Looking to purchase my first CNC -- Coming from the 3D printing / Laser Engraving world. Anyways, good video. Did you look at other CNCs? If so, which and why did you settle on the Shapeoko?

Choice should depend on the type of material you want mill. For aluminum a more rigid design would be best

We really liked the 5 Pro because of its favorable reviews and how easy its user interface was when from designing in CarbideCreate. Since I came from zero CAD experience and @Carbide3D has so many instructional tutorials on their site and their channel on RUclips. Although we haven't tried other hobby level CNC's out there, the Shapeoko 5 Pro was a great choice. Thank you for the feedback!
