Just came home from an EC concert. AWSOME!, everybody was so chill and happy. We sang along with every song they did. These guys are the best thing I discovered in 2022. You should check out some of there live videos. The crowds are so into the whole experience. I'm seeing them in August. It's going to be one big party an I can't wait. More EC please. They have so many great songs/videos to choose from.
Welcome to the wonderful world of partycore. There are plenty of bands in that style but I think Electric Callboy (formerly Eskimo Callboy) and We Butter The Bread With Butter are probably the two of the most well known partycore bands. Nico, the clean vocalist of EC, also has a feature on one of the band members side projects you should check out. The name of the band is Samurai Pizza Cats and the song is Pizza Homicide. Looking forward to more EC reactions though.
I discovered them by accident over a year ago and I absolutely love them. Their music is great, a lot of their music videos (especially the new ones) are super funny and they are really cool guys. Have seen them live in Cologne. I've been going to concerts for 30 years, but I've never experienced such a great atmosphere, it was absolutely amazing!
EC are a metalcore (more a pertycore band nowadays) Band from Germany (Castrop in the Ruhr Area) and they are around for more than 10 years with 6 albums in general. The latest one Tekkno jumped to the first place in the german billboard charts after they released it last year. Hypa Hypa was released in the peak of the Corona pandemic manly to cheer us up and also to introduce Nico as their new clean vocalist (replacing the old singer Sushi). So manly EC don't take themself very serious but they take their music and the business very serious. Most of their songs are goofy and funny, but they also have extremly good dead serious songs like Christals, The Scene or Best day (all three with Sushi on the mic) or with Nico Hate/ Love, Mindreader, Neon or Parasite. I would recommend to listen to some of their goofy songs, which were allready recommend but give their serious side a chance.
We got the moves, pump it, Fckboi, tekkno train, Mind reader, Spaceman…basically just react to the whole Tekkno album and I promise you will not be disappointed.
