Mark! Great video and it was a real cool day out in the marsh, fishing the first time from a kayak. With all that wind I had to fight keeping the yak in position and was impressed how stable you could keep your position. Since I've read comments asking for the gear used, here is mine: conquest 201 spooled with 15 lb Powerpro, paired with a Rainshadow SWT70M-3 Graphite/Glass travel blank, spiral wrapped with Fuji Concept Alconite guides.the blank is rated for specled trout, 10-17 lb and 1/4 to 3/4 oz.
I don't mind taking anyone fishing. I just have to be cautious of their intentions. I met Bruno at the launch by chance and we talked fishing for a while. All red flags went away and I gave him the invite.
That is my primary launch point. Looks like focused on Titlum Tatlum. I tend to take a left and head further up Cold Pass towards Christmas Bay. Enjoy the videos! Your excitement is contagious!
MDLR Fishing you can find the name on the Hook-n-Line maps (e.g., Freeport Area). Also, next time at the county park, there is a historical marker between buildings giving some interesting Civil War era history on Titlum Tatlum.
One of my favorite places to fish along the coast. Many different species of fish make that water home. I was there a few weeks ago and the tide was crazy high and we worked areas that I have never seen underwater. Was not a very productive day, but fun to say the least. Nice job Mark!
Just saw the video. Outstanding. It is nice to see someone reaching out to others that share a passion for fishing. I commend you for taking Bruno out. Keep up the great work
they're a blast, if you don't like the service at your local dealer. Look up and call Three Belles Outfitters and let them know I referred you. If you want to try one out, message me on facebook or instagram and we can arrange to meet again on the water.
Mark, I am a new subscriber to your channel and really enjoy your videos. I have a PB and love fishing but to be honest I could use some help lol if you ever would like to go fishing let me know, maybe you could teach me a thing or two. Thanks again for the videos!
in this video I was using my freshwater setups. One was a Bass Pro 5' Microlite rod paired with a Shimano Sahara 500 series reel and the other is a Shimano 6'6" Expride light action Rod paired with a Shimano Stradic Ci4 reel 1000 series.
You asked if I upgraded my Outback seat with the Jackson. I stated that I have the Hobie Vantage CT seats. You then asked if the Ascend seat will fit. I answered the only seat I knew will fit is the Jackson.
Indeed, a beautiful day that pir Lord has made for you and Bruno to go fishing! Kudos to Bruno on his "Texas Slam"! I do recommend that you provide ypur listeners and supporters your fishing gear or regimen. One man I subscribe does this regularly and his audience love him for that. Other than that, tight lines and be safe always! ;)
I work and fish at West Point and have watched most of your video's since finding your channel 2 months ago. I am considering buying a kayak because of you since I mostly fish alone. I like the seat on the kayak Bruno was on. Could you tell me the name of the seat? Thanks and Looking forward to more of your video's
It’s the Vantage seat, super comfy and fully adjustable. Check out Three Belles Outfitters and I’m sure they’ll take special care of what you need. Thanks for the support.
I've been thinking about doing a lures tourny for a small meet and greet style get together. Just some small stakes fun on the water. On my next trip out I'll ask the question and depending on feedback I may do it.
No need bud you fish a lot of same areas I fish in galveston hv gotten some good pointers from you and be carefull fishing that side of Moses lake you where fishing the other day that marsh is great have fished it for years but last weekend me and three other yaks got caught out their with bullets flying over are heads from gun range I had to call range so we could get the hell out of their

I've tried finding that name on maps but can't. I've heard others also call it that too.

Thanks for the support! To be honest I’m an average fisherman that gets to go fishing a lot and have been lucky a time or two.

Hey mark how about doing a RUclips viewers fishing tournament for beginners just for bragging rights?
I've been thinking about doing a lures tourny for a small meet and greet style get together. Just some small stakes fun on the water. On my next trip out I'll ask the question and depending on feedback I may do it.
I suck at lures but I'm down. keep us posted.

MDLR to be named "Fishing Ambassador to ALL of Europe"!!!
(no sense limiting your skills to one country)
~Tight Lines~
lol
Good video mark just a little too long
DO YOU ABLE TO DO A "hair tail fish" FISHING?
I really don't target them. If I catch one it's usually by mistake.
Good Video! Semper Fi!
