For those that don't read French, the sign at 7:53 says, "fenced zone next 7 km. In case of intrusion, dial 511." presumably from moose, which are quite common in that area. This looks like a great drive. Thanks for sharing.
Freeway Franks I'm teaching myself French. While I wouldn't describe myself as fluent, I can read a news article or watch a video in French and understand most of what is being said. I guess Rosetta Stone really works.
Thats great ! If you ever have any questions about French, feel free, even if I am not perfect myself as a Francophone nor I am a teacher :P Are you from USA ? Cheers!
I live in Quebec. The city name it's make me laugh is ''La Tuque'' it's mean '' The Toque'' I love you're channel, yours video make me want to discover many road in Canada. Will you make a video in any Western Province?
Let's go A85 from New Brunswick to the northern end east of Quebec City!! All 100 km of A85 will be a reality within the next few years at this time (2023).
Speaking of strange names, I have seen some strange road names before, especially in the state of Michigan! In Michigan there is a number of funny road names, especially along the Interstate 94 corridor. In Kalamazoo, for example, there is a road named “Sprinkle Road,” and just west of Ann Arbor there are roads named “Dancer Road” and “Zeeb Road!” 😆😅😂🤣😝😜🤪😁😄
Great video, Frank. Last time I drove through here they were still working on twinning the section along Lake Temiscouata. Is the construction plan to twin the entire thing and eliminate the 185?
Thank you my friend ! They are starting to twin the last section between St-Louis du Ha ! Ha! and Rivière-du-Loup (40km) this year to complete it around 2020 - 2021
Maybe someday you can stitch together all of your TCH videos and show us the whole country, coast to coast! 😁 Did you have a dry spring? The grass is all brown, which is different from what I am used to seeing in your videos. Here we have had more rain than we know what to do with. I read in the paper today that our yearly rain total as of May 7 is where we usually would be at All Saints Day. So we are almost 6 months ahead!
That would be quite the video, you should bring lots of popcorn lol And no, our Spring was mostly rainy and cloudy, we even got severe floods in the Montréal area... The main reason why the Grass was still Brown in my video, is because the Snow has just melted a couple of days before I went there. Excuse me but, what is your area ? Thanks for watching !
Thank you על גלגלים On Wheels ! :) I am biaised but yes, I think it's worth visiting at least once in your lifetime. It depend what you prefer to see. Mountains? cities? Ocean shores? Thanks for watching !
Well there not much population there so its normal, but in the summer it can be really busy and the 185 is too crowded and have a lot of dangereous curves. This is why they decided to make a freeway.
Nope, we are extremely lucky this year ! ... but the floods were alot more severe in the area where I grew up on the North shore of Montréal. Fortunately, the water level is going down at the moment.
effectivement!
Very relaxing and interesting video, I love it! Thanks for posting.
Thank you very much ! Feel free to check out my other videos, they're all of this kind :)

Very nice. Love the meandering hills and the sections along the water along this ride. Cheers!

"Saint-Louis-du Ha! Ha!" has just gone to the top of my list of favorite town names, knocking "What Cheer" (Iowa) into 2nd place!😀
There ya go !! You should take a closer look to the rest of the province and its village names, you'll find many other gems lol

Piapot, Saskatchewan is one of my faves.
Cars should just go this fast all the time
Unfortunately, my car could not handle it ! lolllllll

It was about time!
It looks a lot like A-10 through Orford and A-55 north of Sherbrooke except for the parts where it runs through towns
Yes absolutely. It only lacks taller hills in the background compared to A10.
Bonnie video Franks. Cette une très belle autoroute. Ce région du Québec est très panoramique.
russian? spanish?
Thank you Scott, it was indeed well designed IMO. It's an all year long fine drive to do :)
Superbe! :)

nice video. I always like strange names to help remember them.. There's a place nearby here too called "Minnehaha".
Thanks Phil :) And I'll always remember the village of ''Gimli'' because I was a fan of the Lord of the rings :)

@@thomashong2938 At least, they're working hard on this!

J'aime le Québec :-)
you are alive
And Québec loves you :D
I never thought I would be interested in highways
I was not until I discovered this community more than 10 years ago !
Holy smokes, 7:45 looks like a 20% slope (though I think it's only 4% in reality).
It's crazy how a camera zoom can distort the reality lol
Fantastic!!
Merci :)
De rien.
Will we have Le PetiT Témis bike trail , one day ?
Que veux tu dire Nicolas?
Very interesting trip. Canada is beautiful and interesting. Maybe I'll visit Canada one day. Thank you! Greetings from Israel

Oh I see! Thanks for watching!
The freeway is so lonely and deserted.

matthew dumaresq Yep, that is why Quebec doesn't finish the highway yet.
Yeah, just as Matthew stated, that was really filmed off-season.
Nord pour aller à Rivière-Du-Loup sud pour aller au Nouveau-Brunswick
Exactement Luka!

Great idea, I will.
EY!!! What do they have against Saint Louis??? They get an ass kicking in a baseball game or something?
I seriously don't know :( .. that was probably founded well before the Saint-Louis Baseball team LOL :P
Superb :)

Thank you dear Irish friend :)

As-tu supprimé l'ancienne vidéo de la 85 ? :O
