I was listening to this song a few days ago and my mother commented how she likes these kinds of songs. Songs which are happy and joyful and have energy, but are not the kind which are sung powerfully. Like, you know how usually happy songs are either very soft are either very loud? This is neither. This is just light. When she said that, I realised that I don't have any other song with the same kind of feel as this song. My playlist mostly defines happy songs as either very loud and powerful or very soft and calm. I was wondering why I did not have any of those kinds of songs in my playlist. I was listening to this song a few days ago and my mother commented how she likes these kinds of songs. Songs which are happy and joyful and have energy, but are not the kind which are sung powerfully. Like, you know how usually happy songs are either very soft are either very loud? This is neither. This is just light. When she said that, I realised that I don't have any other song with the same kind of feel as this song. My playlist mostly defines happy songs as either very loud and powerful or very soft and calm. I was wondering why I did not have any of those kinds of songs in my playlist. That was when I realised that these days people do not release such kinds of songs anymore. I would love it if they start again, because this kind of feeling is a completely different one. Happy, but light yet energetic. The kinds of songs which make you want to half close your eyes, smile and either run or raise your hands high.
