I love the details that you give. A lot of sites are good for general details but I often come away feeling like I’m missing something. But you are very thorough…thanks!
I used to teach computer classes years ago. So I kinda have that still in me to show all the details I can. I'm glad the videos help you! Thanks for leaving such a great comment! 👍
I just cleaned my 06 Rubicon 4.0L and after hunting everywhere for an IAC housing gasket (because I am the kind of guy that if I don't have every possible base covered I always seem to need the parts that I didn't plan on replacing) I found that the 06 IAC housing doesn't come off the throttle body. The 06 also has a different IAC but the process and everything else is the same.
Thank you for your help and advice!
Outstanding information... Thanks 👍
You are welcome! Glad you enjoyed the video and found it helpful!!
Thanks for the vid. Appreciate it.
You are welcome!! Hope it helps.
Hi, i have a xj 1992. I clean the throtle body and the iac valve. But don t solved the irregular high idle and some missefire sometime wile runing. O2 sensor?
Start checking for vacuum leaks. Check for cracking in vacuum hoses .. leaks under the throttle body gasket, anywhere the engine can suck in air except for the throttle body blade its self. Sometimes ... but .. very rare .. there can be gunk build up erratically holding the throttle body blade open.
Have y'all got lots of wild turkey where you live sir
The property I hunt on does. I live in a subdivision so I don't see them often in my neighborhood. Although they have came through a few times.
I put a 4.0 TB on my 2.5. Will that change the idle rpm?
No it shouldn't as long as you don't have any vacuum leaks.
If you really want to piss off the snowflakes, you can make a new gasket from a cereal box😂
Lol .. done that many times!! I'll try to remember to do that on my next gasket change.
Have you ever ran into an issue that your yj cuts off when you hit a bump?
I haven't personally. But I were to be having issues like that I'd be checking all the ground connections first.

Glad you enjoyed it!
