Don't you think dogs would be barking if an alarm went on, alerting her furthemore?
The real truth is the officer, after seeing the big dog sign (assuming he was really there due to alarm notice), decided he's better than animals and trespassed, firing a SINGLE shot to stop 2 dogs from attacking him (I hope you noticed how sound goes off on the clip when he shots, trying to hide the fact he shot only once). If he could stop 2 with one bullet, why didn't he think to shot in air first as a warning? He'd get the same result.
In a honest court, he'd be asked if any burglar and sign of trespassing were found, and if he was harmed. Since the 3 answers were no, he must had been charged and suspended, by law and by righteousness.

I agree with you on this particular situation, but I think the,
"pathetic. poeple love to hate on the cops now cuz it's the mainstream, civil rightsy thing to do",
was totally unnecessary and such an indignantly reductive response to important civil rights issues that affect some people. Just because it's mainstream and people like to talk about it "now" doesn't mean there isn't merit to the topic; Which actually points to a larger problem, in that these issues aren't actually "new", they just are "now" being brought to light more often. Maybe these "civil rightsy" issues don't directly affect you or maybe you don't feel as if it's an important topic, but I think it's lazy to co-opt questionable civil complaints with legit ones and just wash your hands of them all with dismissive phrases like "civil rightsy thing", as if we have been living in an all inclusive, non-discriminatory, and equally just society this whole time. I wish the people that are skeptical about the government would apply the same skepticism to law enforcement (part of the same government). I wish the people that exercise their right to criticize the president would consider the rights of other citizens to criticize law enforcement. (Some of these people I grew up with and/or are my friends).I also wish that people would understand that police officers are government officials that work for the state. Citizens pay part of their salaries and more importantly citizens also pay part of the settlement costs when law enforcement is guilty of wrong doing (5 Million in four years in Baltimore alone). So pardon the pathetic people for being so "civil rightsy" and stuff.
there are people who exercize their civil rights(or would like to exercize them) for the right and legitimate reasons. i have no problem with those, i am one. but when people, "pathetic people, with pathetic intentions, who are more or less looking for an excuse to act out without consequence because they use the banner of "civil rights" i will call them just what they are, pathetic. everyone who claims to be using their civil rights definitely are not. i will never "pardon" legitimately pathetic people. you seem bright, so you know exactly what i'm saying. not all cops are good, but in the same breath i can definitely say, not all cops are bad. civil rights is one of the most important things we have in the US. i say "civil rightsy" in the text of how it is wielded by people who use it as an excuse to escape accountability under the guise of actual civil rights.
