Ashley, your work on the documentary about the Quinault Indian Nation is nothing short of extraordinary. You have crafted a beautiful tribute to the history, culture, and resilience of your people, bringing their story to life with such depth and reverence. The way you have captured the spirit of the Quinault Nation-its members, its lands, and its enduring commitment to conservation-speaks volumes about your dedication and love for your heritage.
Your narration was not just informative; it was a heartfelt connection that guided viewers through the rich tapestry of your tribe's past and present. The visuals were stunning, capturing the raw beauty of the Olympic Peninsula and the sacred lands that your people have protected for generations. You honored your ancestors and community with a film that not only educates but also inspires.
This documentary is a gift, a powerful reminder of the strength and wisdom of the Quinault Nation. Your efforts have ensured that this story will be shared and remembered, not just within your community, but by all who are fortunate enough to experience it. Thank you for your incredible work and for honoring your people so beautifully.
It has been 40ish years since I was in the area. Thank you for the trip down memory lane. I am my wife's caregiver and my fishing trips have been curtailed for awhile. I will come back there someday and tell you my story of when I was there. ( Choctaw roots.)
Im glad you loved it. siokwil
Great video Ashley as a Christian man I love the spiral connection you have with your roots. God bless you and keep walking strong and I pray over your tribe and your community.
Thanks for sharing part of your story. Those of us who are lucky enough to grow up in the PacNW truly understand how we gravitate back to our roots.
This is excellent, Ashley! Really beautiful work!
Thank you, Ashley when I see that area. I'm reminded of the time spent with my friend Pete. Wawasik and our trips to his families land on the river.
Hopefully we will see you soon.
God bless you and your family

Glad you enjoyed it!
This episode was so great! Can't wait to hear more voices and stories from your community!
DANG! A day late to the party! I'm Gel Ass! I've heard char (Bull/Dolly's) don't taste very good. Maybe depending on the water. That char is a Oregon 10 pounder as one of your tribal members joked on a Addicted episode!! 😅 Beautiful scenery. Would love to toss a Fly or a Spoon there!! Great video!! Peace 🕊️☮️♾️😎
Cool this lady rocks....
Part II WOW!! Epic statement!! How do you Adapt? You can't adapt to the NOTHING!! You can't adapt to the depletion of EVERYTHING!! Sadly GONE is the sign for Action! ☮️
This was fun to watch. Glad to come across you're video. Good work!
Awesome video thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching
Great video! Thank you for sharing this.
That bird in the background at 5:03 sounds so beautiful, I absolutely love be in nature!!
Great job.
This was a really well-done video. I love the history lesson and her passion for being an angler. There is some good fish down here in Oregon. One of my best friends and brothers who I served with in the Army is a guide on the rogue. His name is Tyler Gordon, and as he says, he will put you on the fish, but he can't catch em for you. If you are ever down in our neck of the woods (Grants Pass), give him a call during the steelhead run, and you will tag out on some hogs. Tell him Chaddy sent you and bring Tater with you. Sorry if i spelled his name wrong. I think I found a new favorite channel.
Thank you for sharing this awesome vid!
Thank you for sharing love your channel and Contents.
I used to service an ozone generation system used to sanitize the fish production lines right there in Tohola
Bless you and your friends and your family.

My god she is absolutely gorgeous..😮 and she is an amazing cook and fisherwoman 😮😊
Thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Much love and respect to you and tater I’d love to go salmon fishing with you two someday huge fan here
Where do you guide Ashley and what time of year? Guessing you're busy with school most of the time.
My wife right here!
I saw that cork floating in the bottle. One of you forgot the corkscrew didn't you? Been there many times, and you cooked mussels just the way I like them. That goes for the fish as well, what was it by the way, you told us what it wasn't. How did you kill it? Is there any ritual around the killing and cooking of wild food? I thoroughly enjoyed this documentary and particularly liked the way you compared your life to the cycle of a salmon, leaving home in order to return to it. Thank you for sharing.
HAHAHHA I was wondering if anyone would catch it!! Fish was a native char!
Fantastic video! Now let’s do one in historic Gold Country Ca!
That is a GREAT idea
@@BadAshOutdoorslet me know if you need help… My wife and I live in Auburn and I love to fish
I would like to see the
creeks & rivers produce quite a bit more salmon & and steelhead in the areas of the tribe fisheries and not be crowded shoulder to shoulder on the rivers.
I've been waiting to watch this!!!
Wait... Did you get a new raft?!!!
Can't wait for the Episode 2!!!
Fancy skins
