Fun fact: If you kill the demon in pain first and make the demon from below the demon prince, you can use the “stretch out” gesture to completely dodge the laser beam attack

been doing it till one time i got extremely close to winning, just two more hits. demon prince uses laser so i stretch out. it decides to hit me this time. uninstalled game.

@@namelessking9399 This guy was a pain in the ass for me because he had me running around like crazy, everytime i got near to him he flew to the other extreme of the arena, i had to let him kill me and summon help because it was getting ridiculous.
For anybody struggling who’s build doesn’t let them use dark knight weapons such as a pure dex build : I used a sharp carthus curved sword with Carthus rogue. Only summon one to help in my opinion I think Lapp is the better choice. Good luck
Tho you only get one chance with Lapp, so gotta think careful. I didn't. I was about to beat the Demon Prince but he killed me because I got greedy and then I lost my best chance with Lapp.
I have a high dex build level 110 with twin blades and I just beat these at first try

I don't leave bon fire without tears of denial ever lol. Spell I've used twenty times more than any other spell... except maybe carthus flame buff

Theyre basicly immune to ANY kind of magic and highly resistend against dark.
i beat this thing with a dark weapon and i did fine, they are, according to the wiki weak to dark and lightning in the first phase but in the 2nd phase they are strong against that, the they are neutral against dark tho.

Deals arround 80% less than usual but you can still beat him quite effective
Dark is the only weakness.
Its not weak against dark it is just not immune against it

This boss has too much health.
pain is best left second XD meatballs literally not as hard as people say just sprint at boss and once in blue moon roll to safety laser has the stretch out or get behind him, when it comes to trying to do damage fast and not having to safely dodge a attack pain is better prince for people wanting to go faster but below is better for patient people

This fight has been utterly heartbreaking for me because I get the demon prince down the the last friggin pixel of health and then he always finds a way to one shot me.

the hate thing about boses like these are not the difficult level, but patience and fun, with e.g. Nameless King you have fun, highpaced battle

Lapp and Gael make new game a breeze but NG + is killing me .
I'm on NG+ 4 and went with a dark sorcery chaos fire build. Worked pretty good, only took lapp with me tho

When the dragon turns into a demon prince my weapons seem to do way less damage. Like 100 per hit when it use to do like 300 or 400 per hit wtf..
Health. I just find it easier if you stagger them. I did it twice in that mode

As a sorcerer, this boss fight is garbage.. probably it's the 10th run I do, and I thought this boss fight was actually cool, lot of hp but pretty easy.. now, with a full sorcerer build, I can easily beat the first phase.. but then.. you just have to stay close to the demon or you're dead, like I always am, dead

when you die and get back to the bonfire use an ember and you will find 2 summon signs im the ground it’s really helpful i died 1 time then killed him from the second try

Came back back to ds3, FUCKING YES take that sister friede! Now let's finish of that demon prin - 20 attempts later......think I'll start Sekiro now! Literally my least favourite boss in any from software game!!

Don't give up. Best advice is learning the attack patterns and then you'll beat them much easier.

You played bloodborne first im guessing . I just got into games and played bloodborne first and got punished non stop. Rom the spider made me rage quit for 5 months. But yeah i did the whole series backwards pretty much. Now im addicted to these games. And the pvp.

Im new to Dark Souls in general, but man this helped me so much. Kiling Demon in Pain first was definitely key. Only took me 3 more attempts after watching this.

Yo, guys. I switched to Fully upgraded Bleed infusion Washing Pole katana and beat the Demon Prince on my first try. I was surprised to see how much damage it did, way more than dark infusion.

Rock hard fight, this took me a good few hours. You absolutely HAVE to stay close to him to stop him using horrible AOEs
Both DLCs are not worth it, developers are just punishing you for completing the main game. (3 Bosses in 1 fight, seriously).
So annoying when creators claim things are so easy, especially here. Literally have been stuck on this fight for weeks and haven't been able to kill either fucking demon let alone get to the second phase. Sorry I guess I'm just a noob but for fucks sake this video did literally nothing to help.

Good tip. I still need both NPCs to help with that first phase though. Managed to get to phase 2 on my own on my first attempt then died another 6 or 7 times in phase 1 after before deciding to use the NPCs

Ok at least something works good. I use dark sorcereries to get damage out, but it didn't seem the most effective due to slower hits. Watched 3 vids and either contained lightning or strength

This boss broke me on ng+6. I had to summon lapp after dying 19 times while trying to kill them with dark blade and a broad sword.

500+ damage per hit,very high endurance and using ember... im at level 90 and i can only execute 290 damage per hit using my dark knight sword 3+... so basically im underleveled?

Check the scaling of your weapon, you should be doing over 520 physical damage.

He is still only sl125, must’ve put it in other things.
I mean why level up a stat you only use once, and you can use a ring to get the spell.
That’s what I do.

My Demon Of Pain would always go passive first, so I would focus on Killing the Demon Below first.
That version of the Demon Prince is 1000% harder than the one the video tells you to shoot for.
I died 8 or 9 times to the Demon Below Prince, I just killed the Pain Prince on my first try.
Even his laser doesn't do as much damage as the crazy fire bombs from the other Prince.
The second one doesn't debuff actually
