Oh man! you're so good Dado. Nice features added and yeah that status led was really confusing. That duck tape plug is definitely my DIY level 😅 I will do it the exact same way! thanks for all these improvements. Hopefully this will be soon available also for Android. Floaty or VESC tool
Does the LCM require reflashing to use remote tilt? I’ve updated my float package and updated my Float Control app yet I don’t have the remote tilt function, nor do I see the flashlight icon
@@surfdado there’s no flashlight on my paid version though. Is it maybe a button or switch I need to click first? There isn’t any icon there where the flashlight should be
@@joemcclinton did you load custom LCM firmware with your ST-Link as described in my video? Are you running a recent float/refloat package and have set LED to external module in Float Cfg-Specs? All must be true for this feature to be enabled/working
First time I heard about duty cycle I thought it would be nice to have on my GT's battery status LEDs. When I finally get on VESC, thanks to you, I will already have this feature.
Was pretty awesome seeing this in person yesterday! I'll have to put my old iPhone 8 to use now. Also, thanks for this walkthrough Dado! I think may attempt to install a pin header for this.
Great update, i cant wait untill you smart guys figure out a way to update that lcm easier, i wouldnt mind paying for a "update kit" , an upgraded lcm board or a software kit+ v2 stlink pre wired.
Every time you come out with something new like this, im always so excited to try it out. Thank you so much for doing this for us!! That free floatwheel was well deserved!
just decide based on looks - that's the only difference really. The Pro also has 5 instead of 3 ride heights but they're really not needed - mine is the ADV
there is, but I wouldn't go the USB route requiring to secure the ST-Link inside the box, instead people have mounted a magnetic debug port connector on the outside of the box making it easily accessible (just remove the footpad) - floatwheel discord has more details
Lol - you really should contact someone about the floatwheel’s difficulty with magic flywheel - Im pretty sure there’s a 24 hour staffed hotline for addressing this most crucial function of the VESC experience . …what was your number again mate?

FloatControl pretty much has voice coaching so it’ll tell you exactly where you’re at above whatever threshold you set. Can tell you speed and/or duty cycle
I wish float control was available on android
Big Truth
Wow awesome
It’s great, the work done is great! I ordered the cable 😁 THANKS!
Awesome work man!!! Thank you!!! Imma be doing this soon to my fw, hopefully the floaty app will get some light controls soon too
It definitely will be once the LCM code is ready.
fantastic

Just waiting for dado to publish his LCM code changes.
Ok u convinced me, I'm getting a damn iphone so u can get ur royalties. Kidding lol. Awesome features man, thanks for sharing as usual!!
4:20 - Perfect timestamp for a blooper. 😂 Also, this is EPIC! A lot of people learning about the ST-Link lately. 🤙🏼⚡️🛠️
As always, thanks for your tireless work advancing the sport.
I am wondering how these duty cycle color changes will be for color blind riders. Not immediate relevant as I don't have an ADV or an iPhone.
The number of lit LEDs changes too…
Are the settings in VESC tool as well or is it iPhone only with FloatControl?
It's so cool that Tony gave you a board, great business sense. The remote looks good dude.

Fixed it discord.gg/nQZbvD9Em4

You do need to update the LCM. For remote just enable it in float settings
@@surfdado I can’t find where I enable the remote. I deleted and reloaded the app to make sure I was on the latest version.

Thank you for all of your work.
Will this work with the GT-V kit?
Pretty sure it won’t without changes
I can’t get the headlight feature to work. Did it go away?

I dunno why that was so funny but I laughed hard lmao

I did flash last firmware, big upgrade ! Thanks a lot for that, the others stuff and your support on the floatwheel discord.
Can you now install this with Bluetooth through the VESC Tool or do you still need to disassemble it and plug in?

Used the remote on the watch today and it was immediate as far as I could tell. Good job, nice app.

Fantastic..thx from Braham downunder..
Thanks for providing the video! Which model are you riding the ADV or ADV pro? looking at both, however I am undecided on which one to purchase.

Can't wait to get my board. As a dev I can't wait to get under the hood too!

Amazing stuff. Thanks for sharing.
Is the some space to install a permanent waterproof USB connector so you don't have to open the board?

I offer flywheel coaching sessions at $500 an hour via Zoom 😂
Mine does the magic just fine.
if you would connect the watch's circular meter button, that would be interesting for the remote tilt
considered it - but you need something that returns to zero when you let go...

Can we made this program work for rescue
Expect a unified lighting control interface for communicating to the various lighting solutions at some point in the future 👌
This sounds great but I'm never going to see a light bar at my feet. Is that available as an audible warning?
