So if the quest 3 is this good I can just imagine the Apple Vision Pro with 4K each eye and Dobly vision HDR. The only downside is that it’s a single person experience while a home theater you can share with the whole family. But since the Quest 3 is cheaper at 500 you could in theory buy 3 and invite family in the big screen mode in VR. I’m telling you I was skeptical at first until I got the Quest 3. Watch 5 movies so far in 4K Mario brothers movie and it literally feels like I’m saving my by watching it in VR. Home theater and movie theaters still have its place but VR or AR is definitely the future.
I also filled my Quest 3 512GB with torrent movies to watch on Skybox VR via USB-C, something you can't do easily on the AVP... you can't see any pixels... watching in your own personal cinema is amazing with a gigantic screen.... same with Netflix or Prime Video... the limiting factor is the quality of the movies and that goes for Skybox and the streaming apps... I love my Meta Quest 3.... it's amazing and it's also spacial computing, I also use it for a screen for my Mac, a 100 inch screen in your space is really good!... and the other day I got a notification to join the Metaverse and watch an NBA game courtside..... it was amazing you can look up, around and walk around the VR stadium that is integrated to the 360 video of the court... and it had no ads!!! so you can see all the action in the timeouts.... can't wait for Meta to buy more rights to other sports! Also using the OS and the social apps and browser windows as a spacial computer with windows in your own space is really good too!!
We know this is an end user review and it is great , but I would love to see a technical review . Since there is obviously some scaling involved in these movies watching on Vision pro. I am sure native resolutions come in question. Bit rate on a Bluray DVD is superior to streaming but if a Vision Pro does post processing of the image and it is very solid in comparison to physical media . Than good bye to home theatre TV setups right?
I only know of Apple TV (not plus) aka iTunes movies - Vision pro does not boost anything visually. 4K releases are 30k avg 50k mbit peak, which is worse than most BDs (50k avg 70k peak) but not qualitatively, to my eye anyway. What I'm personally more impressed with is the awakening of 3D. Apple yanked an open-source codec, tweaked a few things and made a more efficient but closed version of it for 3D movies - and it does not sacrifice image quality - you get this extra 3D layer on top of the existing 30k average bitrate. With Dolby Vision it's a pretty good replacement for cinema theatres, let alone home theatres, where 3D has been very stagnant. One thing I kinda hate about HDR on this thing is that for anything over 1k nits, it feels underpowered, not bright enough. And the fact that you're so alone in it..
No idea about Disney+ either, apart from the 3D releases which are pretty much the same, and no idea about any other streaming services. Itunes has always been my go-to for high efficiency, high bitrate stuff that makes anything else look terrible in the long run, so I haven't even bothered. Now... if we take the price into account, whole 3500 freedom eagles for a thing that can't deliver brilliant home theatre-like sound in any capacity? That's a hard pass.
bruhhhh.... Yo, I'm actually going to go and demo the bad boy on Tuesday! I will buy it right then and there if it is first, comfortable, then if Disney plus can extend to over 119inches, and third if the glare/blue is not present
Comfort is not an issue. Getting the right fit and playing around is easy to mitigate any concerns. All the noise you been hearing is cause people try it once for a video and give their expert opinion.
@@firefox2462 yeah but why spend all that money now when it’s not certain what you will get in the future? You have to judge a product on what’s available now. The APV you can’t play any file you want in theater mode just so you know . But I’ll say go try it out and see if it’s worth it to you.

Home theater and movie theaters still have its place but VR or AR is definitely the future.
you just earned a sub Sir great video
Can you send me one?
Please sony3d viwar how
I will get one when I can watch my torrented movies on it.
Quest 3 is beyyer
Bros nose is so funny
Como hiciste para grabar sin problema de derechos de copyright?
Looks and sounds like you have a boyfriend not a girlfriend
I really wish I had a product like that
Middle
on the airplane*
Thumb nail looks great
Love it!
Seems like a killer app
first
is it like imax?
All the noise you been hearing is cause people try it once for a video and give their expert opinion.
i mean the Quest 3 can give you a theater size screen of 100 foot or more , which is a 1200 inch screen , the APV can do the same
@@megaprimegamer1184 fov with the blurred edges is also a massive factor
@@msg360 the thing is it's Apple. Meaning they will be updating the shit out of it
@@firefox2462 yeah but why spend all that money now when it’s not certain what you will get in the future? You have to judge a product on what’s available now. The APV you can’t play any file you want in theater mode just so you know . But I’ll say go try it out and see if it’s worth it to you.
Awesome video hope one day I get a Apple Vision Pro
So cool video and keep making them
