I loved today's tour. I usually appreciate the vintage studio tours more, but this was great. Awesome to see a studio taking advantage of science, decades of trial and error, technology, shared knowledge, etc.
    This studio feels like progress.

A brilliant studio visit, sincere, very to the point, clearly see the hand of our German brothers in this studio. Purity of form, colors, unambiguity. I especially like Dolby Atmos which I am a huge fan of.

Flipping heck! $125.000.00 for just a set of those PMC - XPD Monitors! Plus, such a clean environment, I'd bet money they sound amazing in that room without loads of clutter! Don't get me wrong, loads of racks of outboard gear is cool but the rooms look so clean, almost clinical!

This little tour inspires the imagination. If I might humbly add my input on Ludwig snare recommendations, I suggest a Ludwig maple snare and a Supraphonic as a start. That covers a good amount of territory depending on the type of music being played. A Ludwig Black Beauty is also a must when funds allow (they're more costly), or just start with the Black Beauty to began with. A Black Beauty is all the snare some drummers need. I also personally like to have a Ludwig Jazz Fest available as another option. I can never have too many snare drums 😄.

I don't know, old school I guess...I love a console...It's like driving a muscle car, faders, throttle up, EQ richen or maybe lean, compression hitting the brakes, who cares if it doesn't sound just so, change the gears, open the headers, more compression, dial in some effects... You know what happens when you add compression to a performance engine? MORE HORSEPOWER and way better sound! On and on...I'm going to the studio for a drive! I hate computers!!!

Yo! You are killing your retention by starting your video with a graphic + music. First 10 seconds of the video are the most important. You need to get right to the point immediately and hook your viewer.

    • @steelesaldutti
