Hey! Sorry for asking, you don't need to respond if you don't feel like it, but how is the retinal detachment surgery recovery going? I have pretty bad retinal degenerations in both eyes so I guess that some day I'll have to go through it, and it's interesting and surprising to find someone of my age with this same issue... You're so strong, really, I hope everything is going great for you! If you ever need a stranger to talk to, here I am haha. I think even though I still haven't had a detachment, we have probably gone through similar thought processes and fears when it comes to this issue... Big hug from Spain !
Hey! I'm doing a ton better! I'm about 2.5months post surgery and my eye has almost completely healed. On the outside its almost at point where you can't tell that i had surgery. There is still a little bit of fluid preventing my retina from being fully reattached but the doctor said that should go away in about 2 months and then i can get new glasses! But overall doing well thanks so much for checking in - you will be completely fine if you have to go through it as well :)
