what an amazing video! the footage of the whale rescues is truly heartwarming. however, i can't help but wonder if we're putting too much emphasis on these rescues instead of addressing the larger environmental issues causing these problems in the first place. it seems like a classic case of treating the symptoms rather than the cause.
Wow, I hated it. I felt cheated. I really wanted stuff like Springer's segment, which is what we're promised. The second segment made me so bored, I kept waiting for whales to appear but nope. Glad someone liked it😅
I live in Seattle Wa. and we are saddened by the Military activity, barges, container ships, and human waste, all of these human activities are the reason for the loss of our marine animals.
THE TITLE IS A LIE - I still have to finish this upload, and as I do I will edit it more warnings, if needed. We came for footage of whales (based on thumbnails, ideally killer whales) but 47m to 1m30s is some mind numbing documentary called "Horizontal Everest" where a modern day adventurer follows the footsteps of a weather researcher named Greely and his crew of scientists (I. E. No survivalists, doomed to fail). You won't even see a cetacean in the background, let alone get footage and info about them. You barely get animals, for that matter, except to list the hares, fowl, shrimp and walruses they could've eaten, if they were competent. Got it was boring. Save yourself and skip it. The footage starting at 1m30s appears to be about rare white bears (think grizzlies or Kodiak with recessive coloring). At least things return to an animal focus at that point. Great footage like Springer the baby orca from the beginning has not been duplicated yet, but I'm hopeful we'll actually get some more whales in the 3h plus we were promised, not just that earliest 45m.

Such a great video. I especially enjoyed the second segment, simply because of the historic aspect.
