I bought this tripod a few months ago, the legs needed tightening regularly and a few days ago the ball head fell off, the little hook fell out as the nut wasn't secured properly. The service department is so difficult to deal with.
Yes the weights the only real downside, although in reality I think it's still in line with the likes of Manfrottos travel tripod weight. But for some people weight is critical, I'll probably stick with the 2335 as it's only for traveling abroad and I need weight at an absolute minimum
It's an international site, it just defaults the currency to dollars but you can change it to GDP in the options - and they have free shipping worldwide
