I like your technique. Covering your head is something that professional fighters don't do enough of. Your moves are simple and you very much are teaching people to strike with parts of their body they won't break, ie, knees, elbows, and head. On top of ghat, this technique takes advantage of the fact most street fights are over very quickly, a lot of times with 1 person getting ko'd. Here, your goal is to not be the easy ko. And, when a fight starts, there is a rush of adrenaline. Your brain doesn't fuction well on adrenaline and tends to do what it knows, which can be really bad sometimes, like curling up in the fetal position. Here, when that initial dump of adrenaline hits, they are trying to be very active, which will literally help them desl with the adrenaline. That was always my problem, get in a fight, see red, all fighting style goes out the window because you can't think straight.
I Appreciate the Knowledge. The only problem that I'm 'having' is the notion that the [assailant] is in boxer stance, jabbing, weaving, etc. IME, in a streetfight, you're encountering a WINDMILL of flailing 'punches' .... hoping to learn best practice to neutralize that in order to apply RAT

What if I have two strikes going against me, such as, I'm 64 w/osteoarthritis in most of my body, and, the second strike is, I'd fallen nearly a year ago and I'd landed face forward on my right palm and had broken my wrist and I'm permanently disabled? What does one do in this case? In my heart, I'm innately a warriorous individual, although, at this stage in my life, I'm weak, however, I was always good at kicking, which is why I'd purchased a pair of steel toed Doc Marten boots, a few years ago, and I'd bought them specifically for this reason.

Not Bad Stuff But This Shit Is Only Good For Begginers The Fighters Can Jusr Adapt This Style.Tactics! And Ways To Get Better Plus This All Shit Gotta Need Modification And Lot of Development in It the Guard The Posture Its Like Muay Thai Stance Copy But The Way the Posture is You Can Pull Out Your Elbow Infront of a Jab More Frequently Soo Your Stuff Isn't That Bad Good Work!.....👍
The ability to fight is something you earn through rigorous training, conditioning and ample amount of hard sparring ... You cannot possibly expect anything to work unless you're lacing up a pair of gloves and actually putting it to practice, that means taking punches from someone who's actually trying to hurt you and dishing it back, this is a venture, for some a lifelong endeavour, not something you watch and practice in front of your TV and expect to work when you need it to, you're better off buying a gun or a blade if you're really not passionate about the art ... the ability to gauge distance correctly to land, the development of reflexes, getting comfortable with the idea of getting hit where you're not flinching and closing your eyes when someone throws and just getting over the concept of loading up and telegraphing takes years of practice to become efficient ... i've been involved in Muay Thai for 15 years now and its proven in the ring on a daily basis and in times of war before rifles were even a thing ... I've been boxing for another 6 on top of that and i can tell you without actually getting in the ring and going 3 rounds once a week with 3 days of constant training you're not gonna gain anything from it.
I’d rather know Kajukenbo just as dirty but you know how to destroy anything thrown in your direction your spending to much energy when that person could be on the ground a quadriplegic
im not feeling this at all,i cant see how this is practical street fighting methods even with the good use of elbows, i can not carry on watching this,if you think will work for you then carry on,52 blocks would be best for people who can not fight, rember you are watching this for defence??? you are not a fighter, two very different things. check out 52 blocks or check out vee aj ju jisitsu. this is not for defence this is for trained fighter to add onto there arsenal. so break down 52 blocks is a fighting style, learn that and if you can boxing and wrestling, then watch vee aj ju jistsu. hope this helps those who are here for defence only.
@@FightFast fair enough i see the 52 blocks influence to be fair but as for the rest of it,i stopped watching i will check out other video and thank you for pointing it out,it did feel off on first impression,as all i could see was 52 blocks in a rat system.
I've clearly picked the wrong video lmao I'm looking for self defense for the street. This is more for a ring or mat fight. I'm a chick working w ebonic-speaking sub-humans on North & Pennsylvania Avenue in the heart of Baltimore city lmao nobody down there announces their attack while coming atchya w their hands over their heads!! Smfh I'm taking about real life situations. I'll keep looking tho! Hopefully this helps the ppl in the ring--certainly looks effective for such a thing. I'm a white girl in an all black city-- the help I need is gonna be a tad bit different I think?? Maybe I'm wrong?
@@laurencestacey2071you think a white girl is gonna have the same issues in a Chinese or German neighborhood? Some stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason. She’s just trying to not get mugged or r@ped
The "destruction" presupposes that your opponent will throw punches at you while he's out of range. Such theoretical flaws are a typical characteristic of fantasy based martial arts...
Fortunately my feet are never nailed to the floor. Managing distance is one of the most critical factors of fighting. If you are managing your distance properly one step backward puts you out of range.
@@FightFast Sure, your not standing still but neither is your opponent. Unless he’s extremely inexperienced, he’s not going to fire his punches until he is in range. This makes it almost impossible to channel those punches into your elbow. Moreover, if one is focused on destroying incoming punches it could potentially distract from essential head movement. This could potentially leave the practitioner more vulnerable to well-executed strikes.
I’m not even sure what you are talking about - first: this is not a complete video on his destruction, second he is demonstrating so the movements are “ out it range “ and “perfect looking “. Destructions / nerve destructions ( more closer range ( like hits to forearms and biceps) etc are not easy but are a tool . Like spinning kicks , on paper they are the worst moves and yet they can work . Of course short range hits are a big part of Bruce Lee JKD… so I guess you need some good attributes to make them work
Come for me ! I WILL NOT HIT YOU, for it hits you all by itself. my training is ingrained, i dont think, IT simply reacts. 40 yrs in karate, kickboxing, mua thai, and Real Krav Maga. Bruce lee was right in his interpretation in enter the dragon, you come to a point in your martial arts ability when you simply do not think about what to do, your body simply reacts all by itself and does accordingly. if i am attacked martial arts takes over, i dont call or think about it, its instantly there appropriately reacting to whatever incident, its almost like having a 2nd person with you always and you call him martial art. almost like a bodygaurd , you only get to this level after years and years of martial art conditioning. it becomes like riding a bicycle, you no longer think, you simply do.
In street fight fence first control distance use taik lf some ones closeing distance the figjt on you have to hid first forget joint locks for get arm bars you do not want your hand s full for high kicks maybe low stamp kicks knee put love the vedlo.above followed him for years look he traind navy seals thats says lt all and guy thats vedlo is no good needs look at this guy he done for really and rat system is best out there by far you see you can train kick boxing karate put all these are sports with ruiles street fighting differant no bell no ruiles any thing goes that why rat system ends fight fast as he said you canot trade bombs punches with people lts very hard to get the mind set of street fighter becausethere nastty bite nose bite ear smash bottle over your head put win against them you hzve build that mindset

"Rats are known to not only survive nuclear bombing in the past, but also were completely unaffected by ill effects of high levels of nuclear radiation. In simple words, rats are tough and extremely stubborn creatures."
Bro i don't think destruction is going to work against push kick
Self defense rat solder self defense own skills to protect own body
Now show people pressure testing any of this in sparring.
@8:55 is hilarious
Paul? I thought this was Tony Hawk.. 😂
Changed my mind...it's a reincarnated Steve McQueen 😅
Instructions unclear. I am now a rat.
Not Bad Stuff But This Shit Is Only Good For Begginers The Fighters Can Jusr Adapt This Style.Tactics! And Ways To Get Better Plus This All Shit Gotta Need Modification And Lot of Development in It the Guard The Posture Its Like Muay Thai Stance Copy But The Way the Posture is You Can Pull Out Your Elbow Infront of a Jab More Frequently Soo Your Stuff Isn't That Bad Good Work!.....👍
Is this a freaking dance class ? They’re so far apart I can’t visualize how any of this would actually work.
Why the negativity?!
I can see a jabs telegraphing
Lolololol . Real special
🍿
Unless you’re using destructive shin kicks try this with a real boxer and you’ll get destroyed. Think peak a boo style Tyson.
Tyson would melt my elbow. lol
Talked a lot without saying anything
🙏Om
I’d rather know Kajukenbo just as dirty but you know how to destroy anything thrown in your direction your spending to much energy when that person could be on the ground a quadriplegic
Your open from the waist down !
Rat will survive don’t forget the roaches too.
Talking your opponent to death...🤣

Wht is the...
I’m sorry but with jab demonstration, why does this look like he’s trying to get his ass kicked with this move?!
im not feeling this at all,i cant see how this is practical street fighting methods even with the good use of elbows, i can not carry on watching this,if you think will work for you then carry on,52 blocks would be best for people who can not fight, rember you are watching this for defence??? you are not a fighter, two very different things. check out 52 blocks or check out vee aj ju jisitsu. this is not for defence this is for trained fighter to add onto there arsenal. so break down 52 blocks is a fighting style, learn that and if you can boxing and wrestling, then watch vee aj ju jistsu. hope this helps those who are here for defence only.
@eustraydc5902 Ummmmmmmmm we have 500 52 blocks videos up... we have a whole bunch of different tips up for many different tips and situations.
@@FightFast fair enough i see the 52 blocks influence to be fair but as for the rest of it,i stopped watching i will check out other video and thank you for pointing it out,it did feel off on first impression,as all i could see was 52 blocks in a rat system.
Solar plexus…..
A little racist aren't we. Maybe you are the problem.
@@REGGAEcizeracist or realist. She’s not gonna have the same problem in a town of Japanese or Swiss 🤡🌎
This is a very racist statement and reveals the depth of your ignorance. You'd be better served finding an instructional video to deal with that.
@@laurencestacey2071you think a white girl is gonna have the same issues in a Chinese or German neighborhood? Some stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason. She’s just trying to not get mugged or r@ped
@@DerekCastleSr.stereotypes exist for dopes like you to reveal their racism. That is all.
Of course short range hits are a big part of Bruce Lee JKD… so I guess you need some good attributes to make them work

what attic did you find this in from the 1990s?
I think it's from the 80's actually.could be wrong
Is this a joke l?
Don't be the victim Be the assailant to the assailant
He Talk Too Much😂Who Throw Punches Like That😂
Go hamster style like on Orgasmo😂
We been fighting like this in the hood since the 90's,maybe the crackhead war vets put us on idk but i thought i was about to learn somethin smh
