Hasn’t blizz stated multiple times they want ultimates and key passives to feel extremely impactful? I think making all the other passives better would be better than nerfing gushing wounds since if they nerf that plus hemorrhage what does Barb have? Bash cleave is gutted in ptr, thorns got gutted, overpower kinda sucks, ww nado needs bleed in the endgame so what build do we have?
I only see QoL for Barb... Finally my 2-button Barb is possible. Frenzy for attack, defense shout for survival, -CD on attack to spam the shout. And thx to new items, frenzy finally gets in-build Berserk!!!!!!!! (more movement speed, thorns, effects) So my two button barb will shine in session 5. Combos are for the weak, who do not trust there frenzy!!!! You only shout that your targets come faster into you fist range.

Holymoly people are really angy because barb is strong in a PvE game. I mean, i get that it's annoying that others aren't strong or as strong but that shouldn't be at the cost of another thing. :| Im still waiting for my boulder shred druid to pop off. And my Only-Mage bone necromancer build (which has been surprisingly good actually..). My main issue will forever be that some things just don't work. Synergies between glyphs/aspects/uniques are just flat out broken. Make boulder a core spell -> Make shred storm spell -> spamming shred casts boulder -> add hurricane boulder lego -> epic teleporting spinny boulder druid? Nope, it's broken. >:( I'm so pissed that this didnt work. I played around with it manually and had a ton of fun but the fact that i had to cast boulder manually and then get spirit to spam Shred was so annoying.
I’ve always said, in order to even the playing field, give Druid, Sorc, Necro 2 more item slots, and Rogue gets 1 more. The other factor is, Barb can equip 2 Two-handed weapons when other classes can’t.
Barb is always strong because every season he has one or even a few broken passives in paragon or skill tree. If you look back, you'll see that all the popular barb builds in the past are now crap. Mediocre at best. If you look at the class without those 1-2 broken builds, you'll see that barb isn't really as strong as you like to describe it.
@@raminol8110 The broken top end builds all get nerfed, thats why they are crap now. But there is always something new popping up with every mechanic that gets introduced. Also consider that Barb has by far the easiest leveling experience where you literally do not even need Aspects to feel overpowered (regardless of whether youre using a broken Bash build or something relatively tame like Double Swing or Upheaval)

idk man, baba builds on D4 always looks fking ugly to me... give me a real whirlwind rend stuff or big berserk + Hota spam, or the leak quaking shit, SOMETHING SPECTACULAR TO SEE!!
D4 would be so much more fun if you actually needed multiple abilities and some actual skill to fight encounters with some actual identity. Not the brainless infinite spam 1 button to win mode. Maybe I'm just not a fan. Is PoE beter in that regard?
I dont get why people complain about the barbarian being a strong class. Y'all realize you can play any class you want? As a baseline, i would also expect a pure melee class to scale more end game given the inherent debuff that melee classes get for being melee.
You and I might have no problem playing Barbs every season, but some only have time to play one class and they are not interested in barbs or they just would rather play something like a druid. Its preferable for all the classes to be uber every season, but I can see it getting old when one is the top a bunch of seasons in a row. For what its worth I like both Sorcs and Rogues more myself.

PS i bought this game (payed 100 euros lmao) only to play barb, but i like only hota and want to play only hota (but not this 3 shouts+bers boring builds), im suffering too.... hope we all get what we want, one day....
People like you always look for some meta, for some broken builds that should not even exict in the game. You accept that meta and start thinking like if the barb clearing 100pit for 3 min with some broken passive abuse that every other class should. If you wan to follow the meta - then play those broken meta builds. If you wanna play - play, no one stoping you. You creating that barrier by yourself. Look at the barb non meta builds. Godslayer crown is better than grasping ww with how easy it is to stun enemies as a barb. It procs more.
They tripled the effect on the PTR, it's quite consistent now.
