    Super comprehensive explanation of this new accessory, and MUCH better presented than even 1F’s own video…haven’t received mine yet but this will be my setup reference video when it lands. Bravo 👏 and thank you!!

      Thanks so much. I was looking for a lot of this information and just couldn't find much out there. I hope others find this useful as well 😄

    I am somewhat confused but not really. 21,600 subscribers and only 14 thumbs up. Not a single comment from any of the thumbs up.
    It impressed me. I have one of those machines still in its box far pass its warranty. His shop is what was once in my dreams. I think, I might think about unboxing mine. Thanks
    The thumbs up think has me a bit confused? I once believed I read, that in ancient Rome if you got the thumbs up you were dead.

    What would cause my z height to be off .2 of inch. I've set mine up the same way as you described. I use probe to set xyz at first then after it changes bit it cuts about .2 inches deeper than first cut? I don't change bit until I'm prompted to do so.

    Do you have the cut file for the EaZy tool setter inlay?
    Can’t seem to program that cut

    How do you get the machine to come to the front for bit changes when prompted? Or did you just jog it to that position?

    • @EigenDesigns
      @EigenDesigns  4 месяца назад

      There’s an option to establish a “parking” position, which is where the CNC will go to when a bit change is needed. On the elite machines you can set this up in the F4 menu

    • @dwmade-woodshop
      @dwmade-woodshop 4 месяца назад +1

      I don't believe "parking" is the same as for the bit change. Parking would be after the program is complete. Check out Mitchell's woodworking you tube video (re the tool setter) and you will have to wait until the very end of the video for the portion about how to select the location for tool changes (preferably right above the tool setter). Check it out.

      I don’t recommend having your tool change position directly over tool setter as sharp pointed bits can sometimes fall out and an MDF spoil board is far more forgiving that a metal plate
