dude.. you just saved me from spending on the new 15+. here i am thinking newer is always better. am sticking to my 12 pro max for sure. keep up the good work. 👍
Thank you so much for not just reciting the specs and actually talking about the use of the phone. These are the kind of videos I want to watch for a review, especially long term.
i just got the iphone 12 pro max and with apple refurb 100% battery i dont live on my phone and im still 75% at 11pm yes this phone is a beast and why bother going from 12 to 13 14 15 if u can find this at a great price rock it until no more updates and after still rock it awesome phone put a nice case and enjoy the best phone ive had for a long time
I currently have the iPhone 15 plus 128gb , but just recently purchased a used iPhone 12 Pro Max 256gb in mint condition cause I needed more storage and did't want to spend a lot of money on a current iPhone, I learned that I can go without the latest and greatest features
Still using my iPhone 12 Pro Max I know a few people that upgraded to the 15 pro max and have been having trouble since I’m so glad I kept my 12 pro max
Pretty grounded view of how things are! You really make the point that the 12 still holds up as if it was new. Really good video man, loved the way you explained everything.
My sister in law gave me her iPhone 12 Pro Max two years ago as she was going to upgrade to a newer model and I happily accepted the offer, coming from an iPhone XR that I had spent many good years with but I wasn't gonna say no to a free upgrade. I'm very happy with the 12 Pro Max so far, the only downside for me is that it sort of turns itself off randomly when the screen goes black and a spinning/buffering symbol appears and then the screen turns back on. It's not a major issue and it doesn't happen too often but it's slightly annoying when it does happen. Other than that, I can truly vouch for the 12 Pro Max as a solid phone to use in 2024! :)
Have you checked the battery health? My 12PM was a bit unreliable with the battery health stuck at 83% for 1/2 a year. The Apple Store installed a battery and the phone became reliable again.
Nice down to earth approach and video. I'm an Android S20 FE user, and this iPhone 12 Max Pro is really interesting for me right now, especially as I can't afford the 13 Max pro... Thank you for your thoughtful video.
@@migmatched btw I did purchase the iPhone 12 Pro Max a couple of weeks ago, and I absolutely love it! (except for the weight). I actually like it more than android in many ways. Just as an FYI, the phone updated to iOS 17.5.1. And as others have mentioned, I really like the approach of the video without all the techy specs.
Thank you for an honest review. The 12/13/14 and 15 all have the same basic design and user experience. They are all just a refreshed version of the iPhone 12 design - same screen sizes, same face ID and basically the same cameras. (Though I was really tempted by the 5x camera this year, but decided I didn't really need it.)
Keep posting dude. You’re gonna get somewhere one day. With the type of videos your posting, your BOUND to get somewhere in a couple of years. Keep up the amazing work!!
Indeed one of the best and most durable smart phones ever made.. perhaps the best iphone, same as in samsung that s7 is the best smart phone they have ever made
i totally agree im thinking about gettin the iphone 12 pro max theres little difference between the 15 pro max why spend more when its more or less the same phone makes no sense to me :/
Battery is not really a deciding factor to upgrade to a new one because you can have it replaced in the apple store. I have the regular 12 and not yet thinking about upgrading because it still works great. My sister uses a 14 pro max and she also disabled the always-on display because it is too distracting 😂
I think that depends. I have heard that the new One Plus 12 is awesome but I haven't heard much from the r version. It might still be very worth it so I would do some extra research on that. I think that if you are heavily into the apple ecosystem, especially if you have like an apple watch, then the iphone will always be better. However, if you are not, then it might be worth it to explore the new one plus 12r since it's newer and many benefits come from that. But definitely do some research on that, watch some youtube videos and then make the decision. :) Have an awesome day and thanks for watching!
I've been wanting to have an iPhone in so long. Coming from an Android phone PocoF5, do you think this is a good phone for a first time iphone user like me? Budget is also quite limited. I've seen iphone 12 pro max here go as low as $479 used. Do you think that price is fair?
Hi there! I am not as familiar with the Galaxy lineup of phones as I have never owned one. However, from what I've gathered this phone has perhaps one more update left on it before they stop updating it. Usually I would say that in this case it may be worth the upgrade. If you want to upgrade to an iphone this will definitely be a very different experience though, not a bad one, just different. Have you considered staying in the FE lineup? I know that the s23 FE just came out not long ago.
Im android user and i want to experience the apple ios. I'm planning to buy a 2nd hand 12 pro max because it's the only one I can afford right now and it's within my budget. is it worth buying because the one I still use until now is a galaxy a30😅
Hey sorry for the late reply. It really depends on how much you are buying the 12 for. I see them as low as $450 in some places, perhaps you could get one ever cheaper somewhere if you are lucky. I wouldn't pay above $500 at this point for one though.
dude.. you just saved me from spending on the new 15+. here i am thinking newer is always better. am sticking to my 12 pro max for sure. keep up the good work. 👍
Glad I could help! :) The 12 Pro Max is still such a great phone, thank you for your comment!
Thanks for sharing. Thanks for that information.

Thank you for stopping by and watching the video :) I really do think a lot of reviewers get too caught up on the specs.

It really was too distracting! Plus I have an apple watch as well and that is also always on; so the phone also being on seemed unnecessary for me.
What should i do 12 pro max used or new oneplus 12r

It really is a great phone honestly.
@@migmatched yea
I'll do the same because i got display issue on my 13PM. As far as i know 12PM doesn't have any issues like that!
