The killer feature for true earbuds for work would be ANC that can _effectively_ cancel human voice frequencies. Poly: Make me one of those and I will buy it.

Okay, wow. This thing has a ton of features. How freaking smart! I wonder why no one else has done everything they're doing. I've seen the USB-C to headphone jack feature, and I love that. I've actually seen all three, but not all in one device. How cool!

Important thing you forgot(or wasn´t allowed) to mention for workday earbuds is battery life. The buds themselves, without the case, need to be able to last a full 8-9 hour workday. Maybe even more, if i would want to use them on the commute as well.

Great review, thanks a lot! By the way, how do they fare sound- and noise cancellation-wise when stacked up against Sennheiser Presence? See, I currently own the Sennheiser Presence Grey UC BT and have been wondering whether I should be switching to the Poly Voyager Free 60+ UC, hence my question. Appreciate your help!

Still unsure of how real this video is. I usually trust your call on these but since this is a pricier pair of earphones, I'm a little sceptical. Though I do desperately need a paid of earphones for work with a good mic, so I will research on these more. Any other good options on that line for mic quality?

    • @JoeNokers
      @JoeNokers Год назад +1

There are no "good" wireless earbud mics, just shades of bad really. If your work is reliant on a good microphone then a wire is your friend

You are right, I have one or the LG Tone Wireless earbuds with the case that can be made to be a transmitter using 3.5 mm jack to USBC ( supplied with the earbuds). Useful in the aeroplane or can be used with a PC.

Another great review Mike! Sure it's a bit pricey, but for the versality factor totally worth it imo! I don't think I ever seen wireless earbuds like this, past and future proof. And I love the idea of being able to control the earbuds from the case itself instead of having to rely on the app. I'll be sure to put this earbud in my wishlist. 😊 Thanks again Mike for sharing!

  • @696969bold

A built in transmitter 😮 less to carry to BT to airplane media or a hotel TV or a work office computer with no audio (yes, that happens). I'm shopping around bc my Samsung Buds2 Pro have horrible call quality in a noisy environment (and others can hear a pin drop in a "quiet" environment).
SAMSUNG needs to get it together. It's one of the few things the Buds2 Pro fall short. Mike is right about how often wireless headsets are used for business activity (calls, virtual meetings, recordings).

Stick with the 5200. Just got the Free 60 several days ago and the mic quality is horrible. Very disappointing, 3 mics vs 4 mics and their performance outdoors is not even close. Stick with 5200. Not to mention you can’t use one at a time from my experience.

You made a point in the begging about the desk app, but you didn't showcase in the video 🤔. Also didn't talk about the battery at all. Makes you think especially when it's a sponsored video with input from the said brand/company🤔.
Edit: Oh yeah and the price is outrageous which is why is not mentioned in the video.

just wanna point out: the reason why you get multiple pairs of ear tips with earbuds is, so you can use DIFFERENT ear tip sizes in each ear to ensure the earbuds fit correctly in each ear! i.e you dont need to use the same size earbuds for both ears.

  • @someguynj

These are ok for PC but bad for calls on the phone. Microphones can't pick up voice over any ambient noise. They're ok with Teams or Zoom on PC. Also don't fit all ears well. Finding that they keep falling out for me regardless of which size tip. For the price they should be awesome at everything.

Honestly this feels like a gimmick. Wireless is cool for out and about due to convenience. But wireless sucks at a desk, bluetooth isnt reliable, mic quality sucks, batteries die and you cant use them whilst they charge and the added $$$ hurts. If you are sitting at a desk do yourself a favour and just get a wired pair with an inline mic. No flat bats, no connection drops, better mic quality.

This seems off from all of your videos. Sponsored is cool but having a company watch it beforehand seems so sketchy especially when it’s not disclosed in the video itself at the beginning has me and a lot of people disliking this. Going forward would not recommend this approach.

I would discourage anyone even thinking about these earphones. Do not buy! This is a waste of money - the buds are big and do not sit in your ears well nor comfortably - when you speak and move your jaw the buds will become loose which is annoying. Sound quality is mediocre - you will not enjoy music on these. Additionally when eveyrhing is silent you can hear electronic sounds- squicks and buzzes. This is annoying. For the price these are offered it is ridiculous. You are much better off with soundcore liberty 4 NC. I am using these buds now which fit much better in ear, do not get loose even if you speak or run with them. Sound is much better and microphone is comparable. No problems using these on msteams as well.
