movies, and relax, it's all good once you find a spot to park yourself. Wish I was on the road again ...
Lived in Rose Lodge Oregon when I was very young which isn't far from Tillamook. Always seemed to be raining when I was going to school. Family left after the second grade. Thanks for the great video.
Another Great video. The music was also well done. Nice bit of work Eric you are an Artist.
Cannot wait to go and see this cheese factory ...great video
Thanks for the cheese tour Eric. My wife and I found Tillamook Cheese a few years ago and we still buy it and enjoy it.
+Rolling with the Walkers Love their pepperjack. A chunk of pepperjack, a honeycrisp apple, a thick slab of fresh French bread - that's lunch!
Ahhhhh!!! I was literally waiting for your reaction when you sampled the "Squeaky Cheese" which was the last one that was almost empty in the samples... That cheese texture and Sound when you chew it is just Soooo bizarre but really cool and "Querky" lol. Love the channel!!! ❤️
We did this same drive last year too, also enjoyed Tillamook factory! Fun times
Really appreciate your videos. I was going north on the Oregon Coast in my van two summers ago. You have a lot more nice places ahead of you as you move south. Try to go inland and visit Crater Lake, but don't miss any of the Coast. I saw a whole herd of Elk on the Oregon Coast, the biggest green blackberries ever, and lots of Oceanside parks/picnic areas/walks. Thank you for posting your videos! Tell Jax he's a star.
Wish we had some rain here in SoCal! What a wonderful journey you must be having. I like the ride along. Makes me want to hit the road. Taking walking tours is such fun, always learn something new, and tasty too. I dig your magnet board!
Glad you were able to enjoy the stormy Oregon coast. If you had driven down during the summer, we were in an unusual drought, so you would've seen plenty of sunshine. :)
Favorite video I've seen of yours. Always wanted to see the Tillamook cheese factory.
Love your Chanel. God bless you man
Another great video Eric..I allways honk the horn in tunnels too...:)I loved all the coast shots and the little town, and cheese factory was cool....You turned what most people would call a rainy day into a cool day trip....:)keep up the work, you make awesome videos,my Brother from another Mother...:)
Love cheese but never had tillamook. Can't wait to try it sometime.
Dude your so awesome Nomadic watching your videos is so inspiring give Jax big kisses.
Rain-X on that windshield would do wonders for the video on rainy days. Thanks Eric!
+RVFuture Ironically I do have rain-x applied - that's why I don't use the wipers often. But it appears that the camera out the window still looks blurred. Darn. I assure you, my view is fine. :)
Don't forget to reapply monthly - depending on how much you hit rain. Thanks again for sharing.
It might not have been a nice day with the rain but the views are amazing.
Nice video I really enjoyed the scenery, and I also enjoy rainy days sometimes they can be relaxing. Tillamook cheese is very good, and is sold locally here in the midwest.
Love the honking in the tunnel, I get that way too sometimes. Just have to do that.
+mike The Turnip Hard to resist!
Nomadic Fanatic Whut? I was thinking I was clicking on something too answerer you... did happend to report you to RUclips. Ever so sorry for my bad RUclips-skills-commenting.. feck. Don´t hate me ! Ah! There was an "regrete" :) Found out.

Tillamook also makes great ice cream too !
I went to Vermont back in 2008 got to see Ben and Jerry's ice cream factory. Not sure if you have been to the New England area fall is the best time to go we went 3rd week in October to Mystic Seaport, then to Burlington VT then drove down though smugglers Notch back to Salem MA. Stayed in a 1850's B&B home everything was decorated for Halloween. Also good place we stopped at was Yankee Candlestick Factory.
Incredible scenery!!!
Great opportunity to stock up! Grilled cheese burgers, etc.
Hi Eric,
Being a teacher,I just realized that your videos would be great for a Geography class! I get to see the USA with you.Places I have never been to. Thank-you so much! ;)

Luv the "Weed" magnet @ 11:41. lol :-)
+Vanmyster94 haha!
Beautiful coastline !
My wife tells me we drove right past the cheese factory. I wish I had seen it. I hope to go back this year and check it out. I understand how that happens when I sleep while driving my class A. (just kiddin!!!)
Despite the rain, some beautiful footage of the Oregon coast, Eric. But it looked so cold! Sure makes me grateful for central heating. As always, thanks for taking us along. (now I want a grilled cheese sammy!) (:
I picture Jax in the role of Keyboard Cat playing during the musical interludes.
+jonnytorch5855 And Eric on the skins.
at 8:00 I found it beautiful, rainy or not. Really enjoyed this video. Thank you for sharing it. :)
Visited Rockaway many years ago when I was travelling with my parents as a kid. Bucket List to get back there soon. (Soon as we can travel across the border that is)
Man, now I have to add Oregon to my list of places to visit!
That was nice Eric I been there to great ice cream. Thanks for the nice view.
Have you drivin through Napa Valley yet? It's so beautiful there. The vineyards offer free tours on how they make their wine (from growth of the grape plant to production of the wine). The restaurants are also excellent (because the chefs' are also the wine tasters). YUMMMY!
Tillamook Cheese is the best... We always stop on the way South with the ocean on the right and stock up while we enjoy Lincoln City.
The Smoked Cheddar is my favorite

+Linescrew1 Amazon ships! Wish I could get some Canadian cow down here! :)
+Nomadic Fanatic I buy BC cow every week at Publix
+Linescrew1 Sounds like an importer opportunity.
+Nomadic Fanatic You want some Canadian cheese or Canadian products? Let me know and I'll send you some in exchange for tillamook cheese! Lol
Awesome Cheese Factory!!! Makes me wanna go up to Frankenmuth and get some cheese, wine n chocolates.
Lol
Yeah; this is ANOTHER good example of things I enjoy: I've not been in a tourist trap for something like 30 years. :(
Slowly-but-surely, I'm eventually gonna be on the road, like you.
In Oregon: Person with umbrella = Tourist
love the Oregon coast, thanks. should be doing it in July ---- less wet i hope.
+SKPjoe Coursegold We a want to get back there. We didn't get to spend nearly enough time out there last summer.
I love their cheese its so good.....

Hi Eric, I'm a new subscriber & really enjoying your videos. Very informative & entertaining. I love Jax (your copilot). You're doing something I always wanted to do - get in an RV & travel around the country. It's a dream I haven't given up on & your videos will be very helpful. Good travels & keep going!
