You my man keep me coming back to watch your vids. Your real, not conceded, commercially motivated just a regular guy like me. To do it for the love of it and encourage others as well. The added bonus? Your a x military patriot! Rock on brother
When fishing mullet hook thru the eye/mouth to keep on the bottom or hook thru mid body if you want them to work the lower middle column of the water. Free lining mullet is KILLER in the green deep water !
I've been fishy SLP since 1991 & have caught some nice Morgan's there. It's my primary spot to fish that rarely lets me down usually to my own mistakes/learning curves. My personal best has been a 35" tout there but have caught many in the 19" to 28" slot. Great to see you hooking up.
Came over to my side of the street again. Love that side of the bay good safe place for the girls. Good fishing thanks for sharing with us. Tight lines
Haven't watched in over a week so i can sit with my coffee and get a little binge watch on your vids. Always enjoyable to watch your channel you're always positive and upbeat fun to watch have a good day and stay Jimmy from North Attleboro Massachusetts
Yee Haw! Nothing beats a PB, and brother you SLAYED one today! All joking aside, I do believe that was THE LARGEST Speckled Trout I've seen! Oh and nothing wrong with taken a flounder or two for thee plate - Cookin' & Eaten's always a fine addition - especially when you invite US for dinner!
cool video - might mention when and where you are fishing and depth. If you don't want to give your launch and spots away, ok. But at least the season/time of year.
Congrats on your pb speck there Mark. Ever fished down in the lower laguna madre for some monster specks? I caught my pb @ 29.75" back in Dec. 1998. And, I've seen, I kid you not, an old man catch one wadefishing back in the early 90s, flip it over his shoulder and drag it onto the bank at Holly Beach. My brother and I couldn't believe it. He was a short man at around 5'3 or 5'4 in ht., but that trout must've been easily in the upper 40s if not 50s imo.
hey man, really nice trout and flounder! my pb trout is 28.5 inches off of a cut mullet on bottom!!! and my pb flounder is 23 inches off of a monster3X shrimp. really love the vids you put out dude!
With a strong N wind coming in tonight with the front, would the flats near Moses lake be a nice choice? I’d imagine the baitfish would be hiding there but i could be wrong!
I honestly don't know but my way of thinking is the bait wants to take shelter from the wind the way we do. So I always try to find sheltered spots and i've been lucky that the fish have been there.
Can I ask where you be able to put the kayak in the water near there? To get out to the bay quicker? I've gone in a boat before coming from chocolate bayou, but this would be the first time for a kayak. Thanks again for any help in advance.
Sounds good I'll look it up and thanks again for the quick response. Just found your channel the other day and have learned something from each one I've watched thanks again.
These are what I personally would go with if I had to start all over again. Ocean Kayak Trident series and Perception Pescador series. Then when you’re ready to upgrade, sell it and call Three Belles Outfitters for a dream Hobie! Good luck with the purchase! Hope to see you on the water 💦
I have a Pescador at 12' that I really like. It's from 2 years ago, so the only downside is that it wasn't meant for standing. I can do it, but it's dicey...
You don't need them but you can choose to use them. I don't mind a lil water getting in so I don't use them. The only time I did use them I had more water that I liked inside the kayak that was not draining. So if you use scupper plugs make sure to not get too much water in the kayak or else your feel will be wet. I prefer to not use scupper plugs and just allow a lil water to get in and then to drain by itself. Hope I made sense.
I love the Pro Angler because of how much it can carry and the seat is the best on the market. It's so stable when on the water. I also love the Outback. I have two in my fleet right now because it's the best of both worlds in terms of speed and carrying capacity. It's stable enough for me to stand comfortably and sight cast from. And it's lighter than the Pro Angler. Every angler is different and needs different things while on the water. For instance my body type may be different than your's. You may need a lot more leg room than I or you may need more load capacity. It just depends on what you need. Either way give Three Belles Outfitters a call (860) 691-3001 and the guys will make sure you get exactly what you need. They're the best out there in customer support and that's the main reason why I shop them exclusively. Trust me, you won't regret shopping with them and shipping was very fast. Check out my video of the new Outback that was shipped by them. Good luck with your purchase!!! threebellesoutfitters.com/
It's weird, but when I watch on PC, the audio and video aren't sync'd, but on mobile it's fine. Second video I've noticed this on. Hopefully it's just me...?
Cabela’s has them. But it appears that someone has went there and bought them all up. The white with chart tail at least. They still have other colors. But that shrimp color is fire 🔥 There’s a lot out there and the fish are feeding hard on them right now.

Love the fact that you talk to the fish. Now that’s a relationship!
😂

I would call that a great day. You are a better man than me. That flounder would have been in my freezer.

Nice Slam! Where did you put your kayak in at ( location)?
Can I ask where you be able to put the kayak in the water near there? To get out to the bay quicker? I've gone in a boat before coming from chocolate bayou, but this would be the first time for a kayak. Thanks again for any help in advance.
I launched from Watermans boat ramp. Cost is $5 for kayaks.
Sounds good I'll look it up and thanks again for the quick response. Just found your channel the other day and have learned something from each one I've watched thanks again.
Did you notice the color o the trout vs, the water color !
Nice slam! You use the open-back on your GoPro case?
My setup is listed in the discription. I use a third party housing that allows for an external mic.
Great video Mark.... Any advise on what kayak to buy with a tight budget? ($1000 or less). I like hobie mirage compass but still $2k. Thank you!

Robert Solis give me a message if you are interested. I have my kayak for sale in your price range.

That was some good eating , why throw them back ????
I keep some every once in a while.
good video
I am new just bought a kayak and wanted to know do you need scupper plugs

Only if you don’t want standing water in the yak with you. But the amount of water depends on the load your kayak has in it.
Nice video
Thanks!
So Cool! 👍🏼
Thanks!
I’ve been wanting to buy a Hobie kayak just don’t know which one got any opinions????

Do you have a video where you comparing both of the kayaks
I prefer the Outback.
I don’t have a comparison video
Hey buddy what lure are you using here?
It’s the Hogies swimming jack, white/chart tail. On a bass assassain Pro Elite weed less hook.
Eye for an eye bro... lol
That dude was gangster
What kind of net is that?
It’s a frabile rubberized kayak net.
It's weird, but when I watch on PC, the audio and video aren't sync'd, but on mobile it's fine. Second video I've noticed this on. Hopefully it's just me...?
I just checked and my sources are all good.
MDLR Fishing cool. Might just be my internet connection. Keep up the good work!
We're can I buy hogie lures mark?

I ordered mine from Tackle Hut in North Houston since i'm far from Cabelas. U might wanna try FTU or Angler's Anonymous in Katy.
See!! one slow day has an alternate AMAZING day. This is why I fish to have a day like you had in this video. Great work.
Thank you!
