Thank you Sophie, for sharing this. I love watching your sketchbook pages and would love to see more of behind the scenes and you doing a painting. I love playing in my sketchbook, I have different sizes, also a small one of Seabright of Brighton, really love them. And for me it’s just playing, having fun, experimenting, trying complete nee, different things. And that’s so relaxing, because it doesn’t have to become masterpieces, it’s just for myself. And sometimes I feel so happy with a new sketchbook painting that it can be a larger painting on paper or canvas. Anyway, that’s my sketchbook experience, thanjs again for sharing, really love it 🩷🩵🩷
Oh thank you so much! A fellow Seawhite lover haha 😂- I agree it’s so much fun and a chance to stretch ourselves too…I’ll be doing more of these videos then! X
Hi Sophie! Thankyou for being so generous and honest in sharing your work and thebeginnings of your sketchbook practice. You have certainly worked you magic on me and I would like to join you in committing to this practice, not just for my art practice, but for my over-all wellbeing. Thank you! X
Yes as I mentioned in the video the first couple of weeks it was easier to do in situ, then my travels got to hectic and so I’ve worked back from reference photos I took on the rest of the trip…😉😍

I’ve enjoyed this video very much. What a beautiful memory if this time in your life. What is the name of the sketchbook you’ve used please?
Oh thank you Hayley. Yes they are Seawhite sketchbooks; it’s a British company but I think we can get them on Amazon here too xx
I am assuming that many of the sketches are done from your photo sources... would that be correct?
