Can’t believe you are so close to being a mom, been watching you since I was just a few years younger than you back when you were like 16. Thanks for taking us on the journey ❤️
Love seeing these bumpdates because it reminds me that we have very similar due dates! I'm also having a boy, but going about things the traditional way with my husband. I love seeing someone going through a similar life stage in a completely different way. 🥰
I had a difficult pregnancy, not unlike yours, but it was absolutely nothing compared to how hard post partum was both mentally and physically. Hormones and mental health go wild after birth. Fingers crossed it won't be like that for you but just wanted to warn you. I'm 25 weeks pregnant with baby number 2, so really enjoying your series and updates. All the best!
Honestly, looking at your face after talking about what you love vs. The start of the video was so nice! It’s like you have a glow, not just from the pregnancy. I’m so happy you’re feeling a bit more like yourself!
8:33 I thought to myself that you seem so much more energetic and positive in this video, I love to see that you’re finding some relief during this time and that you’re starting to feel better and back to yourself ❤
Thank you so much for sharing this whole experience with us. I'm another person who is trying to go down the iui route, having someone who is willing to share the whole journey has made it so much less scarily unknown for me, I've told no one but my mum about what I'm trying to do because the rest of my family will laugh and judge me for not being able to get a partner (even when I've said I don't want/need one) which has made it really difficult to try n get funds (had to set up a gofundme account in secret cus I can not afford the cost on my own) so thank you so much please remember how special you are and strong you are for taken on this journey and your baby will be so precious and loved !
I’m in the same position! I want to raise children the most out of any of my other goals. And certainly more than I want a partner, I think unless I found the perfect one it would negatively affect my parenting honestly. 🤞🏻 for us
Just remember that every child needs a father. No matter how good the mother is, there will always be a hole if the father is not present. He is the one who gives the child a sense of direction and security.
So funny you’ve been finding interest and motivation in a future career perspective - I’m also due in Feb a few weeks before you and I’ve been feeling the same way recently! Very motivated to make progress & new goals in my career, but having to remind myself I will have to focus on motherhood first.
I have just bought a maternity coat recently though my daughter is 6 months so I'm not pregnant anymore (as she was born in June I had no need for a maternity coat when actually pregnant!) But the insert I have accommodates baby wearing with a little hood thingy too and it has been so so useful!! I can wear it without the insert as a normal coat which I often do. I'm so pleased I got it.
I get faint in my pregnancies too, usually because of low blood pressure and high blood volume! I carry salted almonds wherever I go, it seems to really help when I get lightheaded 😊
The dutch mini pancakes are called poffertjes. The pronunciation is as puffer with the o of gosh instead of the u, the tj is as the ch in change and the es is like us.
My baby is getting evicted Monday. This pregnancy should have definitely ended sooner but the doctors cared more about baby than me. I literally almost died and needed multiple infusions of several blood and blood products. I feel like I’m barely hanging on, but my family is helping with my other kids so I can just rest 100% so hopefully I can pull through the c section Monday.
@@hx1487 sorry if me nearly dying because doctors refuse to help when I needed it most made me have some trust issues. And besides not every women has a great pregnancy or delivery. It doesn’t mean we don’t love the child, it just means we now lose trust with doctors. I love my baby but because of my experience and treatment I now have permanent trust issues with the medical profession
Hi Bryony! Not sure of this has been brought up before but when you said they checked whether you were anemic, did they check just hemoglobin or also ferritin? You might have ok hemoglobin but still have insufficient iron levels and ferritin shows that.
3/4 Trimesters down! It's true, that we don't prioritize the facts and symptoms/side effects to pregnancy. There are so many things most people only find out, once they are pregnant. Hope you and baby boy stay well and you can get some rest!
glad things are looking up for you but i do appreciate your honesty on how hard it's been. maybe you could address whether you think the pregnancy could have been easier if you weren't doing it solo? just curious!
I remember feeling like I had “popped” but the doctor always being like “ just wait til you pop!” and I just felt like undercooked popcorn. But then I actually did “pop” more and woah the difference. 😭 I miss my big ol belly sometimes.
8m glad you’re feeling bunch better physically and mentally! It’s always nice when your belly is definitely baby and not just getting fat! I thought that when I was pregnant do people things I’m just fat and then you get to the point where it would be hard for some to think that!
@@salzburg18 We definitely do have the GTT. I have 3 children and have done it with every single pregnancy, maybe it depends where in the country you are.
@user-kg1nq3vw9o I'm in Scotland and I didn't have it with either of my pregnancies, I wasn't offered it. It's a good idea and I would have taken it if I'd been offered.
I am obsessed by Traitors - I am really enjoying it. I do think that you have to take into account the way it is edited - they may have good leadership skills that we just dont see, or their skill is good but in another environment.
I’ll be honest, I’m a mum of three, 19,16,15 it’s rough and tough I’m 39. If I could change my mind I wouldn’t have kids now! I can tell you the pregnancy stage is easy!! (I didn’t think so at the time) bringing them up after the age of 10 is absolutely worrying 😢 I love my children with my heart but this world we are living in I wouldn’t have children now.
@@powderandpaint14 I had multiple children because I was an only child and absolutely hated it and hated my parents for it! Yes, the world has been difficult for a long time even when I had children back in 2003 but the world has changed so so much since then and it’s completely different! Unless you have a very privileged life, and live in a lovely area I wouldn’t want to be doing it now. Luckily my eldest daughter is at university, one doing A levels getting ready for Uni and son wants to go into the Navy and none of them have the desire for children which I’m happy about! They have seen the struggle with money and how much I worry about their safety they don’t want they responsibility. As I said, I’ll stand by my comment, pregnancy is easy! raising kids is rough and tough in this world we live in. It’s ugly. This is my opinion to say it’s changed from back then to now.
I think whatever her answer is present day could change after birth. She could say she definitely wants one more in the future now and then after birth change her mind altogether depending on the severity. Or she could strongly disagree with more children since her pregnancy has been so incredibly rough, and then have the most beautiful, blissful birth that has her looking at her son the first day thinking, "Wow...... I would gladly do all of this over again to feel this feeling once more," 💙🥺
@@shyspeaks9238 That‘s what I say. Let‘s have one and look how it goes for everyone. Maybe after the first I want no more children or I want 3 more (probably not 😅).
